Almost every artist uses Tumblr, anon.
Devianart is garbage, having a blog will give you no views and posting it in instagram/pinterest will get you nowhere.
That's just how it is.

That barely makes sense but I found it kind of endearing anyway. My art is the only art related joke I have on hand fam lmoa

What do you guys think the landscape for websites for artists will look like in 5 years time, or 10?
Will Tumblr still be around what with it being bought by Yahoo which itself is now being bought out or whatever? What about ArtStation? I guess Deviantart will continue trucking along, Pixiv seems popular as ever in weeb circles and FurAffinity among furfags.
I hope people will stop using Twitter as their only platform to upload art.
How about DrawCrowd?

I think drawcrowd has a lot of potential, and is getting a lot of love from the pacific (the orient/russia et al). The focus is pretty limited for the time being though, it seems like 90% or more of the artwork there is highly rendered anime tiddy-not that I'm complaining!

Don't exactly know. Could just be adding some cartoony blushed skin tone to a character. It also makes the nose stick out more from the face with the contrast.

YouTube embed. Click thumbnail to play. >>4247
Yeah. When you put that red on there it really delineates the nose from the face in a way that just a pair of lines cannot. Kind of reminds me of "human" characters on the Muppets.

To what is this guy referring to exactly?

Yeah, that line really comes out of left field. 80's and 90's anime was typically highly detailed and beautiful, comparing it to Calarts noodle people is almost insulting.
