Sadly they fail to understand both of those are protected under the first amendment.
Hate speech is not real. It is only speech others hate.
The only words you cannot say are to incited acts of violence or to danger the masses with your words.

My point exactly.
"Hate speech" is a marketing term.
That is, a new category that was invented for purpose of persuasion.
Marketers have long known that if you make up a term, you gain control over a market.
In this case the market is people's minds and belief system.
>>3851
A flat file is unlike a relational database.
However I don't know what their data mining and machine learning and analysis capability consists of.
These days everybody calls analytical and machine learning software "AI". Familiar with the true definition of AI as it has been proposed in IEEE and scientific literature over the years, I take issue with the terminology.
Just pointing out that Zuck took great care to use the term repeatedly as an attribute of his company. Perhaps for marketing purpose, i.e. "Trust our sophistication"

Marketing making up new words. Automakers are into this.
E.g. there used to be automobiles, sedans, station wagons, buses (like VW bus). Also pickup trucks.
Then they invented Hatchbacks.
Then Sport-Utility Vehicles (SUVs).
And Mini-Trucks.
The company that wanted to create demand for a new category of vehicle invented the term to define something that they, alone, manufactured.
Then they spent a fortune on advertising to create mindshare and consumer desire for these new flavors of vehicle.
All the marketers do it, and have been doing it for a very long time.
[They] weaponize language against us.
Do we solve it by also inventing new terms?
Or by educating people to recognize when words are turned against them?
The education hasn't worked.

Here is a 528-word draft editorial. Feedback and improvements are invited.
UNPOPULAR TRUTHS
An Editorial by Anon
Philosophers have long debated whether there is such a thing as objective truth. Facts are observed by our senses or instruments. Yet human senses can be fooled, and instrumental measurements can be falsified by better instruments.
The American Heritage® Dictionary defines truth as "Conformity to fact or actuality." And it defines unpopular as "Lacking general approval or acceptance." So "unpopular truth" is a contradiction.
Let's say you are driving a car through an intersection when you see a child bicycle across. You MUST take evasive action to avoid a crash. There is no debate over truth, only a child, a vehicle, the potential for a dangerous collision, and hopefully enough time to swerve or brake. In this situation, people share a commonsense understanding of truth.
Or consider a hot stove. Children quickly learn not to touch, or suffer a burn. If this truth became "unpopular", would touching the hot stove suddenly become safe for believers? Obviously not.
So what is an "unpopular truth"? A fact that is disliked by the majority, to the point of rejection.
But truth is unaffected by popularity or unpopularity. We can't make sound judgments without a pool of true facts to reason about. Disliking a fact doesn't make it any less true. Rejecting facts is a characteristic of mental illness.
These days our culture is pervaded by lies that are promoted as true. Language is distorted beyond recognition to support new dogmas. We are told that "men" can have menstrual periods and bear children. That censorship of conservatives by Big Tech isn't censorship, if it serves the interest of globalists. That cross-dressing or surgery changes a person's sex. That burning down a federal courthouse is a peaceful demonstration. That corrupt and demented senior Joe Biden could run the country. That Islam is a religion of peace. And many believe.
Political correctness is a form of intellectual terrorism. Your language must conform to certain false dogmas, or you will be shamed.
But "hate speech" is merely speech that others hate. The First Amendment protects all speech (except for inciting acts of violence or endangering the masses with one's words.): "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."
The political left and their laptop mainstream media parrot their globalist masters' script. Universities and businsses pander to the same ideology. Will incessant repetition gain acceptance for the lies, and unpopular truths be forgotten?
A splinter minority hopes to overrule the silent majority. And if we remain silent, they might. We are angry at being muzzled and demonized for speaking the truth. It is time to become vocal. Our Constitution empowers us with freedom of speech. We need to reject the lies and insist on the truth, in our private interactions and in all public discourse. We need to be loud.
In rejecting "unpopular truths", our society has become mentally ill. Truth is the only cure.

Hoomph ..Really jumps into this part.
I dont think it allows to reader to understand the importance of the section for your narrative. If i am understanding the appeal you are attempting to make.
I think you can elaborate here deeper and have a smoother transition into your main points.
Such as, the Globalist narrative choosing how to rear your children, The ability to raise our children to teach them the correct biological names for their genitalia as well a our personal dogmatic beleifs on Sex and Reproduction, including Cross dressing etc.
Such as, The ability to teach our children right from wrong without the TV mocking us for telling our children RIOTs are not how you solve PROBLEM X, Like is burning down federal etc.
<My descriptive words and transitions are not the best examples, I was trying to give input without writing for you.
<I hope that makes sense.
>>3874
>In rejecting "unpopular truths", our society has become mentally ill. Truth is the only cure.
By homogenizing our view we are no longer embracing the American (Traditional/Unique) values that many generations of Americans have fought to preserve.
< Further drive home that by forcing everyone to accept your view(s) [dogma] you are doing the exact thing they wish others would not. By choosing to identify as an individual rather than part of the collective.

The concept of inversion could be emphasized here. That policies and institutions that were put in place to protect and serve people are being destroyed in exchange for accommodations for exaggerated constituencies.
For instance, your points about cross-dressing and sex change. They don't just want us to support a person's right to cross dress, they want us to allow a cross dresser to read to preschoolers at the local library's story time. They don't just want us to support a person's right to a sex change, they want men to compete in women's sports. In both cases two large groups (kids and women) that were previously protected are now undermined. Kids are being robbed of their right to an innocent childhood, and female athletes that have trained for years are losing their opportunities as men take over their sports.
Just some ideas. The main point is the paragraph above can be crystallized a bit more for greater impact.

