I stopped going to /ic/ because I was getting fed up with the faggots going on about "muh funduhmentuls" and lecturing me on how to study to draw instead of critically telling me what I need improving. That mindset of "studying" completely devoid of any meaning or purpose, coupled with the crippling autism inherent with the board made it impossible for me to progress.
I wanted to become a comic book artist, but at this rate I feel like stagnation will get the better of me.

**Stylistically her long and pointed jaw makes her look really old while the angle of the tip of the nose is really excessive almost piggish. Tip is more curved in infancy which is why a slight upward angle can look cute, but it clashes with the rest and it makes her overall ugly IMO. Curve shouldn't be that apparent in the angle either way and only fully visible on a full side profile, which is a sign of symbol drawing. It becomes more apparent that you didn't pay close enough attention to the forms in space when you visualize the philtrum going from the lips to the nose.
Pay more attention to the general gesture. For example her left shoulder looks like it's raised awkwardly up and to the front which makes her look tensed even though her face looks relaxed and bored. Try to visualize the clavicles to get it right.
Lighting just doesn't make sense. You didn't even try to think of a light source and not even the the kind of pillow shading you're going for is applied consistently.**

So you post a stylised picture and want a critique yet we don't really know what you want to be critiqued on. If your goal of this image is to be exactly like this in this style, well I guess all our advice would be wrong from the start. If you say "I want to emulate X style" or "I want to find a way to express as much form as possible by using lines and flat colors." well yeah, then we can start to talk but just throwing out a picture and asking for critique is a bad idea in general (this isn't just you that does this, most people do it and I think it's a big problem because we just end up with a bunch of people pointing in different directions.)
This is one reason I personally critique stuff that leans more to realism because there is a certain set of principals we can all agree on, but when it becomes this stylised, you have to tell us those principals.
