Yeah, so long as you don't need networking. Because it has none.
But then again, if your computer has a real serial port (or if you can add one, like with a PCI I/O card), it should be possible to code simple driver and terminal program. Think of stuff like Minicom, but also the even simpler Unix "tip" and "cu" programs.

It was designed to be God's temple, not your "basic OS". It was clear when God asked for it to be 16 colors and limited resolution, which would make it unreliable to be used as a "main" OS. It was never its objective.