1. Why spell PhRMA not Pharma. (Same comment lines 71 and 86.)
10. Is 340B discounts a dollar figure? $340B?
Fix "insulin every month, which the . "
Part 1 - excellent points, clearly expressed.
Part 2 - all true. Writer slices and dices the disingenuous MSM.
Part 3 - Writer explains broad impact of DACA SCOTUS decision on future EOs and its application to these specific drug price EOs. Thoughtful, deep, analysis we never see in the MSM!
Finished review. I like this article very much!
If there are any negative points they are only these:
1) It is long.
2) It switches tone from factual in part 1 to totally editorial/opinion/first person by the end. (This doesn't bother me at all, but it is non-standard in the print media world).
3) You're not finished yet…? The end is not a conclusion. Would a conclusion summarize the entire article in 1 tight paragraph?
Where to publish, medium.com perhaps?
This is really an outstanding work by a fine writer. Congratulations!

P.S. I did not know how drug pricing works. The Medicare Part B 6% commission incentivizing the use of the most expensive drug, the inability for Medicare to negotiate prices, etc. Did know that USA is subsidizing the entire pharma industry's R&D. These explanations are simple and it's good that you emphasize them.
The EOs can be characterized as restoring true free market capitalism to rein in a grossly bloated giant and restore fairness across nations.
The pharma industry and the research labs at the universities contain deep corruption, anon has it from a postdoc acquaintance who worked in the industry for a long time and witnessed infiltration by unqualified Chinese grad students whose goal was to steal others' ideas and results. The person also witnessed cutthroat behavior of longtime US researchers also trying to claim credit for others' work and hopefully get that blockbuster drug that would make them "made men" on patent royalties.
The whole system of perverse incentives cascaded throughout the entire industry. Fixing the medicare reimbursement system resulting in ridiculous product pricing is but one step toward rooting out the corruption, but a necessary first step.

Do you need a comma between Obama and McCain?
What do you all think about breaking it into multiple parts for distribution? This would allow the content to gain momentum with an initial post introducing and describing the problem, followed by each section bringing the reader along. The full piece could be posted on medium and linked to at the end of each part.
Such as:
In part two we'll look at how the press is covering these executive orders. To read the complete analysis, go here. (medium link)
In part three we'll review the legal precedent. To read the complete analysis, go here. (medium link)

Total rewrite. 634 words.
Burning Books One Word at a Time
These days our culture is pervaded by lies that are promoted as true. Daily, the Left introduces new distortions of language to support their latest ideology. The debasement of language is not accidental but purposeful. A insidious agenda underpins this trend.
People cannot make sound judgments without a pool of true facts to reason about. When deprived of facts, the resulting cognitive cage is no less a prison. The subversion of language could enslave our minds. Unless we are vigilant, America could be defeated not with a bang but a whimper.
Children quickly learn not to touch a hot stove, or suffer a burn. If new words were substituted, would touching the burner suddenly become safe for believers? Obviously not. Unpopular truths are facts disliked to the point of rejection. But disliking a fact does not make it any less true. Rejecting facts is a characteristic of mental illness. Liberal ideologues want to prohibit consideration of objective truths that do not fit their agenda. “Unpopular truths” are on the chopping block, to be replaced by new “politically correct” expressions.
The mainstream media parrot their globalist masters' script, while universities and businsses pander to the same ideology. They hope incessant repetition will gain acceptance for the lies, and unpopular truths will be forgotten. We are told that “men” can have menstrual periods and bear children. That victimhood is a noble and desirable condition. And many believe.
Schools, libraries, and other publicly-funded institutions boost the new dogmas. Grotesque transvestites are displayed as role models. Abhorrent sexual practices that our grandparents could never have imagined are introduced to first-graders by mandated “diversity” curricula. How can we teach our children right from wrong, when the TV mocks us for explaining that burning down public buildings and rioting are not good ways to solve problems? Should parents yield control over raising our children to cultural Marxists?
One of the most powerful neologisms is “hate speech”. This category is used to terrorize people into self-censorship. Once an idea is branded “hate speech”, those who speak it can be demonized and even prosecuted under unconstitutional laws. But “hate speech” is merely speech that others hate. Our First Amendment protects all speech: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.” The only exceptions are inciting acts of violence or endangering the masses with one's words.
What is at stake is only our free will, national independence, and right to personal uniqueness. We must not be coerced by “politically-correct” language bullies. We need to embrace the truth. While crying “diversity”, the globalists promote conformity. The trend to homogeneity of thought and language flouts everything that past generations of Americans fought to preserve. A free society is one in which vigorous debate flourishes, not the monoculture of ideas that the Left would compel under the insincere banner of “diversity”.
A splinter minority hopes to overrule the silent majority. And if we remain silent, they might. It is time to become vocal. Our Constitution empowers us with freedom of speech. We need to reject the lies and insist on the truth, in our private interactions and in all public discourse. We need to be loud. We need to overcome our reticence, and speak out. Truth is the only cure.

