>"I'm definitely enjoying Combat Training the most," Yang says as she grabs coffee mugs for everyone. "Here's hoping we'll all get the chance to fight in the future."

>"I think I'm going to go with Yang on this one, It's just so fun sparing with other students!" Ruby grins, her silver eyes twinkling with joy.

>"We might be training to fight monsters, but there's more to being a Huntsman than fighting," Weiss interjects before pulling back once she realizes that she's raining on Ruby's parade again. "I mean… other classes like Science, History, and Grimm Studies are probably just as interesting, in my opinion."

>That was kind of unexpected. You're really tempted to ask what changed Weiss' tune so drastically so quickly, possible when you have some alone time.

>"How about you, Blake?" Ruby asks her other team mate who already has her head buried in a book.

>"Hmm? Oh, did you say something?" Blake looks over at Ruby as if she just got pulled out of a trance.

>"We were just talking about our favorite classes and were wondering what yours was," Ruby says.

>"I guess we'll just have to wait and see," Blake looks away. "It's only been one day after all."

>Blake turns her attention back to her book, trying to avoid eye contact with Iris who is once more staring at her. You're not sure why Iris keeps doing this, especially to Blake, but it seems to be making Blake slightly uncomfortable despite Blake's best efforts to hide her feelings.

>"Out of the four classes, I don't think It's possible to choose just one," Edread says, breaking the brief silence. "History is always important to learn while Grimm studies is equally as important. Then there's Science and Botany which could prove very useful to any Huntsman out in the field. Maybe I'd choose Combat Training?"

>"You enjoyed kicking Cardin's ass that much?" you ask with a smile.

>"There's more to it than just that. I've been training myself in combat ever since I was young, It's kind of a family tradition, in a way," Edread says.

>"Maybe he's just shy?" Yang smiles as she walks over with a tray a coffee mugs. "How about one grunt for Grimm Studies, two grunts for Hist-"

>Yang is cut off as she hands Balder his coffee and his superhuman grip causes the mug to crack, piping hot coffee dripping out through the cracks and onto the giant's hand. Most people would probably yelp in pain, but Balder just looks down at the broken mug like an innocent child. An innocent child that could rip your arms off anyway…

>"I'll grab some napkins," Edread sighs.

>Once the mess is cleaned up, Yang brings Balder another mug of coffee, this time with a bendy straw so he won't break the cup with his iron grip. The conversation ends up shifting back to the events of your first Combat Training.

>"Something that's been bothering me is that blonde boy," Weiss says.

>"You mean Jaune?" Ruby asks.

>"I couldn't be asked to remember his name," Weiss turns her head away. "There's no way someone like him made it into Beacon naturally, nor could he end up as the leader of a team with Pyrrha Nikos in it."

>"He certainly didn't sneak through the back door," you say.

>"Part of me is seriously beginning to think he did," Weiss says. "Nonetheless, I doubt he's going to last long at Beacon is he continues like he is."

>"I don't know, he seems nice," Ruby says.

>"That hardly qualifies him for entry into Beacon. Some of us actually had to work hard to get where we are now," Weiss says.

What should you do now?

1. Change the subject back to classes. You still didn't find out what Iris' favorite class is.

2. Ask Edread about the Arc family. Maybe Jaune has a connection with a rich family which helped get him into Beacon?

3. See if everyone thinks about inviting team JNPR next time you study.

4. Fine out what everyone's favorite professor is.

5. Look at the newspaper and see if anything interesting has happened (or just read the comics).

6. Drink your coffee before getting back to studying. There's not time for idle conversation.

The name of the man escapes you at the moment, but you remember how the Great War was started when one of the Kings began to ban art and creativity in hopes of reshaping the world of Remnant. This caused a great divide among his royal knights who began to fight among themselves until a massive rift was formed that only grew as the Faunus of Remnant began to make a push of their own, fearing that the King would soon exile their kind to the remote regions of Remnant.

