BO here. I claimed the board shortly before 8chan died in the hopes of not only reviving the board but creating a viable alternative to hellhole that is 4/toy/. After 8chan died /animu/ hosted us on their bunker, where /toy/ has been ever since. I requested this board to be migrated so lost soldiers could find where we are and so we can at least archive the many great threads we have over here. Even back then I realised 8kun would not be the place for our community to thrive, and so I have decided to instead keep us on the webring so that we can not only continue but grow as a community. However as I locked the board and left a post up redirecting us to our new home, I was removed as BO of this board. Since then 8kun has continued to bleed users and has became less and less like the 8chan we knew, all while Jim and Ron become increasingly less transparent and the site still isn't functional. There's been a mass exodous of 8kun users over the past couple of weeks and it looks like the death of this site will be soon. In short, there is no room for growth on 8kun and I don't want the board associated with rabid qtards - we're a board for discussing toys, not fringe politics or conspiracy theories. I won't be claiming this board as I believe the best thing for the community is to remain whole and move to our aforementioned new home. Hope to see all of you guys on /toy/'s new home.
