Hi,
So as the title states, do you think some character could die in the near future or will Rooster Teeth keep a 0 victims policy throughout.
My votes are on Ironwood (for Penny feels), Ozpin (for mentor death) or Nora (for tragic pairing).
What do you think rwbs? Could this series have a grimm spot prepared for the future?
(bad pun is bad)

>Nora
I don't want Nora to die so I guess it would be a good idea to impact people that do.
I've been hearing people say that Pyrrha is likely going to die but I don't see why. Do you have any insight into that?

>>368There was a deathflag on pyrrha from the moment cinder's group talked about how easy it would be beating her and her brief fight with Mercury. It's a possibility but I think it would be a greater opportunity to develop on Jaune's aura and possibilities.
As far as we've seen on Jaune's aura it heals him of a wound instantly so maybe it can heal others? At least that's what I think.
And since I don't think that Pyrrha (the one with the bigger death flag) is going to die due to "magickz!"
So who's the next "could be" tragic pair? Nora and Ren and mostly due to the fact of the song boop existing. It hints(more like confirms) at Nora and Ren really happening and that could easily be made into a tragic pair. Perhaps… even a treason?
(because bad pun is bad Lie Ren Lies)

>>369>There was a deathflag on pyrrha from the moment cinder's group talked about how easy it would be beating her and her brief fight with MercuryI kinda forgot about that. Yes, I got a similar feeling then but I'm not sure if the guys in charge of the show have the balls to actually kill someone off. Maybe they'll find their balls in Vol.3?

>>371>I'm not sure if the guys in charge of the show have the balls to actually kill someone off.Yeah, they might have a 0 death policy (or at least on-screen character death since they already killed off Summer Rose but we never knew her so she doesn't count.)
Anyways Pyrrha's deathflag I think is one of the minor possibilities what about Ironwood for creating a gripping drama of a parent dying? He's not all that main charactery and it seems he's pretty useless for the plot right now.

I believe they killed Tuckson IIRC.

Looks like the first real casualty was the most unexpected one.

>>383And you are right but I'm talking about actual beloved character deaths. XD
Like… raise your hand if you cried for Tukson? Anyone?

>>386I didn't cry for him, exactly, but I thought there was a lot of wasted potential there.
I mean, a librarian and Faunus in hiding? He could have easily been an old friend of Blake, and his death would have been what spurred her on in her S2 determination. Instead her motivation was a lot more nebulous.

>>390I get what you are saying but… I don't see that much of potential over it.
At least not within the series. You see, with a running time as short as it is it's a miracle we got to even see him. If it wasn't because they needed to set how ruthless this new villains (Mercury and Emerald) were he wouldn't have existed in the first place.
Also Blake's motivation is weird alright XD it's not personal but they almost play it like it's personal… so maybe the true underlying motivation has something to do with certain red haired swordsman? huh?