>"Then came the Faunus War," Edread says. "Once the dust had settled from the Great War, another one came, though it wasn't a war for art, but a war for fairness and equality."

>Weiss seems to turn her head up at the mention of the Faunus War, Blake on the other hand seems slightly upset.

>"Is it possible then that Jaune got into Beacon because of his family's status?" you ask. "Even if they're mostly forgotten, I'm sure someone like Ozpin would still remember."

>"It's certainly possible," Edread nods. "I honestly expected something more… impressive, from a member of the Arc family."

>"Regardless, we should probably get back to studying," Weiss interjects.

>"She's right, we've spent a little too much time talking," Edread agrees.

>The eight of you spend an eternity going over the assigned reading materials you were given before you realize just how late it has gotten.

>"Boy am I beat!" Yang stretches her arms with a yawn.

>"I'd say that's enough studying for one night," Weiss lets out a dainty yawn. "It was nice studying with you four, maybe we'll get the chance to do this again in the future?"

>"Sounds like a plan," you smile at Weiss after gathering up your things.

1. Head back to your room and sleep.

2. See if anyone wants to go for a mind-clearing walk before bed (or go on your own).

I say Weiss or Yang. After watching season 3, I am almost tempted to go after Blake so we can cuck Adam. We send him the porn tape and then he could go to his cuck shed to fap to it.

You try your best not to stare, or at least not attract the girl's attention.

What should you do?

1. Inquire about what happened after Grimm Studies that changed Weiss' disposition towards Ruby.

2. Ask why Weiss decided to become a Huntress instead of focusing on singing, or her families company.

3. Ask about the scar.

4. Say nothing, just enjoy the silence and maybe Weiss will say something.

>The pause before you speak is a long one, you take your time to formulate the proper response. Weiss patiently waits for you to say something as the two of you continue to follow Beacon Academy's winding stone path.

>"I could have stayed at home, building my family's company. There would be a certain nobility in that, providing jobs and dust security for people. But I feel there will be something more for me. Something to truly test me. And when that day comes, I want to be ready," you say.

>A sort of silence cloaks the two of you, but not an awkward kind of silence, but a silence of understanding that seems to indicate a deepening connection between the two of you. Though some might think of this as the perfect moment to make a move, you know better. Weiss doesn't seem like the kind of girl to take kindly to guys encroaching on her personal space without permission, you can only image what would happen if her father found out that the Octavius family's heir tried to kiss his daughter.

>"You know, my first impressions of Beacon might have left me sour, but I think I'm starting to like it here again," Weiss says as you both make your way back to the dorm area.

>"I feel the same way," you grin as you look up at the moon one last time.

>You and Weiss wish each other a good night before going your separate way. Inside your dorm, you find only Edread still awake with his bedside lamp on, a book resting in his lap.

>"Did you have a pleasant walk?" Edread looks up at you.

>"I did," you smile to yourself as you kick off your shoes and fall into bed.

>"That's good," Edread smiles as he looks down at his book. "Let's try and get a good nights sleep then. We've got another big day ahead of of."

>Edread closes his book and sets in on his table before turning off his bedside lamp, plunging the room into almost compete darkness, save for the silvery moonlight entering in through the window. Slowly, you drift off to sleep and begin to see vague images of all the people you've met during your short stay at Beacon.

>The next morning, you awaken to the pitter-patter of water. Leaning upwards and looking out of the window, you realize that it isn't rain, but the sound of a running shower. Looking around the room, you notice that everyone is gone and only a note remains on the dorms door. The note is from Edread and explains how both him and Balder went to the cafeteria to grab breakfast for both you and Iris. They'll probably be back soon enough and you've still got time before class begins.

What should you do while you wait?

-Head next door and check on team RWBY.

-Head a few doors down and see how JNPR is doing this morning.

-Wander the halls for a little and maybe you'll wander into someone.

-Tell Iris to hurt up so you can have your morning shower.

