The explanation says it's both trans man or trans woman.
https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/trans-identified_male#English
I still don't fucking understand if it's referring to MTF or FTM.
<The first sense is used chiefly by individuals who believe that transgender women should be regarded as male.
Wut. I assume the anon was referring to males. These acronyms are too confusing.

As some of you may have noticed invidio.us is not working at the moment because Google/YouTube now prevents the captcha workaround.
Keep an eye out for updates here: https://github.com/omarroth/invidious/issues/1183

Any update on this? I heard they were facing a massive lawsuit by multiple publishers. Hope they can find a way to continue running their public domain archive and the Wayback Machine. Use both on a daily basis almost, and it would be the final nail in the coffin for the Internet if we lost all those archived books, films, &c., and the ability to view archived web sites.
And it gets worse; the lead dev on invidious is gonna SHUT IT DOWN on 1 Sept 1 October: https://omar.yt/posts/stepping-away-from-open-source
Hopefully the other instances will stay up.

They may disguise the argument as publishers trying to protect copyright. But this right here is what they really want to stop; objective historical artefacts.

Yeah, limit access to public domain works and the “wrong kind” of user generated content.
This is similar to these crazies tearing down statues now – remove as many traces of our past as possible, cast more and more non-Whites in films and TV-shows portraying the past… They’ve even renamed some streets in the U.S.
<For, after all, how do we know that two and two make four? Or that the force of gravity works? Or that the past is unchangeable? If both the past and the external world exist only in the mind, and if the mind itself is controllable – what then?
<The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.
<Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book has been rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered
>Sad!
Maybe Susan Wojcicki told him to shut it down or they would break his kneecaps? At least we have BitChute, though that site still needs some work; the search function is awful.

This entire site has been messed up for about a week now. New posts will not show up unless you actually click on a thread to see them. They show up on the main page for a short while after being made, then it all revert back again.
Is Ron even aware of this?

Even longer I think. When I check the catalogue sometimes it will be in an order from weeks ago, then sometimes seem updated and then revert to very old again. And when I've checked the index page the same thing, normal then won't show recent posts, then normal. I've been using the mod recent posts page to see what's posted.
>Is Ron even aware of this?
Not sure tbh. I could ask him on twitter or send an email to support. He always seems so busy.

It's really nothing, 8kun's hosting provider uses those DoD addresses for routing because even though officially they're DoD addresses, in practice they're like reserved addresses (like the ones made for local networks, 192.168.x.x).
This happens because the DoD doesn't actually use them so they're unallocated and thus can be used for routing. It's an off-spec hack. They do this because big tech has bought most of the IPv4 blocks, so if you're a tiny ISP that also aims to run sites targeted for deplatforming you do that.

Mentioned E. F. Benson in a mail to BO way, way back, and that his mother (who was the widow of Edward White Benson, the Archbishop of Canterbury) was a lesbian and lived with her companion afterwards; found an interesting article about one of his sisters, Egyptologist Margaret Benson, who also was a lesbian. Some rather strong emotions on display in Maggie’s letters for the supposedly repressed Victorians.
A very beautiful painting at the beginning of the article as well.

Fear this site is in its final death throes tbh.
There is one possible solution to the 500 Internal Server Error: click [Last 50 Posts] on the longer threads. I think some of the threads are getting so massive this already bloated site cannot handle them, causing a posting error.
Not even the long threads at tvch are not having this kind of error.

I'll change the bump limit to 250 and see if that helps. Strange, I haven't had any posting errors. Maybe it's browser compatibility issues? With codemonkey gone and no /sudo/ board, I imagine the back end has been neglected. You'd think if this was a glowop they'd want to keep the site running and accessible.

It appears that it was my VPN that caused the non-stop 500 Internal Server Error pop-up, and caused the captcha to not load. Couldn’t log in either.
If it was because that particular IP address is banned it should have given me a different error message, yes?
Maybe it is just my tinfoil sense tingling, but I’ve got a bad feeling about this. It is starting to glow a little too brightly.
