Does anyone here like to watch rejected television pilots?

One of my favourites is Lookwell. It stars Adam West as a former TV cop. it was written by Conan OBrien and Robert Smigel.

I have the entire series of eerie indiana on mp4. Still haven't watched it yet.

Does anyone else remember how inconsistent that show was when it was on the air? It came on at weird times and wasn't every week. Eventually I just gave up and moved on to Disney's animated shows.

Ingmar Bergman soap advertisement

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm will now on my magic theater demonstrate what happens to this young lady's skin.

What you see, ladies and gentlemen, is the human skin in high magnification.

This is the little drop of sweat that seeps up from the skin.

The individual with the thuggish behavior is the bacteria, ladies and gentlemen, the bacteria on our skin.

Now see how the bacterium hunts the drop of sweat in order to join with it.

And thus arises the scent, or odor, that we are so eager to wash away.

And here we are now seeing our heroine at full speed with the use of soap and water.

Yes it is true my dear friends, the soap takes away the sweat, but the bacteria remain.

But if our heroine uses the new Bris soap, then something else happens, something strange, something new.

Here comes the lather from the soap, named Bris.

As you can see, ladies and gentlemen, this time even the villainous bacterium was obliterated.

Bris is an anti-odor soap. A germicide.

Remember that, Bris against antiperspirant problems.

I think Baskets is a great show. The show does reek of any absurdist humor you'd get from Louis or any FX show but I still think it's a really fun show to watch. A very casual comedy if you will, it isn't as depressing as you'd imagine either.

If it isn't Lynch better have season four planned and ready to shoot - he isn't getting any younger, and quite a few of the geriatric actors and actresses are either dead or didn't return for season three.

Only watched the first episode of Wayward Pines so far - it has a similar small-town setting, but doesn't have the same atmosphere as Twin Peaks. Good cast though. Got some Stepford Wives & Groundhog Day vibes from the first episode. I really hope the Lost-like ending reveal won't mean it will turn in to Lost 2.0.

The first season of Better Call Saul was entertaining - better than Breaking Bad, though that isn't very high praise. Haven't bothered with season two yet, but it is on my backlog.

The first season of True Detective was decent, though somewhat overrated.

The finale/reveal was a letdown to say the least, especially after the decent build-up, and I would rather have seen them go for a more Lovecraftian angle on the cult aspect. Still, compared to most everything else on TV in recent years, it does stand out.

I assumed from the title that Wayward Pines was a Twin Peaks clone, which I suppose I'm not completely against watching, but I'd rather watch Twin Peaks again.

If it's worth watching on its own terms though, I might give it a go.

>The first season of Better Call Saul was entertaining - better than Breaking Bad, though that isn't very high praise

Yeah, I hadn't really been interested in it due to its association with Breaking Bad. How exactly does it differ from BB?

>>10613

I really liked the first two-thirds of True Detective S1, but the finale ruined much of the buildup and characterisation in those episodes. I've been tempted to revisit it since to see if my opinion would change on the ending, but I strongly doubt it.

I've been thinking about watching that a lot lately, mainly because people can't even handle the thought of the Confederacy anymore. Do any of you guys know of a place to find it in good quality?

I'm sure almost everyone knows about Mitchell and Webb by now. They've made a lot of funny content for TV and radio. Here's a clip from one of their lesser known pilots.

I think it's interesting how there's very few comedy duos in the United States anymore. Maybe the comedy duo is more popular in the UK. Michell and Webb also do plenty of radio sketch comedy. That format definitely doesn't exist in the US.
