>enable sticky keys in xfce on Ubuntu
>reboot
>sticky keys gets disabled
>have to check and uncheck the box to make it work again

Even the old /tech/ was dying, so I wouldn't hold out for that. Community size isn't everything though, I saw /g/ throughout this month during AoC, and it was a really sad state, even for them. Who knows where everyone went. 4chan is crap, reddit is full of faggots, and the glow niggers managed to splinter 8chan's user base into a thousand pieces and scatter it to the winds.

old tech was utter schizo garbage. I only miss the few threads that actually had any tech-related merit and weren't flooded by /pol/ rejects. Without strict moderation, I doubt new /tech/ will fare any better tbh.

Looking for a new goyphone, but all the new ones are absolute trash. I'm looking for one that MUST have
>physical main/home button
>half-decent camera (I would take one that's only 1080p but actually looks good)
>screen big enough for VR
>Easily upgradable battery and storage with no special tools or experience needed
>Unlocked bootloader for installing custom ROMs
Right now I have a Galaxy S4 but it's starting to show its age, the custom ROM I have makes it run very hot and the battery life is not that impressive even though I've had it for only a year.

was this language named to be unattractive to Pajeets?
>Couldn't see any other comments about it, but close to a third of Indians are vegetarian not to mention all of us who don't partake in meat for various reasons (ethical, environmental, health etc). Unless the goal was to appeal to the anti-PC crowd, perhaps a more welcoming name?

It's been over a year since i've messed with a cell phone and never knew much about them anyways. it used to be you could buy a burner for $20 bucks that came with minutes/texts that also didnt expire every 30 days.
does this still exist?
walmart wants 20-30 for a phone and then 40 (with tax) every 30 days just to be able to text.
i am a vpn user that cannot get on: twitter, youtube, skype, periscope etc etc without providing a cell number so they can text me, which is all i need this for. none of the "free sms texting" sites have ever worked for me.
what is the cheapest solution here? a burner for 55 up front then 40/month? or is there some online text service that actually works? all i need is to verify accounts to get on social media sites.
apologies for such a basic question

No they're trying to be quirky.
>public static void Main()
>braces and semicolons
Looks like this language has nothing new to offer both syntactically and semantically, which should appeal to Pajeets

Is there any way in C++ to call a parent's function from an instance of a child class, that is, not from any definition within a function of the class itself, but directly when using that object.
Reason I'm asking is I'm taking this C++ class and whoever made this piece of shit class (Think it was Stroustrup himself, actually) I'm using did something very stupid in naming a variable the same thing as a function in the base class. If I try changing it around, I get linker errors. I suppose I could just recompile it all from source, but that seems like a lot of work for something so trivial. I could also just inherit my own class from it similarly and not be dumb, but that's also more work than a way to explicitly call the function.
Talking about Fl_Window's w() function, and Graph_lib::Window's w variable for the interested.
