He started out making okay videos, but over time he ventured further and further into aesthetic relativism. This caused both his drawings and his videos to decrease in quality.
There was a point where I could link to his videos to a beginner. Now I can't because it's too much of a mixed bag of okay advice and terrible advice.
Video is an example of his newer, worse advice while he draws shitty twinks I would have drawn in middle school.

He's really good, though, but he's wasting it on his own personal style, which is lifeless and drab and boring and a snoozefest and doesn't even look all that good.

I get what you mean.
The simple Loomis skeleton he draws is a good advice, I myself am at that point, but he completely fucks his advice by telling people to disregard anatomy and everything else.
I get what he's thinking, anatomy is not something you consciously think about all the time while drawing, but he completely disregards the fact that you subconsciously get used to it and it really improves your drawings.
Also, while his first drawing was complete shit, you can tell he can draw well just from that video. I guess he's just tired and without ambition.

I draw demons and religious art, for me it's the same thing. Stuff like demons trying to get out of hell or trying to make it a good place where there is no suffering and similar themes, that kinda stuff really resonates within me. I think I art like that carries some kind of spiritual weight beyond just aesthetics and besides, I think having a contrast is good too, like ying and yang and for there to be light there must be darkness too and all that jazz.

Assuming Lucifer isn't bullshit then God isn't bullshit either. Personally I make it a point to draw my art with some religious undertones whenever possible, kinda like how all those satanic celebrities include satanic symbolism into their works, I just add Christianity instead and always try to make God the good guy in my art.