Here's what happened. It's that magic that we sometimes call intuition. Wrote the 1st draft yesterday and got comments from 3 anons, right? Knew the article needed rewrite and different slant and better focus on key issues. Mulling it over in the back of muh mind. Got up late, I was brushing my teeth or something, thinking about my core issue - the weaponization of language against us - and the phrase Burning Books One Word at a Time popped into my mind. Came back to my desk and realized that was the title for the article.
I swear, it was not my idea. The idea just popped into my head without warning.

I responded to one of the shills. Pathetic.
I ran into a similar dynamic with the You Be The Judge post. Mine was longer which made it worse. After some anons finally looked at it, it got some positive reactions.
Notables are tough and I'm not sure they entirely matter. We should just be prepared to repost articles across multiple shifts as well as off the board.
I think a good format given the ADD nature of the board is to provide the full article as an image or two, and provide a teaser as the post content. I've seen other sites where the teaser is actually the title and first paragraph of the article followed by continued…
That puts the onus on us to write an attention-getting first paragraph, which is the right thing to do anyway.
These are my lessons learned.

when I was younger. I totally don't care anymore, but still don't want to get doxed.
When Q started up, for the first year or so there was a not-sane person we had known in the past, who was stalking us on the chan, who could have caused a lot of trouble. So we had to be really careful until that person went away. Fortunately they were pretty recognizable when they posted.
Just a secondary reason not to get doxed.

Needs some thoughts on this.
Wasn't even aware absentee ballots still existed here. Could this be the answer to the vote-by-mail problem that POTUS has brought up several times?
Emphasis has been on absentee ballot.

Didn't some states pass laws to give all their electoral votes to the nationwide popular vote winner?
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2019/03/16/another-state-signs-popular-vote-bill-that-could-decide-presidential-election/
March 16, 2019 at 7:59 a.m. MDT
Colorado has joined a list of states that plan to allocate their electoral votes to whichever candidate wins the nationwide popular vote.
Gov. Jared Polis (D) signed the measure into law Friday, uniting Colorado with 11 other states and the District of Columbia in the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, whose members pledge to use their electoral votes on whichever candidate wins the national popular vote.
The bill will only take effect, however, if the law is passed by states representing at least 270 electoral college votes, which is the amount needed to win the presidency. With the addition of Colorado, that number now sits at 181.
Other jurisdictions that have enacted the legislation include Rhode Island, Vermont, Hawaii, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, Washington, New Jersey, New York, Illinois, California and the District of Columbia. New Mexico, whose senate approved the legislation earlier this week, could be the next state to join.
Because Republican-controlled legislatures haven’t embraced the effort, changing the electoral college delegate procedures in enough states to reach the 270 combined electoral votes needed to become president could be difficult, Reed Hundt, chairman and co-founder of Making Every Vote Count, told The Washington Post last month. The remaining states where the initiative may pass are smaller and left-leaning, he said.
Under the Constitution, states have the power to determine how they award their electoral votes in national elections. Most states have winner-take-all laws, which award all of its electoral votes to the presidential candidate who receives the most votes within the state. Two states, Maine and Nebraska, split their electoral votes.
Because many states are dominated either by the Democratic or Republican party, the winner of a presidential election is a foregone conclusion in those states. Also because electoral votes are reflective of the representation within the U.S. House and Senate, some states have very large electoral college contingencies, while others are much smaller. As a result, a handful of “battleground” states are where candidates often focus their attention. Still, candidates prefer to win as many states as possible and the popular vote to establish a public mandate for their agendas.
Five of the nation’s 45 presidents have taken office without winning the national popular vote, including Donald Trump. Electoral college losses can be narrow: If Sen. John F. Kerry had 60,000 additional votes in Ohio in 2004, he would have won the election, even though President George W. Bush was 3 million votes ahead in the popular vote.
Because of changes in state demographics, elections are now fought in a tiny number of swing states, Hundt told The Post. In the 2012, 2016 and 2020 elections, nearly 40 states, with about 80 percent of the country’s population, were or will be ignored by both candidates, he said.
"This is a new American demographic, which shows that the electoral system of the 18th century doesn’t work anymore,” he said. “No one at the time the Constitution was written thought that 80 percent of the population would be irrelevant.”
I should know this, but I never saw this compact before:
https://www.nationalpopularvote.com/sites/default/files/one-pager_0.pdf
…"The bill has been enacted into law in 11 states possessing 165 electoral votes, including small states
(RI, VT, HI, DC), medium-sized states (MD, MA, WA), and large states (NJ, IL, NY, CA). The bill will take effect when enacted by states with 105 more electoral votes…."
So it's not in effect yet. I thought it was.

Is it worth engaging?
Problem: Some big Q connected Social Media accounts spreading information that is blatantly false and easily disproved (not Q related).
Misleading some into believing a deception. This is common on the internet in general, and can easily be dismissed by those that can discern.
Solution(s): Provide factual dig evidence disputing the deception head on.
Ignore it smh and move on (allowing people to possibly learn to trust only themselves to find the truth, rather than another popular name/acct).
Not worried about blow-back personally. Mostly the reference is to some famefags that put out bullshit (won't specify which currently).
In the current case it is also an insult to veterans, and good people.

This is a hard choice. Some of us here at /abcu/ are not on socials.
I typically only respond if it is still timely. I will not respond if there is ongoing debate or someone has clarified already (will try to RT or <3).. Do not want to add to the confusion of normies.
OR some are just not worth the time ("bait") other times if I am not able to continue to engage at the time i will just ignore it.
But also can be fun and good for gaining follow count to have that kind of engagement.
Some big accounts just try to be FIRST and it causes them issues. I hope that its a simple mistake on them and they will correct their errors.

