I don't think so my dude. With even the most diehard of rwby fans hating V5, miles and kerry will grab at every straw they can reach to create some positive buzz At this point resurrecting a fan favourite character (or even making it central to the volume) in an attempt to harken back to the time the show had even a nanogram of personality isn't just expected, it's almost par for the course.

Especially how in the last few episodes each fight gets interrupted by charachters talking & when there isn't dialogue they barely show any real action & just jump to some other scene with almost zero real fighting going on.
