What works for me is just convincing myself all I have to do is make as many focused and heavy shots as I can before the uber runs out. It accomplishes more than panicking and firing off 33% more rockets / pills, because I'm able to focus on shit like sentry nests, and honestly as a medic main if you just break up a sentry nest and nothing else with an uber I'm happy. Hell, even if you don't accomplish anything I don't really mind. I'll make more ubers.