>Everyone digs into their breakfast and finishes with record time, leaving you with enough time to walk to your first class of the day.

>Edread's prediction proves to be more right than he though. Stepping out into the hallway, he nearly trips over poor Ruby Rose who was just about to check on team JNPR before heading to class with her team.

>You opt to stay silent as your group walks to the first class of the day. Everyone seems to be anticipating the next story you're going to have to sit through, others are hoping for something a little more hands on like the fight near the end of Professor Port's tale.

>Upon enter the classroom, you find a few of you fellow students already waiting for the class to begin. The Professor is standing before his desk, wishing everyone a good morning as they enter as he runs a hand through the whiskers of his gloriously well kept mustache. Taking at the front row next to team RWBY and team JNPR, you patiently sit as the clock ticks away.

>The last of the student show up just before the first bell rings, this includes team CRDL, lead by the lumbering Cardin Winchester who seems to be in a bad moon this morning. Scanning the class, Cardin zeroes in on Jaune of all people and gets a wicked smile on his face as he takes a seat two rows behind team JNPR with his team mates, resting his feet on the desk before him with his hands behind his head. You get the feeling that he's planning something, but at least he's not bothering you, right?

>Grimm studies begins pretty much the same as the first one, with Port regaling everyone with a tale of heroism from his youth. You decide to follow the example of your fellow students and make a few notes in a very robotic fashion, letting your mind wander, almost losing consciousness as the Professor rambles on endlessly.

>You just ignore him, you're sure it's nothing.

>"Ow! Who threw that?" Jaune whines again.

>This continues on and off for several minutes before you decide to turn around and see what's got Jaune so annoyed. As you turn your head, you see Cardin flick a small ball of paper at the blonde boy, hitting him square in the back of the head. "What's the deal!?" Jaune glares back at Cardin who simply feigns ignorance.

>"What is this? Kindergarten?" you shake your head is disbelief.

>You manage to tune out Jaune and Cardin in hopes that the ape will get bored eventually, letting your mind focus on more important things, like girls. You're hand continues to scribbling down more notes as your mind drifts off once more, trying to cook up plans for the exciting weekend ahead with Yang. Back at Nova Academy, you'd raced quite a few times with the other boys in an effort to impress the girls. A nostalgic sigh escapes your lips as you remember the roar of your bike and the scent of burning rubber on a asphalt road, the cheering and hollers, the inevitable wailing of sirens as the police arrived to ruin the fun. Good times.

Professor Port seems quite pleased with the way you spent your time in his class and assigns everyone more reading material for the night and informs you of a small test this Friday, probably something to do with his stories to make sure you're all paying attention.

Option one. Jaune needs to solve his own problems. Imagine Jaune if he didn't get through this problem himself. He probably sit be a pussy and unable to defend himself because he didn't ask help from his team.

>Everyone in the classroom stands up and slowly proceeds out of the classroom, though Jaune takes a few moments to remove the paper balls from his golden hair. Something compels you to walk up to the boy and actually acknowledge his existence, you're not really sure why.

>"Stupid, grrr, Cardin!" Jaune curses under his breath as his team gets up.

>"Are you alright, Jaune?" Pyrrha places a comforting hand on Jaune's shoulder.

>"Yeah, I'm fine," Jaune sighs. "Not the first time something like this has happened to me."

>"Why would Cardin target you anyway?" you interject.

>"I think Cardin's been acting out lately since he lost that fight with your team mate," Pyrrha looks over at Edread.

>"Cardin did the same thing to that faunus girl a while back, the coward," Edread glares back at team CRDL as they exit the classroom. "Hopefully he calms down."

>Jaune walks right past you and Edread without another word. For a moment, you notice a sad look on Pyrrha's face as she raises a hand, almost like she was trying to reach out to Jaune. The Huntress in training shakes her head and joins up with her team as you follow closely behind with your own into the great hallway.