>I hope that its a simple mistake on them and they will correct their errors.
They have been pushing it for awhile.
It is a complete and easily (20-30 minute dig) disproved idea.
Most likely because of the fame level of the individual pushing it could blow up.
–
Below
It is imho more about the reason we got into this situation we are fighting against in the first place.
Few stood up and said Bullshit to the big names in MSM, politics, hollywood, and "authority" in general.
Also imho the citizens forgot their duty to be the Balance against tyranny.
My understanding is that the movement is about truth, exposing lies, and teaching people to think for themselves.
Not replacing a failed MSM with another vehicle which may in the end prove the same susceptibility to being compromised.
It is a measure of how awake people are to see so many support a message without researching to see if it has any basis in fact.
It is about right versus wrong.
In general I will engage regardless of name/fame/imagined rank, or other factors.
The problem is doing so may either increase influence or completely devastate it.
Is it worth engaging a falsity and risking influence.

I've thought about this, I don't know. Infighting is a bad look but so is being wrong.
Like the pic on one of these welcome topicals about famous people changing their names.. it's real but I've seen that pic on half chan and looked it up, some of those names are the person's given name and they found a jewish person etc in their family and lilst that as their real name. It makes the whole idea look wrong if it catches on, but a lot of people will think you're a shill if you call them out so it confuses people and Idk if it's helpful. A lot of this shit never makes it out of the circle anyway.

In terms of what to write about, I don't have an agenda.
TRUTH is my agenda.
Have noticed, after writing several short articles for /abcu/, that what usually motivates me to drop all else that I'm doing and write, is when I get mad enough about something. Getting mad is what puts me over the threshhold and impels corrective action, namely writing about it. (Or sometimes memeing about it).
And sometimes I just don't want to get mad so I avoid immersing myself in things that make me mad! Does that make sense? Because we all have strategies to keep our sanity and sense of balance.
When our balance is off, that's when we take corrective actions to attempt to influence others? Some can do this day in and day out (@babyfist! most impressive) and some perform in a more intermittent fashion.
Just my personal introspection on the matter. Your mileage might vary.

And just reading the responses (see there is a reason asked here first) has increased potential avenues of approach by several factors.
It may not even be a huge deal to some. Perhaps a better approach (this thought brough to you by ABCU minds) is a general statement about "Think for Yourself" - "research for yourself" - "Trust Yourself" - "Verify then trust"

Some Dot Com companies were extraordinarily overvalued (in the sense of stock market parlance). They had virtually zero earnings. Their debt-to-equity (D/E) ratio was sky-high and their earnings per share (EPS) was negligible. The ridiculous valuations made no sense whatsoever, in terms of concrete investment metrics. Yet their stock price kept levitating as hot money rushed into the new sector in a speculative frenzy, creating a bubble that kept inflating. Stock market commentary hyping the potential of these companies was everywhere.
The bubble was deliberately created and its entire trajectory planned. It enabled certain insiders to cash out, instant trillionaires. More importantly, it enabled certain individuals and organizations to secure present and future control (utter domination) over a key communications sector. This is especially interesting in light of the known and proven government funding that provided seed capital and promoted the expansion of dozens of key companies in the telecomm sector (think In-Q-Tel, LifeLog,…) Who knows which 3-letter agencies are still entrenched there, burrowed in deeply like a blood-sucking tick and lurking in the shadows while subtly exerting control?
With President Trump's May 28, 2020 executive order declaring internet companies as "publishers" (Section 230) when they use their extraordinary powers to regulate speech and inject their own editorial bias by suppressing conservative speech, we are now seeing the next phase of information warfare play out.
The stranglehold that companies like Twitter, Facebook, Google, etc. had over information flows played a huge role in political victories by the Radical Left, that resulted in the presidency of Barack Obama and the continued domination by leftist governors, left-controlled House of Representatives, etc.
It should never have happened.
Who let it happen? Who caused the Dot Com bubble? Who profited from it (financially)? More significantly, who gained control of information flows as a result? Who planned the takeover of worldwide media?
Will President Trump's order to restore Americans' first amendment right of free speech be effective in returning our society to a more balanced posture, where voices from both the Right and the Left have equal opportunities for debate and discourse?

