Most likely a girl. They're probably gonna pull a Phasma to show how progressive they are by not putting a woman in feminine armor again. I get it, revealing armors are absolutely haram in this day and age, but for fuck's sake at least give her a feminine breast plate like all mandalorians before this one had. Phasma was a fucking mistake on all grounds.
And if its not a girl, it may be a black dude or a tranny. And if its not any of those, then he may be gay.
Also where's his ID scanner? How's he supposed to scan potential bounties without one?

I fucking hate this clean yet "scratched" aesthetic. Compare it to Boba's costume. It actually looks old and tattered with actual dirt on it while being unpolished, yet a lot of the costumes in the new films are shiny and clean as fuck but have these unconvincing spray paint markings to simulate dirt, scratches and smudges while the cloth in their outfits are perfectly clean and look brand spanking new. Look at the thugs from TFA on the right. They're supposed to be dirty and tattered yet their helmets shine like dishes with clean spots that shouldn't even be their if we're to take those poorly painted on smudges as a sign of wear and tear. Even their suits look like they designed to look dirty rather than making shitty-looking suits to throw in the dirt. They make this crap from scratch rather than using cheap resources already available from any store that can help strengthen the immersion. But no. The suits the red fuckers probably costs thousands to make… Also fuck that stupid O-shaped eyehole or whatever the fuck that's supposed to be.

Honestly you can say this about any scene from nu-Wars that doesn't have the Falcon or some other nostalgiabait in the background. They completely failed to capture the aesthetic, it all looks like generic dirty sci-fi. It's not like it's even that hard a look to capture, every single piece of visual media that came before, from dozens of creators, was able to pull it off.

I don't know, man. I haven't seen anything by Favreau beyond the Iron Man movies, and I always liked those. And out of all the people making shit for Disney Wars, Filoni is arguably one of the more competent ones. And at least he has some superficial respect for the EU. Of course, none of that says a whole lot.

Favreau made Jumanji and Zathura. Aside from those and the first Iron Man, there's not a lot of "quality" in his work. Zathura while enjoyable was just Jumanji in space.
>>22441
>Filoni is arguably one of the more competent ones. And at least he has some superficial respect for the EU. Of course, none of that says a whole lot.
Filoni is a pushover who does whatever his higher ups tell him too. Even after George left Clone Wars for a bit, Filoni was still too chicken shit to do anything that would piss him off, like bringing back sith ghosts. Filoni's respect for the canon is incredibly superficial and doesn't go beyond Zahn novels and Wookieepedia articles. And when finally "unleashed" for Rebels, he still restricted himself to Disney lore and standards as best he could and when finally given partially complete control, we saw just how mediocre his work can be, as Rebels was just a mediocre mess after season 1. The only reason I have any hope for the final season of Clone Wars coming out soon is the vein hope that everyone from the original Clone Wars is involved since it was clear that at least some of them actually knew about the EU and cared about quality without bending over to Lucas on a whim, like Justin Ridge.

He put Thrawn in his shittu series. Sure, it was a botched version of Thrawn, but at least he didn't try to sweep the EU under the rug like the rest of Disney Wars did. Sure, it wasn't exactly a love letter, but it was more then nothing. Hence superficial.

This. Its basically the Luke treatment and then he writes off Thrawn (and even his own OC Ezra) in the worst way imaginable. I'd honestly be happier if Disney stopped fucking with the EU and just stick to their own horrible new canon and ride that shit to the ground. These new mandalorian series has me worried. It seems pretty big budget and Disney really hasn't invested in anything this heavily unless it was tied to the OT or Kennedy's agenda somehow.

quality favreau consists of his work with vince vaughn and iron man, that's about it. also he did not make jumanji, but you are right about zathura being jumanji in space, but that's more of the author's fault.

stop defending rebels, you're giving us sheevposters a bad rep. alternatively keep your shit opinions but change your flag, we don't want your autism associated with us. thrawn in rebels is straight up snidely whiplash, a mustache-twirling moron who hatches a brilliant scheme but gets foiled in the end because reasons. this is more cancerous than grievous' retcons in 3d clone wars, which also reduced him to snidely whiplash.
while the two are similar, the thrawn revision is more insulting since grievous was made to be a cartoon shit from the get-go, thrawn was a serious figure.

from what i remember, this show is set not long after return of the jedi, which means they'll do a carbon copy of boba fett but still have boba fett in limbo for whatever retarded reason they have, unless one of the reveals in this show is that this new mandalorian is an apprentice to fett or something. hell, the picture is clearly tatooine, which all the more implies fett's return.

