Not samefagging, but I thought about it.
>Usually doesn't make eye contact
>Speaks at an inappropriate volume all the time
>has a shit diet
>has obsessions with certain topics
Did I miss anything?

Is any one of the mercs non-autistic? Scout perhaps, as at least he's self-aware of his social failure, and you could attribute demo's oddities to crippling alcoholism and the things that come with it.
A better question, is anyone on this board non-autistic?

What this guy said.

Scout's just a fuckboy, honestly. Spy is probably the least autistic out of all of them, but he's still a sociopath. Plus he's French.
>A better question, is anyone on this board non-autistic?
>playing TF2 in 2015
You tell me.

As >>3339 and >>3340 said, all of the mercs are likely on the spectrum. They're all sociopaths and/or idiots. Lets go through them one by one, shall we?

>Scout
Enormous narcissist and liar, probably has something to do with Scout's own insecurity, especially being the youngest in a family of 8, plus a lack of a father figure which seems to have made him somewhat effeminate. He doesn't seem to be stupid on the level of Soldier, but is ignorant and somewhat dense.

>Soldier
As mentioned, probably an autist, generally just very stupid and apparently unaware of the consequences of his actions. However, some (or all, judging by the other residents of Teufort) of this may have to do with lead poisoning.

>Pyro
Probably schizophrenic, though the reaction to Smoulders makes me wonder if Pyro is at least somewhat aware of its actions

>Demoman
Honestly one of the more "normal" mercs
>Holds three jobs
>Cares for his blind, elderly mother
>Doesn't squander his income, lives in luxury
>Friendly, cooperative, loyal, and patient
Demo's only issues seem to be alcoholism and being enough of a sociopath to murder for a living. He does have some sort of fetishistic attitude towards weapons, if his reaction to the Eyelander is anything to go on, but even that isn't enough to get him to murder his friend (only the belief that Soldier has already betrayed him gets Demo to seriously consider the offer).

>Heavy
Heavy, too, leans towards a more "normal" attitude, at least off the field. Heavy is shown to work primarily to care for his family, and demonstrates a moral code when the only thing to convince him to come back to the U.S. is the promise of destroying "bad men". However, he seems to relish in battle and violence, especially dominating weaker opponents. Plus he has a strange fixation on his gun, so there's that. His interactions with the other mercs off the field are minimal and he doesn't talk much, though this may be due to sheer annoyance at the stupidity of some of the others since lines in Poker Night at the Inventory claim that Heavy has a PhD. in Russian Literature, but it could be plain indifference.

>Engineer
Again, the Engineer seems outwardly amicable and is obviously very intelligent, he just has a fixation on guns and killing. Perhaps he just likes being the best at what he does and upholding his family name, though his grandfather was shown to be very dedicated so it may be that Dell is the same. He doesn't seem to have strong reactions towards anything, but shows general concern and respect towards anyone who isn't an ouright enemy. Pic related is the only time in the comics he gets any sort of angry, though even here it's more of a quiet rage.

>Medic
Now medic is a fuckin psychopath, plain and simple. No apparent regard for human life, instead seeing people as things to test on. Gleefully sadistic in the field, and a traitor to boot (unless upcoming comics show this not to be quite the case). But his mad scientist attitude remains clear in either case.

>Sniper
Sniper is at the very least a sociopath, and seems somewhat paranoid. He wasn't above sedating and potentially torturing/murdering his colleagues to get information he wanted, but most of his actions seem guided by practicality and efficiency. If it works, do it, regardless of how moral (or immoral) it may be. He's capable of normal conversation and certainly isn't dumb, just willing to do whatever needs to be done.

>Spy
Spy is like Sniper in that he likes to maintain an atmosphere of professionalism, and is guided by efficiency regardless of morals. Spy is arrogant, though arguably justifiably so, and impatient. He shows little emotion other than annoyance and anger most of the time, and when he does show joy, it's mostly sadistic. It mostly seems he thinks of the others as either idiots or freaks, though is generally a sociopath like the rest, really. Pic related is one of the few times he shows any respect towards a fellow merc, even if it is short lived.

Ultimately, though, all of this only goes to show that the most autistic part of tf2 has, is, and always will be the fans, who will waste an entire hour of their own time writing half-baked psychological analyses of fictional video game characters on a relatively obscure image board at two in the morning for no discernible reason and certainly at no gain for themselves simply because someone asked, "Is the soldier an autist"
Goodnight, everybody.
