that's just speculation, marvel knows it would drive the money away based on how poorly the comics sold and the overall negative reaction they rightly got, since we had that short phase of controversial changes which literally only sold for the fact that they made edgy choices, and then sales dropped since the quality of writing went down with it as well. femthor can't happen since mjolnir no longer exists (unless avengers 4 somehow does the time warp prior to ragnarok, along with jane foster being recast) and captain marvel is likely to only have two movies before being stuck to avengers films and nothing else. in fact, ironheart did so terrible she's only had one series so far and has been left in the wind for a year now. the best she'll get is either a show or a video game appearance, but not a film.
but really, the mcu as a whole will start to decline once avengers 4 passes, with thanos' defeat. this is a decade of films we've had and we're getting to its proper climax, guardians 3 is dead in the water and spider-man 2 is the last entry for 2019, not to mention any projects past that are yet to be worked on or even in concept phases. you'll stop seeing the $1bn box offices and the averages will slowly dwindle by the bennies. so they'll have to finish up the netflix shows and the cable shows, and either reboot the entire thing, which is a terrible idea, or let it die and go back to the old style of letting people make some movies here and there, which is basically what dc is doing now.
