Alright /tg/, somewhat new player here, looking for some ideas on what I could do with an item.
My character, a level 6 Dragonborn Paladin, has a vial of dragon blood and a dragon's heart, both of which were obtained from a young green dragon (Lost Mines of Phandelver). My character lives in Neverwinter, but is going on an adventure for the CoS campaign.
Point is, I was wondering, what use could I have for a vial of dragon blood and a dragon heart? I was thinking I could have someone forge them into a shield or armor to make them even stronger, but would that work?
Thoughts? Advice?

Well they are body parts so unless you want to eat/drink them not much because the blood will spoil within hours and the heart within days.

That's something you should ask your DM. My first guess is he's expecting you to consume them since you're playing a dragonborn so he can have some magical bullshit happen to you, but I also don't know anything about your DM or LMoP. On that same line of thought, you could ask about using them in a potion. At the very least he might let you make something to resist poison or a very strong poison, if not giving you a free use of your breath.

Have you considered ripping out your heart and replacing it with the dragon's?

>a dragon's heart
How would that work as an onahole?
>dragon blood
so you already have lube, that can't hurt.
When your GM stares at you and asks 'what the hell did you just do' tell him that the magic should rub off on your cock and that the load you just blew into the heart has a decent chance of turning into a loyal draconic child.

I would try cutting a heart from random hobo and implanting him with hearth of a dragon for shits and giggles. You can easily succeed as long as you have some healing potion and a way to put him into light coma. he just need to survive for a while without hearth, you can freeze him a little for that. Than simply replace his hearth with hearth of a dragon and pour healing potion all over him so he will heal to full. You might mix potion with dragon blood because why not?
And if that works you can implant yourself with it. Also 2 hearths is better than one.

Use the Dragonblood to extend your lifespan as a Juicer.
Wait.
I remember that there was a Dragon Magazine that gave instructions on what you could use Dragon Body Parts for. I remember there was even a method to turn a Dragon corpse into a longboat that could still use its breath weapon.
Ask your GM if you can use it for anything. At the very least, you might be able to get away with using the heart/blood as magical components.

If nothing else, you could always sell both. I would imagine that an alchemist would pay a good price for a vial of dragon's blood, if not a heart.
