I think it's okay, maybe even bordering good, but the crypto currency bullshit will keep it from sniffing any semblance of mass adoption it could've gotten from people getting exhausted with youtube.
I'm also waiting for what they are going to do if/when people start uploading cp there en masse.

Decided to give it another go and UI looks much better. Solved bloat in my SSD problem too. Turns out what was taking up space was the data that's used for you to share what videos you have downloaded with your peers. Created a symbolic link from .local/share/lbry/lbrynet/blobfiles to my bigger hard drive and problems seems to be fixed
