Trying to have a sim that's just about lewding but also has a community around it is a stupid idea and was always destined to fail. Sooner or later people are just not going to be in the mood to fuck and just end up hanging out, and the more people you have hanging out, the greater the odds of attracting more people who just want to hang out and not fuck.
Sims where people just fuck and don't hang out period are possible but not when everybody is in a group and knows eachother and chats about random shit. If you want a "fuck or walk" experience, you're probably gonna have to mingle with pubbies on shitty sex sims that nobody'd ever bother to visit if they weren't specifically looking for sex.

Firstly, Having been in /d/ for 2-3 years now, and having been in gay 4chan erp groups for over a decade, the problem is always always the same. Since the first day on fucking Yiffstar all the way to SL and f-list now, the problem has always been; people sitting there not talking, not contributing, completely just leaving their name out on the list all day, without even intending to message anyone. Not because they don't want to be messaged, because they are "sub" or "Beta" or "cuckold as fuck holy shit grown a spine," waiting for someone else to message them first. This has ALWAYS been an issue. You can have 30 of these people in a room and be confident absolutely nothing is happening because none of them will ever make the first move on anyone else. So lets get this out of the way first. "Why is nobody doing anything on /d/?" it's not because of VG, it's because a shit ton of them are just waiting to be messaged first. Wow woah, want proof? Fucking message any of them, and just say "Want fuck?" I've literally never been turned down, and time and time again I've heard "woah I was waiting for someone to ask" or "O-Oh s-sure n-nobody else w-was a-asking."
But NONE of them in the past 2 years has EVER asked me to do it on /d/. I've literally been asked on stern to fuck on stern by /vg/ mods. I've never once been asked by anyone on /d/ to fuck on /d/. Why is that? Or better question, Why do I never ask THEM to do shit on /d/? Because why fucking would I? Why would I want to do anything in front of like 20 idle gawkers with their enabled look-at data literally locked onto random peoples dicks, sending me messages of them having de-rendered my clothing, or clingy bullshit after I've spoken to them literally once in my life.
I can tell you now, everyone fucking knows the true reason, you can all pretend that Boo hoo muh /vg/ ruined the mood recently, but there literally never was a mood, I've seen like four people in the last 2 years fuck on /d/, I can literally list them off by name.
So lets really talk here, about why nobody does it on /d/, lets seriously let the cat out of the bag so everyone can know and stop pretending there's some unknown reason.
