Teqi's Lounge isn't great for that but has variable high points of pretty avatars and people that aren't completely retarded....but its pretty much only little individual bright spots. The place used to be really good but its devolved down the usual collection of cookie cutter fuckbois and females with extremely bad ideas of what sexy is (g.i.r.l.s) on the average. Still worth a stop though because usually there is at least one or two people there worth a look and some good eRPer's do hang out there.
FMD is a traffic farm, I don't think anyone legitimately patronizes the place for anything real any more.
Femboy's was a fun place to find interesting people but recently has changed its focus and is now called Grandpa's (not to be confused with Grandpa's Basement...which is largely incest fantasy crap) and seems to be heading towards attempting to suicide itself by alienating the demographic that made it interesting.
Maui Swinger's Lounge was good but has weird point based rules and the owners are apparently a little odd.
Elysion is gorgeous and has a handful of good people in it at any time but the place is a little far up its own ass and is full of "bloggers" and Flickr whores most of the time.
The Mansion is flat out dead these days. They really tanked that place
The RP sims have all kinda slowed down....least the freeform ones. Crack Den is basically just afk people and very little RP, CoLA is mostly hardcore RP and almost no sex. RoE and A&D are more gamey and farmy and very little sexual interaction. Kinda funny how that goes, CoLA and CD used to be pretty hard core and rapey and fun...now its just "RP IS TEH EVERYTHING" and they're full of partnered up people that are too nervous to do anything edgy any more.
My secret is I wander around, I literally just type "sex" into legacy search and hit anything that appears to be something other than a strip club or an AFK place...and sometimes I even go to the AFK places because not everyone is AFK. Even some of the grossest places like Orgasms are worth a hit on occasion just to see whats going on/who is there.....usually a stand out avatar attracts the attention of other stand out avatars. From there I usually go someplace nice....theres a tiny little place called The Clique that recently opened to the public, it has a small contingent of some of the best human avatars I've ever seen that seem to show up there and hang out and the design of the place is amazingly detailed....its a cool place to take a new friend and chill and...see what happens.

I fail to understand the point of logging onto SL if you're going to spend 90% of the time ignoring everybody in SL to watch Netflix or chat in some random Discord channel. Many-a-time I log in and a friend IMs me with a "Hi" so I try to make conversation, but it takes 10-40 minutes per reply until I ask what they are doing and they tell me they're watching Netflix or are in Discord. Then an hour or so later they wanna hump but I just have to turn them down. Then said people keep trying to invite me to Discord or Steam or Teamspeak or whatever.