Cognitive dissonance
Normies are undergoing a severe existential crisis brought about by the co-existence (in an identical but impossibly incongruent space) of two opposing and competing sets of information simultaneously claiming a FACTUAL LABEL - and presented to them by the very people they have traditionally long trusted.
This happens when what appeared to be facts on the ground does NOT MATCH what their TRUSTED long-time Pundits (seen as "Friends") are saying - The traumatized Human mind will go into a powerful existential protective mode in order to maintain even a false sense of sanity - even if it is only to their own minds.
Friends or Loved ones who have long put their trust in the pundits on Mainstream Media and have believed that they are ALWAYS truthful are traumatized Now when it is very clear (to the awakened) that the MSM is lying about literally everything
Meantime, Those who continued to TRUST them - and who simply cannot reconcile all the glaring externally verifiable but contradictory facts with what is being STATED to them Those who cannot fit the glaring contradictory facts on the ground into the same Mental space occupied by the mendacious words of their beloved "Pundits" find their precious but now factually-deficient "World View" forced into an impossible situation sharing the same enclosed space with outrageous Lies and they see only two forms of escape:
One avenue of escape allows them to keep their flagging world view and one will destroy their world view forever and change their lives.
Either they must Lose their religion (and failing world view) and admit to existential devastation and choose to see the truth ( admitting they have been LIED TO) or… They must cling to their failing reality at all costs become completely and insanely BLIND to the obvious. Those whose trauma (or Fear) exceeds their ability to choose the former will descend into cognitive dissonance. They become blind to reality no matter how glaring the incongruity may be or how obvious it is. It is a type of temporary insanity.
It helps (Helps those who love them or those who witness this astounding descent into insanity) to realize that it is actually a sort of CRUDE MENTAL and even spiritual survival tactic and a product of our incredibly creative Human Minds.
For example it would actually serve a severely Traumatized child very well (temporarily at least) - in allowing an innocent child to go through incredibly horrific torture relatively unscathed as far as visible scars go. In fact this type of drastic emergency mental protective measure is precisely described by MKUltra mind control techniques and is understood VERY WELL by those in the Main Stream Media and the Deep State and the CIA. Torture is inflicted on a subject and then a MENTAL "OUT" is provided to the victim by the torturer. The child TAKES the "out" because it is their only means of escape. They can mentally at least – float above their torture.
It is an example of Devils forcing Angels to use a last resort tactic.
We can see DELIBERATE and calculated intentions by the Dark Forces to force people into a state of cognitive dissonance on every single Main Stream Media Newscast. Where the smiling "friendly" icons purporting to be our "Allies" will deliberately state things which even the most cursory examination of facts on the ground proves to be false and yet the LIES are calmly stated with absolute conviction behind masks resembling absolute perfectly manufactured false sincerity. This forces anyone who hangs onto false hope straight into cognitive dissonance which effectively shuts down ANY information contradicting the desired narrative.
Juan on "The Five" with Greg Gutfield (Fox) is a prime example of cognitive dissonance.
And this is exactly the effect intended by those who are deliberately perpetrating the cognitive dissonance.
I'll just leave these thoughts here. Since many people have difficulty understanding WHY so many appear to be insane these days.

Well I find myself diving right down a rabbit hole, inquiring about what oversight exists over the CIA and whether past abuses ("if any") have been rectified. So here goes.. … … … … .
My thesis, if I can prove it, will state:
The dot-com bubble was not an organic phenomenon. From the outset it was planned and executed with a more sinister purpose: the takeover of worldwide media. By whom, you may ask? Did they succeed? This article will attempt to prove that the bubble was deliberately created, and its entire trajectory planned, to give certain highly-placed insiders absolute control over what has arguable become our most key communications sector.
If I can't prove it, then I will change the focus of the article.

I agree with this. My observation is that the dotcom bubble coincided with Y2K. Another manufactured, fear-based crisis that caused the MAJORITY of businesses to update their systems in unison. Think about that. Significant infrastructure expenditures across the Fortune 500 coordinated around a common date.
Not only did this cause spending to be routed to certain "cool" startups to upgrade old legacy based software to new Internet architectures, it also caused synchronicity across companies within each sector making collusion and price fixing easier.
When the bubble burst, everyone blamed the insane multiples assigned to companies with no revenue, but they never tied it to Y2K which was the initial fuel.

Just saw this post.
I think we know the "who" – the elite compromised insiders that manipulate mankind for power and personal gain. +++, ++, +, Yale grads, Harvard grads, Wall Street, politicians, CFR, etc.
Y2K was the fuel for Silicon Valley creating disruption and transferring billions/trillions of dollars from established businesses to tech companies.
The 2008 financial meltdown was another liquidity event that allowed "the players" to move the chess pieces around the board. Lehman Brothers was demolished and Jamie Dimon scooped everything up. (((They))) created the subprime mortgage crisis in order to have a liquidity event. Robber barron playbook.

I have insight about the things technology companies had to do prior to Y2K that I cannot discuss here. Your suspicion is to a large extent incorrect. There were very legitimate concerns, which fortunately got rectified in time. A lot of code was written and deployed. Legacy systems were fixed well in advance of Y2K.

The current battle over social media censorship can be traced back to origins in the CIA’s Project Mockingbird. 'We report, however, that chloroquine has strong antiviral effects on SARS-CoV infection of primate cells. These inhibitory effects are observed when the cells are treated with the drug either before or after exposure to the virus, suggesting both prophylactic and therapeutic advantage. In addition to the well-known functions of chloroquine such as elevations of endosomal pH, the drug appears to interfere with terminal glycosylation of the cellular receptor, angiotensin-converting enzyme 2. This may negatively influence the virus-receptor binding and abrogate the infection, with further ramifications by the elevation of vesicular pH, resulting in the inhibition of infection and spread of SARS CoV at clinically admissible concentrations.'

I have been talking all morning with many people about this.
In no specific order.
#1. Aug 3, @ 11:59 was a Occult Holiday
#2. Nazar might be (is) dead. (Assassination)
Best way to assassinate a big figure is to make it a tragedy and no one will claim assassination.
#3. To detract from GM, JE, BC, HRC.
As many were very over target and the [MSM] would of had to start some kind of coverage soon.
#4. Cover up coverage of new Sex Trafficing and Gun Running bust in Cleveland and Miami.
This is breaking news from today.

