I finished my Amazon Flex shift. It was pretty good.
The people there were nice after I told them I was new, they gave me an easy delivery to start off with. After that I was given a proper one and I had to drive all the way from Newcastle to Durham which is quite a long way for something that is supposed to be a fast delivery service. I was there about 3 hours and made $60, I probably spent about $8 on petrol but that's still okay.

That should be the case, but the few time I tried to work out regularly in my bedroom with dumbbells, I never got very far. After about a month or two of exercising 3 days a week, I would enter a state of constant fatigue and exhaustion, and have to stop doing it for a while to recover, and then I'd lose the small amount of gains I'd made.
I'm guessing the problem was just not eating enough, but it's not like I wasn't trying. I was eating far more than I used to, but that only took me from borderline anorexic to the lower end of "normal". I really don't know how to fix this.

Drinking your calories is a good place to start. If you were to go from low-normal to having one or two servings of this or something similar a day (https://www.myprotein.com/sports-nutrition/hard-gainer-extreme/10615587.html) you would be at maintenance or slightly above, at which point you could exercise without risk of overtraining.
Once you've been eating more for a while you'll just get used to it, but you don't have to go straight to maintenance level straight away, just make sure you're eating a little bit more each day and gradually work towards it. Don't try exercising until you've reached maintenance, or ideally above, because the calories burned would be calories not going to your organs and not repairing your muscles, meaning they would break down even more and you would become fatigued and probably ill. If you sleep a lot (more than 8-9 hours a night) try to cut down on that so you don't have to cram your meals so tightly into your waking hours.

Finished my Flex shift. I had to deliver a parcel to a rural area of Durham that had no 3g, 4g. I had to ask the lady who I was delivering to if it was okay to have her WIFI password. Have you tried using meditation/relaxation techniques? I used to suffer with insomnia to the point where I would stay awake as long as I possibly could to force myself to sleep, but since I started doing the following I've not really had any trouble:

My parents are nice people, but they split when I was 7. I lived with my mum in the week, and she pretty much just left me to be alone in my room playing games and going on the computer because she was too busy watching telly with her (now ex) boyfriend after work. He worked nights and slept in the day, so I developed a still-persistent habit of keeping quiet and out of the way. He also occasionally took the piss out of me by implying that I was weak/geeky/gay in various ways, and my mum would just laugh it off, so that was another reason to avoid him. It's also worth mentioning I wasn't allowed to go outside without my mum or even walk to school. When I was 13 I was allowed to go to the ends of our street but that was it, and by that point all I wanted to do was stay indoors and be on the computer.
I saw my dad who lived 35 miles away every weekend until I was 16, which obviously prevented me from forming any social ties with kids my age outside of school. He would take me and my sister out places and generally entertain us, which was great and all, and certainly made up for the lack of attention my mum gave us, but it's not exactly parenting. There was no proper discipline, teaching us life skills, making us do chores, concern about our futures, anything like that, from either parent. I didn't even know how to use a toaster or butter a slice of bread until a couple of years after I'd left school.
So yeah, the fact I fell into depression and severe social anxiety, have been NEET for nearly 6 years, am a friendless KHV, and am still completely dependent on my parents is no real surprise. I don't know whether to blame them or not though, I feel like I'm as much to blame, along with various outside influences (such as feminism with divorces and bread-winner mothers, the media with the over-the-top child abduction/rape scares, etc).

From my experience with the mental health services in this country and their alleged "treatments", I will always be of the opinion that they're not worth using, particularly for the various forms of depression and anxiety, and that everyone would be better off working on things themselves while using friends/anons for support/advice. Going down the "official" route always just made things worse for me, going through the process itself is a depressing, demeaning and dehumanising experience.
On another note, if you're at the point of last resorts, have you thought about running away from home? Just packing your bags and fucking off to a far away town, or even a different country? Even if you still feel the need to off yourself, it could be a fun/exhilarating final adventure.

I think it's been great and a net positive overall, obviously there's a large grey area but I think we can stick to a realistic standard as a community.