>History Class with Professor Oobleck proves to be just as interesting as the last class, not every. The strange man zips around the classroom at a frantic pace while taking random sips from his coffee mug which seems to be infinitely in capacity. The whole room is mostly orderly and devoid is disruption, save for one instance where Jaune got hit by a paper airplane, Oobleck mistaking the boy's audible "Hey!" as a sign that he knew the answer to a question. Jaune botches the answer in front of the class, making a fool of himself in front of everyone for the second time today.

>As the bell rings overhead, Oobleck assigns everyone reading material relating to the Faunus War before asking Cardin to stay for a few moments after class. It would appear that Cardin's behavior didn't go unnoticed by the over-caffeinated history teacher. Cardin grits his teeth in anger as everyone exits the room, leaving him behind with varying degrees of smugness on their faces.

>"About time someone did something about him," Weiss says. "What a dolt."

>"I'm not sure how he intends on staying at Beacon with an attitude like that," Blake comments.

>"You really think they'd kick him out?" Jaune says with a tiny hint of happiness in his voice.

>Everyone makes their way towards the cafeteria and grabs their food before taking a seat at the table across from each other, you and Iris sitting next to each other with Edread and Balder across from you. As you dig into your lunch, you look across the table and see a fellow first year with tiny horns poking out of his mop-like hair reading a newpaper, the front page reads "Dust Delivery Train Derailed! No Survivors". The headline sends a chill through your body as you recall those times from your youth where your father would come home in a silent rage and sit down in his favorite chair before pouring a drink of scotch, the atmosphere in your home becoming so silent that you could hear a needle drop from all the way in Mistral. It seemed like one of your families trains was being derailed and raided by the White Fang every few week now, increasing the tension between the Schnee Dust Company and your family by the month. Things have become so bad that Atlus has begun to supply your two families with autonomous guards, though it didn't seem to be making a difference.

>"Maybe it was a simple accident? We don't know and can't just jump to conclusions!" Blake stands her ground.

>"And I'm sure once the news comes out that they were responsible, there will still be people who defend their behavior," Weiss says. "I'm so sick of those ruffians with their self righteous crusade against my family and anyone who doesn't fit in with their ilk."

>Blake simply glares at Weiss without another word and grabs her tray before storming out of the cafeteria in a fury.

>"W-What was that all about?" Ruby frowns at the sight of her team mates fighting.

>Weiss doesn't say another word and simply glares suspiciously at Blake as she makes her exit before taking her seat once again. The heiress tries her best not to let Blake's outburst get to her and promptly switches back to the topic at hand. "As I was saying, there's been plenty of proof that the White Fang is behind disappearances of dust shipments all across Remnant. Not just that, but also the sudden disappearances of multiple people have also been linked to them."

>"Yeah, I've heard about those," you nod. "There's been instances where people would disappear for weeks at a time before the family was sent a ransom letter, if they were lucky."

>"That's horrible," Yang says, imagining the pain the people must have been in.

>"I still can't understand while sympathizers with the White Fang aren't being locked up for associating with them," Weiss says.

>"I guess they can't label them as criminals until they're caught," Yang says.

>"Working with scoundrels that terrorize businesses and their family's seems criminal enough to me," Weiss pouts.

>"Maybe we should go see if Blake is feeling alright?" Ruby speaks up.

>"I'll talk to her," Iris stands up, catching everyone off guard.

>"Huh? Why?" you ask is confusion.

>"I think I understand," Iris smiles subtly before walking off in the direction that Blake went.

You and the others quickly finish your lunch before heading to Glynda's class to begin your second official combat training class. Both Blake and Iris are already there, Blake seems slightly nervous though, something you decide not to pry about until after class if at all. A few seats behind you sits team CRDL with their agitated leader, Cardin Winchester, who seems to be ignoring Jaune this class. Hopefully he's learned his lesson.

