Do you actually use these? Do you animate, do pixel art, do background design?

I use autodesk sketchbook. It's pretty alright in my opinion.

I'd mainly recommend easy poser, though its freemium. It is a one time pay. Outside of extras

Is RoughAnimator worth the five bucks? I'm still very lightly interested in animation and am in a bit of a chicken and the egg situation. Where buying/learning programs is too much of a bother until I get more interested, but I won't know until I start, etc.

Adding that Procreate is a pretty good mobile drawing app, and CSP is mobile now too, with Photoshop coming soon. (iOS though, unsure with Android.)

Do people actually make pixel art on their phones? Why do they hate themselves so much?
