LDD still exist, but it wasn't Minecraft that stole it's thunder (Hell, Lego now has their own Minecraft Clone called Lego Worlds).
It was the poor business that the "Design by me" did, Lego just wasn't making enough off of direct to customer custom orders to warrant keeping it around.