>Glynda Goodwitch enters the classroom right on time and starts things off by talking about the upcoming Vytal Festival Tournament as well as it's cultural significance to Remnant, the lesson soon segues into how tournaments are structures. Glynda explains how the first matches start of four on four team battle, followed by doubles, and then singles, a pretty simple concept that most of you are familiar with.

>"Since you all seam so eager to get right into the combat training, I think we can start things off with a friendly doubles sparing match," Glynda says. "Verdant? Is your team ready?"

Nora is playfully swinging her massive hammer about and spinning in the middle of the dueling stage, it's almost creepy how happy she looks to be fighting someone. The bubbly girls partner, Ren doesn't seem too pleased, in fact, he looks about ready to fall asleep.

>"Life is short…Bury! Steady Sword!" you shout to Edread who gives you an affirmative nod before kicking Nora backwards to buy himself more time to charge-up his attack.

>Edread's entire body begins to glow as he channels his aura into the blade of his sword. Before Nora has a chance to get up, the knight unleashes a massive, thick wave of energy which cuts through the marble floor. Bits of debris fly in every direction as the sword-beam closes in on Nora who rolls to the side while gripping her weapon tightly to her chest.

>"Nora!" Ren shouts as the beam comes close to making contact with her. His shout is almost like that of a brother crying out the name of their endangered sibling.

>The beam explodes before it can reach the seating area, clouding the entire room in a thick smoke of rubble. Glynda waves her whip once, clearing the area so Nora can be seen.

>Despite hitting Nora with his best shot, the Huntress in training actually managed to dodge the massive energy wave attack. Nora's entire body is covered in a thin layer of dust which causes her to sneeze several times before hopping to her feet.

>"I'm okay! I'm Oh-kay!" she hops up and down while waving to Glynda who simple places a hand on her face to show her disbelief.

>The third bell of the day rings before anyone can make a move, causing the class to erupt in a deep 'aww!" Glynda seems equally as displeased by the anticlimactic ending to such an eventful battle, but ultimately decides to let everyone go. "I suppose we'll have to finish this match at a later date, yes?" Glynda says before using her whip to repair the wreckage Edread just enacted.

>"That. Was. Awesome!" Nora runs up to Ren and gives him a rib-crushing hug.

>"I guess that means you're alright…?" Ren says weakly.

>"Why wouldn't I be!? I haven't had such an exciting fight since our initiation!" Nora beams as she lifts her team mate up and spins him around.

>"Dammit…," Edread sighs deeply as he tried to recover from the fight. "I feel really bad about wasting such an important attack."

>"Let's get going," you look down at Edread, more that a little displeased by his incompetence. "We got a class with Professor Peach next."

>Everyone begins to file out of the room and into Beacon's hallway. Once you've changed out of your combat gear and back into your school uniform, you meat up with the rest of you team. Both team JNPR and team RWBY are waiting their for you with smiles on their faces, Weiss doesn't seem as impressed as the other do right now.

>"Oh heck of a fight, Verdant!" Yang grins.

>"That one glowey beam attack you used was awesome!" Ruby nearly sqwees. "Is that your semblance? How does it work?"

What should Verdant do while heading to his next class with the others?

1. See why Weiss is so displeased. You assume it has something to do with your performance.

2. Talk with Edread about the fight. Tell him to get his shit together before the next battle.

3. Listen in on Edread and Ruby Rose. You've very curious how your team mates semblance works.

4. Talk with your team about strategy. Coming up with team attack names would be ideal right now.

5. Strut to your class without another word. You're too cool to talk right now.

Sorry about being MIA for so long guys. I've been busy with some other projects and couldn't really write for this particular Quest for some weeks. Volume 4 not being very good also demoralized me a little bit.

I'm going to be updating any day now, and hopefully able to stick around long enough to finish this monster of a quest.

The great love battle of Weiss vs Yang will be decided before long!

