This script was created because board RSS doesn't do as advertised (only shows new threads, not new posts in general) and any thread on /sudo/ about possible improvements gets buried under 80 threads complaining about BOs.
By installing this you can avoid having to check each and every slow board you browse to see if anyone's posted recently. Theoretically, this can help speed up board activity if enough people have this installed. Everyone with the script can easily tell when someone else makes a post, and so they can respond to it in a timely manner and possibly get a conversation going.
USAGE
Get the script. It should automatically install itself. If for some reason it doesn't, you can always paste it into your 8chan user JS (found in the Options menu in the upper right corner).
Favorites list shows how many posts have been made on each board since you last visited.
Mouse over a favorite board to see when its last post was.
Boards that haven't been posted on in 10+ days will be colored (this is customizable, see the options in the script source).
