Title says it all.
I can't even say how much this angers me.
It's not that they fuck our beloved series (I'll spare you from list it all but you know what I mean), they also take away from us these small bits we even create on our own as fans.
Same as with the fan film production.
Really…fuck them.

Tried to download this the other day and wondered why it was gone. CBS is seriously some of the grubbiest EA-tier kikes imaginable. Even Games Workshop isn't this bad.

This is why you don't release a fan project based on a well known IP until it is finished or unless you are a Slav.

Unfortunately they weren't able to release their last version which was expected to have many more features in it.
It's a shame…

Some fags still blame Alec Peters for the new fanfilm rules but it's clear that it was bound to happen.
We live in a society time where you can create a high quality CGI scene with a home computer or have a program where you can virtually visit a set from an old tv show and it's superior to the official stuff created by CBS, of course they were going to C&D the shit out of it.

Shit, that sucks. Maybe one of them can 'accidentally' release it down the line.

There's also the fact that CBS and Ubisoft made that shitty VR Bridge Simulator right after these guys started making Stage 9. It's likely they say Stage 9 as competition despite it not having any real gameplay.

Yeah, it's just a walking simulator and it looks way better than the VR shit made by Ubisoft.

It would be a serious tragedy if some malicious hacker got into their computer and stole all the finished assets and released them anonymously into a network of people who would quickly proliferate it amongst themselves and others.

Yes, it would be a shame if it became so widely shared that the copyright holders couldn't do anything to stop it from spreading further.

When that kind of shit happens, what is stopping the devs from uploading it anonymously? How can they prove you did it if you upload from a public wi-fi?

If a new version ends up on the torrent sites then it's easy to asume that it's coming from the devs so CBS could sue them for doing that.

If it was built accurate to the set blueprints then it was shit anyways. Those were built to 7:8 scale - literally a ship for manlets. Not sure about the other technical blueprints that were created at one point, but they were shit too for other reasons. For instance, when you attempt to reconcile the Enterprise-D model used for the show with deck heights and interior layout, shits fucking fucked. None of it makes any sense and is wildly inconsistent, like the model was built in stages and no care was taken to ensure the windows and decks were placed accurately. A realistically revised Enterprise-D would have a noticeably different exterior window layout all over, but particularly in the "neck" and in saucer where a lot of them are long, awkwardly-placed floor/skylights more then practical windows.

Don't federation ships have gravity plating? The windows could all be properly placed from the perspective of the crew since one's sense of up and down and direction would be relative.

>So how would it look accurately?
you'ld probably want to start with the bridge/deck 1 or ten forward/deck 10 as reference and work from there. nearly all the windows in the saucer would be shorter and you'ld probably have a lot more of the 'notched' windows like you see at the bottom of the saucer. The neck may or may not be spaced correctly, but aesthetically you've got a lot of weirdly-positioned windows, but that's not strictly a problem. Autists try to 3D model the Enterprise-D complete interiors from time to time and always complain about problems matching the decks to the windows seen the models. They end up having to partially disregard the blueprints or the models or both.