>As you march towards your next class, you decide that's it's imperative to pull Edread to the side for a little team meeting. The knight seems to know full-well what is coming next, and simply lets your speak first, retaining is proper posture. Even when he's being put in his place, Edread doesn't seem like a very submissive individual.

>"Edread, I'm going to be honest with you here. Your combat skills need some work. We're going to put more time into training," you say firmly.

>"I'm not going to make excuses, Verdant. I was sloppy, and almost cost us the fight in front of our entire class. Training more in the future is most certainly our best option from now on, especially when the lives of our team mates are going to potentially be on the line," Edread nods in complete agreement.

>"Glad to know we're at least on the same page," you smile lightly. "Now if you don't mind, I've got to talk with Weiss about something."

>"Alright then," Edread smiles knowingly. No way he hasn't noticed your interest in both Weiss and Yang by now.

>You slowly approach Weiss, being sure to let her know that you're coming. The heiress seems slightly less displeased than before, though her overall disappointment is still very much there. Weiss turns her head to look at you and simply says you name very plainly. "Verdant," Weiss says coldly.

>"Weiss," you say. "I was just talking with my team mate to insure those same mistakes don't happen again. Thought I'd come talk with you too."

>"I found it strange that your team mate performed so… poorly, this time around. Perhaps he's more used to fighting a single opponent as opposed to fighting two others with a partner?" Weiss looks back at Edread.

>"Whatever his reason, we're going to be training like there's no tomorrow from here on out. Have you had the chance to really train with your own team, Weiss?" you ask curiously.

>"The only experience we're had as a team was against the Nevermore in the Emerald Forest days ago. I've been talking with Ruby and the others about taking time out of our day to train on campus as a team," Weiss says. "Just because Ruby is our leader, doesn't mean that I can't make tactical and smart decisions too."

>"Yeah, it's strange how Ozpin made someone as young as Ruby the leader of a team," you shrug.

>"Even if I don't like it, nor agree with the discussion. I still have to live with it," Weiss looks forward at Ruby. "And maybe one day I'll understand Ozpin's reasoning too?"

>"Speaking of Ruby. I don't mean to pry, but it looks like you've been getting along with Ruby a lot more. May I ask what changed?" you ask.

>"Let's just say that I talked with one of the professors and tried looking at the situation differently. If Ruby is supposed to be the team leader, than I will have to be the best team mate I can," Weiss says.

>"A very mature outlook," you nod.

>"I just hope my patience pays off," Weiss looks off into the distance. "But I'll be sure to ask Ruby about training after our final class."

>Professor Peach's class comes and goes at a rather sluggish pace, but nowhere near as sluggish as the professor himself. By the end of the class, your right hand is absolutely cramped and on the verge of completely seizing up. The pain wasn't for nothing though, given how you just learned about the application of certain herbs found throughout the kingdom of Vale!

>You've learned several ways to perform first aid in the field!

>"I believe that's all for today! Class dismissed!" Professor Peach gives the class a charming smile after the school bell rings.

>"Woohoo! We're free!" Nora leaps to her feet, raising her arms above her head and making a heart shape with both hands.

>"And we only have a few things to study before bedtime!" Yang stands up and cracks her neck and shoulders. "How about we head back to our dorms first?"

>"Let's go team RWBY!" Ruby hops out of her seat.

>"Ruby? Do you have a moment?" Weiss speaks up.

>"Anything for my partner!" Ruby smiles as Weiss asks her about training later.

>"That would be great! I'll grab my scythe!" Ruby cheers as she sprints off towards her dorm room, leaving a trail of rose pedals in her wake.

I know Professor Peach is basically a canon female now, but I'm just gonna stick with this version. We're basically in Beacon Quest continuity now.

>"Alright, everyone! We're going to be meeting team RWBY in the courtyard in one hour! It's about time we got some much needed training done before sundown!" you turn to the other three members of team VIBE as you exit the classroom.

>"One hour is more than enough time to change into our combat gear," Edread nods in approval.

