How come all the clothing/accessories in SL are so slutty? The entire SL economy revolves around sex, are there any content creators that aim for a different, perhaps more respectable demographic?

Well that right there is your problem. There's not enough market for things that aren't sex-related or just plain slutty fashion (even for the people that don't do pixel sex).
I wish it were otherwise sometimes, because I'd like to have a few more things that are more "cool" than "sexual", but them's the cold hard facts of the situation: anyone who wants something other than slutty is the minority, and not financially worth pursuing for content creators. That's not to say there aren't any, but they're a lot less common than the slutty stuff, and it's not going to improve. If anything, with SL's population slowly dropping, it's going to get worse rather than better, as content creators cater to the lowest common denominator in order to continue making sales.
