Hey BO, while the board finally seem to back on track with new threads, posts and being added to the /dir/ list, looks like things turning bad again.
How do we get more people to post here? Where else should we try to advertise?
The halfchanners are so used to the shit moderation and keep believing the false stereotypes about 8chan or they don't want to come because the board is dead which circle that keep feeding itself.

Man, I wish I knew. I try advertising on 4chan without being obnoxious or derailing the thread, but mods are instantly on my ass and I'm given bans pretty much straight away. Meanwhile spammers are getting away with derailing threads and spamming the catalog.

I agree with you there, but I don't know of anywhere else. Other imageboards are devoted to specific hobbies/interests that rarely come under /toy/ (such as anime, manga, etc) so advertising on other alt chans is pretty pointless. The only other places I can think of are forums and the like, but users there aren't interested in joining imageboards and 8chan's reputation isn't exactly great.
I enlisted us in the attention hungry games over on >>>/sudo/ and we came 2nd, but unfortunately there aren't any prizes for second place! I guess advertising on other relevant boards here on 8chan is all we can do for now.