>"And I expect all of you to wear your best equipment for the occasion! We're all representing the team this afternoon!" you shout over team VIBE.

>Your team seems in high spirits as you head back to your dorm room and take turns using the bathroom to get changed in private, everyone except for Iris that is…. The pale huntress stands right next to her sleeping area and removes her school shoes, stockings, and then her skirt and jacket. Edread steps out of the washroom in his combat gear, just in time to see the faunus as she begins to remove her white blouse. Needless to say, the poor huntsman-in-training shields his eyes and backs away like he just witnessed Professor Port without his shirt on.

>"Gah! What are you doing, Iris?" Edread shouts.

>"What is it, Edread? Did I do something wrong?" Iris asks innocently.

>"Put your shirt back on and change in the bathroom!" Edread looks away.

>"Okay then…," Iris says in her misty voice as she carries her gear into the bathroom.

>"What's she trying to pull?" Edread asks you as he looks back at the bathroom door and scratches his head in confusion.

>"She did say she was raised in the outskirts of Vale," you comment.

>"Well I've never heard of humans outside of Vale lacking shame," Edread shakes his head.

>Iris comes out of the bathroom in her combat gear and takes a seat on the ground while Balder gets changed. With everyone now changed into their gear, your team follows you to the meeting place, leaving you with more than enough time to talk with your partner.

>"Iris, can I ask you something? Why did you not freak out when I saw you naked?" you ask the faunus.

>"Was I supposed too?" Iris looks at you with a slightly tilted head.

>"Uh, yeah?" you look Iris in the eye, as if expecting her to reveal this as some sort of perverse prank. "Wait a minute, you're being serious right now?"

>"Hmm, I was told that the customs inside of Vale were much more different than the ones in my small village. I suppose that showing certain body party is considered taboo here?" Iris asks innocently.

>"You're not from some sort of weird nudist colony outside of Vale, are you?" you ask, slightly hesitant about hearing the answer.

>"Of course not, Verdant. You'll have to forgive my foolishness earlier, I didn't know that showing my breasts was looked down upon so heavily," Iris adjusts her white tunic.

>"I can't believe we're having this conversation!" you say to yourself before giving Iris some more advice. "Just remember to change in private, and I think we'll avoid anymore trouble in the future."

>"Understood. Thank you, Verdant," Iris almost gives you the hint of a smile.

>Team VIBE arrives in Beacon's courtyard about five minutes before the whole of team RWBY does. Ruby Rose and Weiss Schnee are already prepping their weapons, Blake and Yang arrive a few seconds after you do. Both Ruby and her sister Yang seem to most stoked to practice, while Weiss is more on serious side, but not as cold as Blake is.

>"Shall we?" Weiss steps towards you with her sword at her side.

>"Gladly," you press a button on your scroll, causing your locker to come crashing into the ground nearby.

>Your glaive clanks as the haft extends in your grip, allowing you to more easily twirl the weapon. Each of your team mates do the same, though Balder only attaches the metallic block to his belt, intent on keeping his true weapon a secret for just a little longer. Balder's air of mystery was slightly amusing at first, but now you're getting slightly annoyed by the giant. How are you even supposed to properly command a team when you don't even understand what kind of tools are at your disposal?

>Iris proves to be extremely agile during your training, managing to stave off fatigue for a greater time than anyone present. You take note of her combat strategy, which entails hit and run techniques with a mixture of impressive acrobatics dodges.

>When the training session finally concludes, you perform an impressive staff twirl followed up by an equally dramatic pose. Weiss seem pretty indifferent to people showing off, but Yang certainly approves with a thumbs up.

>"We should do this more often," Yang grins. "Maybe we can switch things up a little and do some sparing together too?"

>"I'd like that," you nod.

>"And don't forget that we've got a motorcycle race this Saturday! I certainly don't plan on missing it!" Yang says confidently.

>"Good. Cause I did either," you smile right back.

>"That's what I like to hear!" Yang pats you on the shoulder.

