I didn't say or imply that it was. I explicitly stated that I support mature discussions on topics such as these, but if you're asking me then I think they're both bad, despite one obviously being more legal than the other. To which degree one is worse than the other is up for debate, but to me, somebody posting about how they love being high all the time, and somebody posting about how they love being drunk all the time, are both equally degenerate, although neither are on the same level as selling your piss.
I'd distinguish between people that do it and think it's great, and people that do it who think it's a problem, and if they're asking for help with cutting down or quitting then by absolutely no means should they be banned.

I think the problem with degeneracy we have is with hedonistic degeneracy, many of us here are autistic or otherwise have social problems which leads to things which can be considered degenerate. The difference being is that we are like that not out of hedonism, just out of being fucked up in one way or another, and I do think that a lot of us are honestly trying to improve, or at least were last time I was here a few months ago. I don't mean to speak for everyone so I would like your thoughts on the matter as well.
