Use saves 0-9, then load through the save menu, they get offset to 1-10 on the list. If you want to cheat during iron-man mode you have to quit the game for changes to go through, since it keeps a copy of the current game for Continue.

Quicksave can be changed outside of iron-man mode, and I often use it for testing out world-seeds so I can find ideal ones.

I think a lot of people complain unfairly about this game, and a lot of people have stupidly high expectations for it and don't look at the standards put out by other games in the series. At least every month you know that you get four updates, new art, a new encounter, all the bug fixes and patches that are needed alongside secondary projects that consistently add depth to the game.

I think it's one of the reasons a lot of "good" games are successful when it comes to patreon, but success breeds jealousy and a high standard we apply to everything. I know there's tonnes of games that go through months of silence for meager updates, games that get fresh new content but can't be played because the preceding content is so buggy, games where updates range from twenty seconds of content to two hours, where there's so little consistency in a game that's god such a good premise that it's heart breaking to see it going nowhere any time soon. (And of course, all the artists who have patreons that simply don't deserve what they make for what they do, which is astonishing to me that most people settle for mediocrity like that.)

There are several campaigns out there that, per patreon, are making more money to a lesser standard than Majalis. I'm not saying Majalis are making it a higher standard, but that other's un-deservedly make more at a lower standard, and inversely so there are some people who make content at an amazing standard but just don't get enough patreons, especially when it comes to cost/content. For example, one game in particular updates once every two to three months, each month you receive nothing but updates and art, but no actual content to the game, at a cost of $15 / month to get it when it's actually released; to which you get no additional benefits (aside from the usual your name in the credits or some fancy discord name.) This is doubly so when you might find that you've waited longer for the same kind of thing you complain about here (Re-used art, bad art, terrible assets or lack of content, etc.) at a higher cost.

It's not great, but it's not entirely terrible.

I guess, but you have to understand that in the case of Art vs Writing,it's always one-sided. It takes days for an artist to finish a piece, and that's lines, flats, lighting and shading included. Depending on your style, it can take anywhere from a few days to almost a week. During that time, a writer could have tons of stuff done by comparison. Anyone can sit down and type up 2-10 page essay in a day or two. No one is getting a single piece of art done in a day, unless that's the only thing they're doing that day. Considering the fact that I don't really play this enough to care about its progress since I don't give them money, I think it's fair to understand that there's only two people working on this, so it's gonna progress that way, regardless of how much they make on Patreon or whatever. Unless they change that, and add more people to the fray, it's gonna continue that way.

TiTS shouldn't even have that issue. Many of the portraits are basically just thumbnails or polished sketches. They should be able to get a few artists to bang out entire matching sets of in game busts for all existent characters for a tiny fraction of their monthly take. Of course they won't do that because if they actually started to improve the game, people might begin to expect them to put some of the money they get into the game instead of hookers and blow.

Though I actually don't see the problem with multiple artists for full content. As long as the artists are similar in fetish content and are consistent in what characters they draw, it usually turns out fine. It's not like the majalis artist is super consistent either.

How did you manage to do only one damage per hit against the *goblin*? Did you dump Strength? Did you use Low Attacks only? Were you wounded and horny before you started the battle? How many versions ago was this?

That said, I had to savescum like crazy to beat the Wasp, and she doesn't seem any easier in the latest version despite being able to level up and upgrade Skills/Magic/Perks now.

You need decent stats and equipment before you have a chance to win battles.

Simple strategy once you do:

∙ Open with Spring Attack to get in Offensive stance.

∙ Repeat Tempo Attack til it turns red.

∙ When it does, use Combat Guard -> Block to retreat to Defensive.

∙ Use Guard til your stamina and balance are full, then use Careful Attack to return to Offensive.

Some details:

∙ If you have magic, use it first to weaken the enemy.

∙ Keep an eye on your Stamina bar. It drops below half, retreat to Defensive stance before you get tackled.

∙ If you catch an enemy on the ground, Crushing Blow may do more damage than Tempo Attack. (Hover over it to make sure, though).

∙ Before entering a fight, remember to make sure your health is full and check for any negative status effects.

I'd also say more Urka or Dullahan is always good, maybe something with assworship, but I don't think it's a good thing for this game to go the waifu route like CoC and TiTs. Pretty obvious answer there. The dev wants to make a game, but he just sucks at it. If he wasn't a shit dev or wasn't retarded enough to have forced fail events in the first place, then the mechanics of the game would and should compliment the gameplay, not conflict with it. The game is just downright bad. I'll even go so far as to say that this is not a subjective statement. It is objectively a bad game. There are numerous design flaws that could have been avoided by any amount of rational thought. As an upside, or a show of how bad the market is, it is still one of the best western porn games available. Its faults aren't nearly as horrendous as those of similar games. There is also something to be said for a game that accepts what it is. It has its niche and fills it fine, unlike so many other games that try to do everything at once and succeed at nothing.

As one of the few people that actually like the combat, you have a few options. It's obviously surface level but you can build your skills around your build. Mage has the least amount of options with its magic, but for warriors or rogue classes you can armorbreak and dominate or blitz and matrix the enemy with high enough stats. Fullnelson > grapple > face punch and whatnot, or slide >uppercut >vault. It's fun - at least to me.

A few enemies have different scene outcomes depending on how you beat them, too. A few. The gobbos and Brigands have scenes where Hiro can top them if he beats then (the brigand in particular has a different scene if you sneak up on her). The femGobbo, Selkie, has a one and done unique scene when you first run into her if you pass all the skill checks. There's also the shapeshifter, the harpies, the centaur, and the warlock (if you pass her magic check before battle) for topping victory scenes.