The below is Speculation
I believe there were fires started deliberately.
This will mask the incoming strike to finish the job.
The explosions not including the fires. Seem to be in two distinct phases.
1. Is an impact with Black smoke and Fire.
Review videos in >>4183
2. The second explosion is similar to a Tact-Nuke or a DEM closer to tact nuke as the blast seems to emanate from the ground outwards.
Tact nukes are commonly called Bunker Busters as they penetrate the ground and explode in the "EARTH" to reduce the Radiation and the after affects of using Nuclear Bombs.
Thoughts?

None of the videos that I have downloaded and watch frame by frame suggest a strike.
Moar likely is there were munition or massive quantities of explosives.
Compare the explosions with various other explosives (munitions has been closest match).

I missed most of this, as I was writing. Reviewing all the vids captured from QR, what struck me the most was what appeared to be 2 distinct explosions emanating from approximately the same origin. The first one was pale whitish in color and produced sort of a mushroom-shaped cloud which quickly dissipated. The second one was a dense brownish-orange color and seemed to occur in the same location as the first.
As if one explosion happened, and triggered the second one, with an entirely different chemistry. One anon analyzing thought nitrates produce that kind of color.
I don't have much knowledge of these things, just basic chemistry and common sense and reading descriptions of the newer kinds of nuks. Spouseanon speculated that what if a great quantity of rockets had been delivered to the port there and stored in that warehouse, and someone decided they needed to be demolished. That explanation could account for a quantity of high explosives.

Ideally we'd like to have video from two angles in order to triangulate the moving object's distance and position better.
Is it a distant/large missile or a nearby/small insect or bird that just happens to be flying across the field of view?
I really can't tell from video I looked at. Needs frame-by-frame study.
Did the moving object's apparent profile change as it moved (as in, wings flapping)?
Maybe we need to get an app that can decompose MP4 video frame by frame. I can do it for GIFs but don't have the tools for MP4.

> the ground shockwave compared to the shockwave and plume in the videos.
Major difference being the ground has structures to break up the shock wave, think in terms of fluid dynamics.
The video for comparison is structure free, no impediments to flow of liquid (air), thus easier to see.
All are also detonations.
Leaning towards ground delivery explosives. IED, Munitions etc…and fertilizer (nitrate) big bada boom.

Studying the seismic waveform might be instructive. Here's how to do that.
Start here: https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/map/
Locate the event in question on the map and click it. →

M 3.3 Explosion - 1 km ENE of Beirut, Lebanon
2020-08-04 15:08:18 (UTC)33.901°N 35.519°E0.0 km depth
The Beirut, Lebanon explosion was processed using the same basic methods that we use for regional earthquakes. To remove uncertainties in the location associated with seismic methods, we fix the location to the location seen in videos of the blast. Standard methods were used to calculate the magnitude. The reported magnitude is not directly comparable to an earthquake of similar size because the explosion occurred at the surface where seismic waves are not as efficiently generated.
Click Waveform →
1. http://ds.iris.edu/wilber3/find_stations/11282866
Start selecting seismology stations from the table below the map and see what waveforms are available. Presumably the nearest stations would be best (less smear from reflections or topography). That's not always true but that's what I look for first.
2. The Armenia data does not look good. I don't know how they deduced arrival of a wavefront from that mess.
3. The Saudi data doesn't look good either. I would expect to see a nearly flat line prior to the explosion. Instead it looks nearly uniform over time.
4. Kiev data. Again, not what I expected.
So, heck. I give up. Would be necessary to correlate exact timestamp of observers on site, with purported waveform arrival at these stations.
Anyway now you know how I search these things out.

The more and more I watch AFBL IT seems like a paid actor. To play the part of victim [Hence storys (Trans woman, Bakers Union, Ship Crew, etc)] and antagonist [Always attacks MAGA if not Anti China] while claiming to be an authority.

>Rapuano said China and Russia are developing military capabilities, doctrine and organizations intended to place U.S. space systems at risk, including anti-satellite weapons, ground-launch missiles and directed energy weapons. Additionally, he said, they continue to launch experimental satellites that conduct sophisticated on-orbit activities to advance counter-space capabilities.
https://www.defense.gov/Explore/News/Article/Article/1754509/dia-report-details-threats-to-americas-space-based-world/
>China and Russia have developed counterspace capabilities, including ground-based missiles aimed at satellites, jamming of signals to or from satellites, ground-based directed energy weapons, kinetic-kill vehicles, space-based counters and more. “Both China and Russia reorganized their militaries in 2015, emphasizing the importance of space operations,” the official said. China established a strategic support force to integrate its space, cyberspace and electronic capabilities.
>Iran and North Korea have demonstrated satellite jamming and maintain independent space launching capabilities.
>The United States has the most operational satellites, followed by China and then Russia. This United States lead is a challenge to Russia and China, and DIA officials said they expect they will continue to develop counters to American capabilities.
>One threat is a result of the successes in space. “As the number of satellites grows, so does the threats posed by space debris,” the official said. “That makes tracking satellites and discriminating satellites from threats and nonthreats and predicting and preventing collisions more challenging.”

Excellent work.
The only addition you might want to make is to point out Facebook's building 8 and the hiring of Regina Dugan from DARPA to lead these projects.
She went from DARPA, Motorola, Google (Google acquired Motorola), and then Facebook.

At one point anon was a regular NPR listener. Like in the mid-1970s. And avid supporter. Believed in the concept of listener-supported public radio. It sounded so fresh and wholesome and innocent. A counterbalance to the stations that relied on paid advertising, right?

