Yeah, which is why I said Weiss instead of Blake. Look at it this way:
Weiss becoming good again is like Borderlands becoming good again. BL1 was a decent game and Weiss was ok at best in the show. Then BL2/Weiss drinking the Kool-Aid came and it's fucked. It's not impossible for either BL or Weiss to git less awful, but it's unlikely.
Blake becoming good is like The Elder Scrolls becoming good, note the lack of "again." They both sounded hard to screw up, but they're absolute shit. Much like Bethesda, the only way to fix Blake is death.
It's very hard versus impossible. Winning the Nobel Prize versus eating the sun.
