I think anybody that puts themselves out there in that fashion has to be aware they're bound to get attention of that kind (fetish or otherwise) and has to be cool with it to some degree. Furthermore, saying that drawing your self-insert like that is out of line is only going to make it more enticing to some people, so that's not really even a viable option. So, if they're aware of the way things work on the internet, they probably look the other way and don't let it bother them. And that's why it doesn't bother me.

Contrary to popular opinion, I do think that they're entitled to feeling disturbed by unsavory art of their character. I would be uncomfortable if my OCs had art drawn of them for a different fetish, for instance.
I guess they can't really do anything about it, but they're not really giant corporations; they're normal strangers. It's sensible to try to get permission, or remove the artwork if they themselves come forward expressing their discomfort.
That said, it's sooo hot, like forbidden fruit

My rule has always been "ask first." Even if it was a pic that I uploaded to here and here alone, eventually it might make its way back to the creator. That could cause a whole lot of problems and I don't want that.
This is also why I try to become friends with the person first, it's easier to ask when you're actually their friend as opposed to just being some random sperg on FA or something. Even so, I don't hit them with the question off the bat, I make it pretty clear to them the type of commissions I get and I ask if they would be interested in appearing in them.
If they say no, that's the end of it. There's more important things than porn.
So to go back to the question OP asked, the "morality" of doing such a thing falls into a grey area, but on which side you fall depends on your own values and beliefs. My stance is that I want everyone involved to know of and approve of what's going on, but not everyone is going to be the same way.

I don't see any moral issues whatsoever, but I'm trying really hard to find the correct word to describe it without saying 'cringe' but I just can't come up with anything better. I's so embarassing that seeing other people do it makes me feel uncomfortable from second-hand embarassement, that's literally cringe.
If I had to make a scale of how much, I'd say it's less embarassing than making photoshops of political figures getting tickled, but more embarassing than giving egirls money. Now here's where it gets tricky, I don't know how embarassing it is compared to photoshops of non-politics related celebrities getting tickled, so for now I'll say just about the same, but the jury's still out on that one.

I suppose it's not much different from creating fetish content of fictional characters portrayed by real actors, but there's still something weird about it. It feels uncomfortably close to those people who post photos of ordinary girls ripped from Instagram or Facebook to porn blogs and lewd DA accounts. It's probably just due to my mental double standards where I just give a pass to fapfiction about A-list celebrities, top athletes or models with huge audiences, but cringe to people publicly fantasizing of local newscasters and such.
Maybe my mind just assumes that bigger the celebrity the more natural it is sexualize her, idolizing caveman part of the brain in action.

There shouldn't be any morality question here. Those people made their characters to be cute and eye-catching - they're made attractive for people to like them, porn being made is just a natural consequence wether they like it or not.
Same can be said for all cartoon characters, who are nothing but the creator's OCs, but popular on a larger scale than any dA faggot.

How many times have you fantasized about tickling a real person that you know? How many "regular" people have fantasized about fucking their attractive friends? Like someone else in this thread has said, these avatars ARE designed to be attractive. As sad as it may seem, a cute or appealing avatar will draw in some people who might not have been interested otherwise. So when you have an appealing design in anything, even if it's meant to represent someone, people are gonna wanna explore the space. Just be cool about it. I've seen some stuff where people show their tickle-based artwork to a content creator in the hopes that they'll reveal that they think it's cute and they're into it, but that'll never happen. Just treat their avatar like any other character and don't let it bleed into your interactions with the real actual person.
And of course if they actively say "no, I don't want this specific kind of fanart to happen", then yeah maybe just close that box because when someone says "don't do this" and you keep doing that, you are actually the asshole. But on the other hand of that, if they don't specifically call out stuff like this, then don't go around telling people that they've denounced that kind of fanart either. I've seen people try to say something like "Jaiden says not to do this because she thinks it's weird" and then they link to something entirely different that they've misconstrued to fit their narrative. As in all things, just be cool about it, keep it to our community, and if someone tells you to stop, just be nice and stop.