What do you think about a piece on What Is 8Kun and what is QResearch?
Basically lay it out as a free speech board that is (one of) the last place(s) online where people can communicate freely. A group of curious, independent, anonymous thinkers created boards to discuss politics which caught the eye of insiders ultimately leading to /qr/.
With insider guidance, research was done and dots connected. The people frequenting the boards expanded to include attackers of the worst kind. To the untrained eye, it's difficult to identify the original loyal researchers from the attackers whose goal is to suppress the truth using tactics such as gore porn, cp, etc. which is immediately removed. Who would interject themselves with such horrible material on a board for researchers?
Most coverage I've seen so far like the NPR crap answers Who is QAnon? and then they smear us with shill bullshit and misinformation. It might help if we explain the board origin and anon composition (good guys mixed in with bad guys). Nonetheless, the pure Q posts remain unpolluted. Similar to Assange's approach to maintaining the integrity of the wikileaks dataset – the original data is unedited and carefully protected.
We want to place the Q material within the appropriate context so we're not defending crazy unforgivable content that is meant to distract and discredit.
Thoughts?
This could be a great follow-on to the Silicon Valley article. Where were people forced to exchange ideas?

> This is incidental to general conclusion regarding DACA quoted above
insert 'the' → the general conclusion
Is this phrase part of what the SCOTUS decided:
>And under prosecutorial discretion, a president can stop legally stop enforcing any law he wants, completely.
While reading along it is not clear to me if this is the conclusion of SCOTUS, of Yoo, or of JC
→ That is the new precedent that was set.
OK that IS the central point. It must really stand out, and not look like an afterthought at the end of a short paragraph.
This point appears to be key:
→ In a roundabout way, Section 706 has just been rewritten. Presidents can sign executive actions that contradict laws established by Congress and go against the Constitution, and the APA will no longer be bound to “hold unlawful and set aside” these actions: to the contrary, they have been prohibited from doing so.
Very interesting. I learned a lot.
So the baffling SCOTUS decision appears to do the opposite of how it has been characterized in the press, giving the Executive a tremendous hammer to disregard any law passed by congress. Wow.
POTUS has continued to claim the decision gives him much greater power than presidents have had before. You explained why that is so!
Now I'll look at the 2nd link.
Thank you JC. Those who analyze and write and explain are a treasure.

Care to discuss Sgt B's latest? My thoughts in
<pink. Feel free to ignore or disagree.
‘First quality: you are capable of great things, but you must never forget that there is a hand guiding your steps. We call that hand God, and He always guides us according to His will.’
<Remember that God guides us according to His will
<But we have free will!
<And if God were 100% guiding us, then it would not be necessary to use the eraser to rub out mistakes!
<If mistakes happen that need erasing, don't blame God for them!
<We CAN let God guide us and get in tune with God's plan, but not everybody is guided by God.
<But God uses bad men and good men to accomplish his purposes. (e.g. Nebuchadnezzar in the Bible)
‘Second quality: now and then, I have to stop writing and use a sharpner. That makes the pencil suffer a little, but afterwards, he’s much sharper. So you, too, must learn to bear certain pains and sorrows, because they will make you a better person.
<Bearing pains and sorrows will make you a better person
<Why people have to suffer, in order to learn and grow, and to play a role in God's plan, which may involve things that need to happen to others so THEY in turn can learn and grow.
‘Third quality: the pencil always allows us to use an eraser to rub out any mistakes. This means that correcting something we did is not necessarily a bad thing; it helps to keep us on the road to justice.’
<Correcting something we did helps keep us on the road to justice
<Acknowledge mistakes, correct them, move on
<Justice for ourselves, or justice for others?
<A path that will deliver justice is not necessarily a straight line path. It may have wrong turns that get solved. Keep reorienting yourself according to a compass point called Justice.
<Secondary: ]we[ are on the road to justice but ]we[ had to change the plan in order to get there?
‘Fourth quality: what really matters in a pencil is not its wooden exterior, but the graphite inside. So always pay attention to what is happening inside you.’
<We should introspect.
<A person's spirit and character are of more significance than their physical exterior. The spirit is more significant than the meat-wrapper it is wearing.
‘Finally, the pencil’s fifth quality: it always leaves a mark. in just the same way, you should know that everything you do in life will leave a mark, so try to be conscious of that in your every action”
<Be aware that your actions in life leave a mark
<A mark on you. A mark on others. A mark on the environment. A mark on the timeline.
<Contradicts eraser maxim?
<Secondary: Understand karma. Action and reaction. Cause and effect. Indelible upon the akashic record.
<Even though you made a mistake and "erased" it by making a difference choice, the timeline in which that mistake occurred still exists.

The Pencil:
1) Don't succumb to ego. Reminds me of the scene in Indiana Jones, "Only the penitent man will pass." Followed by his wise choice of selecting the simple chalice.
2) Buck up. I suspect most here are already used to this.
3) Don't succumb to ego. Shake it off. It's not about you.
4) Follow your heart. Stay aligned.
5) Have reverence for the role being played.

JC's article explaining how the SCOTUS DACA decision gives the POTUS tremendously more executive power than before, to disregard existing laws or make new mandates that cannot easily be overturned except through protracted litigation, is very timely right now. JC was going to add some references then we can publish?
Where does POTUS get all the funding? (Re: today's news conf.) He can simply disregard spending laws passed by Dems and not spend allocated funds, and use the funds for more important purposes.

