Brush your teeth before bedtime and after waking up. Shave your pubic hair at least once a month and your facial hair every three days (up to every two weeks). Don't forget to take showers regularly and oh! use deodorant. Do your laundry weekly so you don't have to use the same dirty clothes after shower.

>INCONTINENCY AND SEMEN LEAKAGE

>hairloss

I have masturbated at least twice a day for at least a decade and a half, and I assure you, I haven't leaked anything into my underwear since I was a small child.

My hairloss pattern is exactly the same as my father's, and my grandfather's (evidently neither their masturbation habits nor their baldness kept them from reproducing). It is always genetic. And actually a sign of having testosterone to spare, so that also contradicts the NoFap narrative. Makes about as much sense as the 'hairy palms' story.

I have been called a masturbation shill on here before, and I'm ready to take on that title again, because we've been over this:

The hormonal benefits last for one day, after a number of days of not fapping, and then dissipate. The psychological benefits come from a feeling of self-control. So DO abstain, keep it to a once-weekly or once every three days schedule. It'll help you with not going insane.

>I guess I will try to brush my teeth once a day because I've been scared into doing that more lately ever since my gums started hurting.

What does your dentist say about this? Assuming you have one. Personally, I found it effective to push through the pain and basically brush until you can see it bleeding. It toughens up the gums and makes them less accessible for bacteria.

Interesting that you should hammer on the lack of citations when

>>>/nofap/1104 links to an alternative (e.g. unscientific/pseudoscience) medicine website called "herballove.com" and

>>34919 links to a popular anti-masturbation website for all of its claims except the definition of addiction. Such websites are obviously dedicated to confirmation bias.

You are right, in my recollection the thread I linked had some more extensive info, but please apply the same criticism to NoFap.

Here is something more substantial:

http://66.199.228.237/boundary/SA/neuroendocrine.pdf

"Vasopressin, LH, FSH and testosterone plasma

concentrations remained unaltered during sexual arousal

and orgasm."

http://link.springer.com/article/10.1631%2Fjzus.2003.0236

"On the 7th day of abstinence, however, a clear peak of serum testosterone appeared, reaching 145.7% of the baseline (P<0.01). No regular fluctuation was observed following continuous abstinence after the peak."

The counter-argument is that NoFap increases the sensitivity of androgen receptors. But I'm having a hard time finding anything substantial that isn't based on highly exaggerated trials with rats.

I go for long walks or bike rides now. Not just for the light exercise which is something I definitely need but also for the isolation so I can think a bit. I find it actually really helps especially after a long day where I know I got work to do at home that night. though for the last bit it has been harder to get out. -27 degree celcius plus the wind chill dropping the temperature into the -30 range type weather makes it a bit difficult going outside.

I jog 3 times a week. I think my stamina has increased a little. But I'm still fat. 177lbs, 5,11 height. I can't run for very long either. 10 - 16 mins is my top time for continuous jogging. (It varies from day to day)

It's a little discouraging. I feel good until i see myself in the mirror. I've been keeping up this routine for more than a year. Tho there have been lull periods here and there. My diet is vegetarian (too much bread and soya) so i don't know if I'd be better off eating meat. I'm thinking of starting to eat small amounts of fish.

It's weird that you are not losing any weight. Are you eating too much? Also stop eating soya either way, it makes the frogs gay. You need to increase your training efforts. 3 times a week is fine, but you have to go for at least between 30min and an hour, that's just the way your body works. Start keeping track of the distance you run and what time it takes you. Your aim is getting faster of course. If you really cannot run any more after x time just slow down after you reach your limit (!) and walk for a km or two. Never. Stop. Walking is ok to recover, but do not stop before at least 30 min. After you recovered by walking resume your running speed. Always push yourself a bit more and keep it up. I hope this yields results.

How is the military preventing you from making friends :3 If you lack time it's ok of course

>>35184

If that troubles you you need to make a cardio test. If you are obese and want to lose weight you should always talk to your doctor first. Now if I'm getting that right you are 1,8m and weigh 80kg? That's not that fat, you are like 10kg above the ideal. You can have a chat with your doctor anyways of course, I am not sure if this stuff gets you charged in burgerania though. Ideally it doesn't because prevention is cheaper than dealing with health problems. You'd also do good to talk with him about the being vegeterian stuff btw.

In general if you have no predisposition and are healthy (eg not morbidly obese) you should be able to deal with simple physical training. When I was in the military we would go for runs about an hour long with untrained conscripted rookies. Some of them were actually fat too, and while it was obviously not pleasant to them they could deal with it after being pushed. Company is the best to enforce discipline with this stuff, no man wants to be a wimp or lose face before his friends because he gives up (too early/easily). But that's also why there are cardio tests for military personel so no one gets hurt. If you have any doubts about your health pls consider visiting a doctor beforehand of course.

Well, burgerland, so there's a good chance I'll be in a foreign country. And beyond that, once my term is over, and I enjoy my time, I may go into the infantry. Aside from that though, I suppose you're right, death comes knocking for everyone eventually. Though, aside from that, I wouldn't want to make a new friend, have things go well, then get to basic training and not be able to talk to them for ten weeks.

Though, I suppose we are allowed to write letters there, but I doubt anyone I could meet on an imageboard would want to read and write letters.

But I guess if someone wanted me to, I could post on the Making Friends thread.

>Well, burgerland, so there's a good chance I'll be in a foreign country.

Possibly, but I wouldn't even think that's likely. Even though the US have military bases all over the world to spread marxism peace and democracy, you might just land in Germany, Korea or if you're lucky Japan. As of now there are just no war zones where your average joe could likely die with the exception of Iraq and Afghanistan where occupant personel dies regulary but in relation to the considerable forces stationed there over the years it is still no huge amount, most US interventions are of the kind that officially don't even exist right now… actually I guess most US foreign bases are even more secure than the USA themselves because there is no local snackbar that could snap on them realistically. Heck, even when there is war, when was the last US war in which a considerable amount of US soldiers died? Vietnam? Even Iraq under Bush Sen. was little more than a punitive expedition.

>I may go into the infantry

That's pretty tough. You might want to reconsider that.

>then get to basic training and not be able to talk to them for ten weeks.

>Though, I suppose we are allowed to write letters there, but I doubt anyone I could meet on an imageboard would want to read and write letters.
