Reality is the exact opposite of what the copyright cabal would have you believe. Only a few assholes post viruses and it is extremely rare for users to get infected by sharing.
Also, virus software is itchy and can be antagonistic to user freedom. FI, MS is famous for not allowing users to run software that gives them more freedom.
If unsure, use a junk virtual machine, d/l into it and test then. I'm fairly certain this good netizen is not spiking his files with viruses. He in fact prob got them from spankbang which at one time had many of Kate's files.
