The Razor's Edge re-release helped in making it more palatable by adding back weapons, the girls, trials, returning boss fights and difficulty whilst changing some other things under the hood like Steel On Bone, but it should have had a much better send off from the beginning.

The comic was at its most interesting and entertaining when Ian Flynn had free reign to do literally whatever the fuck he wanted, and he didn't have to do any bullshit worldbuilding since previous writers had already done it for him.
It didn't always result in greatness, but it was better than the soulless mediocrity we have now.

That's nice, the games in general have had amazing animated trailers across the board, however they have become increasingly petty over time with regards to length and complexity. It's sad.