Playing with animated gifs per warroom request. If anons happen to notice one, any feedback is appreciated. Particularly:
Timing of slide transition
# of slides
Resolution looks okay?
Goal: Quick & dirty animations without the trouble of making a full MP4. Once we're comfy with the concept and if social media anons like to use them, we can design still images especially for the animated medium.

'Global scandals now labeled Russiagate, Spygate, and what President Trump calls “Obamagate” shook the political world, but hit me closer to home. I’m the reason the so-called FBI “spy” at the center of Spygate, Stefan Halper, met Carter Page, the alleged “Russian Asset” in Russiagate’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation.
On May 19, 2018, this realization blindsided me in London as I was about to fly out for my wedding. The New York Times, NBC News and other sources had outed my PhD supervisor, Stefan Halper, as a spy known to the UK’s MI6 intelligence service as “The Walrus.”
It didn’t seem real. Could a former professor I once trusted as a mentor have betrayed his word, profession, and country to start these disasters? I had moved to England to pursue an academic career and leave DC’s politics behind, only to have my PhD supervisor throw me back into the most outrageous political firestorms I could imagine. Just my luck. Then an even worse question began nagging at me. Did I unintentionally light the match that started it all?
As I started to piece together what happened over the next few months, I realized something. The stories that The New York Times, Washington Post, and others were pushing didn’t add up. Many seemed planted to cover up or advance the agendas of several individuals whose tentacles secretly ran through these scandals, and who each had longstanding ties to intelligence services like the FBI, CIA, and MI6. I call these individuals the Cambridge Four.
Strangely, all four were linked through that sleepy British academic town thousands of miles from the alleged “ground zeroes” of Russiagate’s conspiracies, Moscow and DC. In addition to the central “Spygate” figure Halper, they include the central source of “Russiagate’s” fake conspiracy theories, Christopher Steele; former MI6 Director Sir Richard Dearlove; and Halper’s and Dearlove’s partner in a Cambridge Intelligence Seminar linked to titillating — but false — tales of a “Russian spy” seducing Trump’s top national security advisor. My years of work with Halper provided an inside view of how their four networks interconnected. The more I dug up new pieces of this puzzle, the more I saw how these individuals’ seemingly separate acts might fit together in an absurd picture of how these scandals really started.

What i'm doing. Yesterday started a new long-term project to put the meme archives into a photo database on my local system. The purpose is to explore whether this will be helpful to reject memes that are useless, rate the best memes ★★★★★ so they are easier to find, and classify all memes (eventually!) with multiple tags.
What triggered this: Been seeing the value of doing this for a long time. Recently, wanted to make some animated gifs from memes, for warroom anons & everybody to use. There are excellent memes in the warehouse that I'd like to use for this, but can't find them easily. I come across them "by accident" when searching for something else, then lose them again.
Tired of losing stuff that anons made that is great.
Will be a back burner task that hopefully can go to completion and become useful.
So today I'm deleting old tags (metadata) that came along with stock photos people used for memes, clearing out the tag data so I can start applying my own tags that will help with retrieval by topic.
Eventually, when the collections are in good shape, it should be possible to output new versions of tagged meme collections, with tags readable by anons' various photo apps. (Most people have a photo app pre-installed on their device, right?)

Vols, keep our eyes peeled. Have had to delete a couple of threads that were created here for no obvious purpose other than spam. /abcu is starting to be noticed a little bit moar. If they create a thread out of ignorance that's one thing, we talk nice to them and invite them over to Welcome if they want to chat. If they create a thread deliberately flaunting /abcu/ policy that a thread must be labelled as topical or general to govern its intended use, with a meaningless title, then it's spam.

Testing the Live stream in like 10 mins.
Using Restream to stream on all platform simultaneously we will see how it works.
This is just the starting point.
All can be upgraded and updated to the needs we have.
This setup to be tested is for live content.
There are some other screens I will not be testing for recorded content as well.
Should be live on:

twitter (via periscope): https://twitter.com/ABCU_8

The Laptop I am using is a bit underpowered.
My PC is currently down. Mobo fried.

I have another PC I can use (Its not mine.. and Its not in the office.)
I was trying to keep everything in 1 place…
Either way. The Scenes are ready and working as intended.
The test I did later ran more smoothly but we are still getting encoding lag and Hardware lag.

Yeah this board developed a factual flavor, which seems good to nurture in light of the "true news" mission.
Yet, anon has some connection with some of these other matters you brought up (pic related). The many things that are subjectively true but don't reconcile objectively. You may recall when the board started (cbts era maybe?) there were some esoteric threads. Interacted with someone who was into certain things, that I also had experienced. It was like they knew something in my background that they should not have known. I will not discuss it as Cee in order to avoid dox. Might discuss it as anon.

I think we'll see a revival when big names start getting arrested. Until then people are fatigued and nothing is happening, anyway not publicly. Theyre STILL working on the Flynn case, ok I get why, but there's not much to see and talking about the other side of the curtain and being wrong about it over and over (remember JFK Jr coming back in October) is unrewarding. Not trying to be negative but that's what I think is happening, it's not really negative IMO because I think they;'ll be back.

It is interesting. Fragmenting across platforms to spread the message, avoid shills, and in some cases focus on raising their own profiles (some good, some bad). Then reconnecting when booted off but the dynamic has changed in the meantime. Evolutionary.
We may be approaching a period of darkness as well and will have to connect in other places.