Nah. Disney probably realized they let the whole of Lucasfilm be run by complete fuck ups who drove it into the ground and probably don't want to risk them doing to Boba Fett what they did to Luke and the rest. That would repel what few devoutly loyal "hardcore" flies they have left hovering over the corpse of SW. Normalfag flies are just hovering in the distance preferring to rummage through the garbage than risk being poisoned by another tainted meal from the corpse, yet they remain within distance of the corpse in the vain case that it might become less toxic to their diet eventually (in other words they're awaiting the release of IX which will truly decide the future of this shitty franchise).

Yes, just like how they wanted Solo and Resistance to fail miserably. For fuck's sake m8. Lucasfilm has no idea what it wants to do anymore. They're like a headless chicken running around slowly dying and without a clue.

Last batch of shit. Also forgot to mention in the last post that the alien is just a recycled costume from one of the shitty aliens in TLJ. So expect little to no familiar faces in this shitty new series. Tatooine is implied to be making a return but some actually claim its Jakku.

That's a bit extreme. The Holiday special is a poorly edited mess, yes. However if edited correctly and each segment treated as its own separate media, its actually pretty good. Remove the more dull scenes like Lumpy walking on the balcony and the wookiees talking in excess along with the celebrity cameos, and it becomes a short and sweet thanksgiving special with some imperial conflict. The animated segment is also great on its own rather than being a part of the special. The celebrity segments would work better as a sort of compilation like the books often did, for example Tales from the Cantina.

The black guy from the first Rocky movie (the one who died against Ivan Drago) is going to be in the Mandalorian. From what I've gathered, he will be not-Boba's father or master. And yes, not-Boba will be black, which is why they're using a shitty OC rather than Boba himself. They want a diversity hire but they're too scared to race-swap Boba due to not wanting to piss off old fans but they still want to pander to their shitty political values.

Not enough asians in the US give a damn. They love black cock almost as much as white soyboys since the majority of them are concentrated in California. The non-pozzed ones could pretend they're offended for the sake of causing controversy and fucking over Disney, but they'd end up on a lot of shit lists since SJWs are less scared of going after asians than they are blacks or gays.

>since SJWs are less scared of going after asians than they are blacks or gays.
there's a reason the Left is racist towards Asians: as a minority group, they don't fulfill the role assigned to them by identity politics. minorities are supposed to embrace perpetual victimhood, gibs, and social dysfunction so they can become useful slaves to the Democrats, as well as proof that everything is the fault of those racist nazis oppressing everyone else. but the Asians don't play along – instead, they work hard, follow laws, assimilate, and succeed. their existence defies the political ideology of the Left, which pisses them off to no end. if you're a minority and you're not willing to shuck and jive, get ready to become an 'honorary white person' and thus part of the enemy.

Makes sense. Still, I'm optimistic in that the Mandalorian will fail purely because its a Disney Plus exclusive. No way will normalfags fork over more cash for a netflix knockoff when Netflix plus free streams and torrents already offer far more variety. If it were on TV, it might stand a chance, but Disney fucked up big this time with this choice. Also this Disney Plus shit would explain why so many marvel shows are getting cancelled on Netflix. Disney is desperate to make sure their streaming site is the only place where you can watch Marvel shit. Man 2019 is gonna be a hell of a salt storm.

Yep. But now he's not exactly Apollo Creed anymore. Any role they put him in will just be degrading. Also, if he dies right before this show airs, it'll seem awfully suspicious. A lot of people would feel encouraged to watch it just to honor him. Much like RO.

boba already isn't white, raceswapping him would be pointless. the reason we aren't getting daniel logan in any new media is disney doesn't want to touch the prequels outside of the games and comics.

I didn't like that and I'm sure many others didn't like the Clone troopers & Boba Fett being turned into some part abo (I'm one of those that liked the original gruff Boba Fett voice on the OT as well) however Lucas did not throw the diversity in your face like disney does nor did he have a policy of purposely omitting white male leads from his film to push for an anti-white,anti-male, sjw & feminist agenda.