>When Yang's not looks, you're extra sure to wipe the dust off of your shoulder. You hate it when you get dirt on your combat gear…

>"Boy am I beat!" Yang places her gauntlets into her locker and presses a button on her scroll to send it back to the locker room. "Still think I could go for a small walk before bedtime."

>"You'll have to go on your own this time. I have some reading to get done before tomorrow," Blake says.

>"Suit yourself then," Yang shrugs.

>"I think I'll head back with Blake too," Ruby yawns. "It's been a long day."

>"Weiss?" Yang looks over at the heiress.

>"I'd join you, but I also have some studying to do before it gets too late," Weiss bids you farewell before strutting off towards her dorm.

>Looking around you, Iris has already disappeared to who knows where, while Edread is busy talking with Balder. The conversation between the two is mostly one-sided, Balder still giving the occasional nod of approval to his partner.

>"It takes all kinds of people, huh?" Yang smiles and crosses her arms under her large breasts.

>"What do you mean?" you ask.

>"Both of out teams seem to have some pretty colorful people on them," Yang says. "We've even got the strong silent team mate as well."

>"You mean both Balder and Blake? At least Blake occasionally says something, Balder just sits around and grunts," you say.

>"Maybe, but something tells me that both of them are also hiding something. It's just a hunch though," Yang rubs her chin while watching Blake walk away.

>"I did see Iris staring at Blake strangely not long ago. Could they know each other from somewhere?" you say.

>"I don't think so. It's kind of hard to tell what's going on inside their heads," Yang continues to watch Blake. "I kind of feel sorry for her. It just be hard not having that many friends."

>"Some people just prefer to be alone, I guess," you shrug.

>"I find that hard to believe," Yang says before turning her attention back towards the flickering lamp nearby. "Feel like talking for a bit longer?"

>The two of you follow the cobblestone pathway towards one of Beacon Academy's famous gardens, a winding pathway flanked on both sides by exotic flowers and strong standing trees. Following the path, you both come upon a massive fountain that's almost big enough to land a small aircraft on top of. Looking upwards, you're both easily able to see the shimmering stars and Remnant's cracked moon.

>"The night sky looks way better on Patch," Yang says. "There's less city lights to hide the other stars, plus you can see those crazy looking galaxies too."

>"I take it that patch is mostly farmland and woods?" you look into Yang's lilac eyes as she continues to look skywards.

>"Most of it is, yeah. Me, Ruby, and our dad grew up outside of the cities until we started our combat training at Signal," Yang explains, hesitating at first to answer the burning question as she looks over at a nearby rose bush. "Our dad probably misses us bad, especially since me and Ruby are all he's got. I… never really got the chance to meet my mother before she disappeared."

>"Ruby probably has it the worst though, since she was too young to remember her own mother," Yang continues, shifting towards a slightly sadder tone. "Sorry if I kinda just unloaded all that onto you at once. I guess I just felt like you're somebody I could trust, you know?"

>"It's quite alright, Yang," you smile. "And the sentiment is appreciated."

>"How about you, Verdant? How are things with your parents back home?" Yang asks.

>"Probably busy, as usual. Me and my parents didn't have the chance to interact all that much while I was busy with my schooling and combat training," you explain. "Both my father and mother manage the company together, so it was mostly the servants that kept me company, as well as my friends at Nova Academy."

>"Sounds a lot like Weiss' home life probably was. Have you ever met her before because of your family business?" Yang asks curiously.

>"I might have once before, but we never talked or interacted with each other. I do remember standing beside my parents many years ago at a party when they introducing me to Mister and Misses Schnee," you say. "Weiss' father was a very stern and powerful man, even more than my father, I can't remember much about Miss Schnee…."

>"The two of you certainly seem to be getting along well enough though…," Yang trails off before awkwardly changing the subject. "What's up with Weiss' change of mood towards Ruby? They weren't getting along too well yesterday, but things changed somehow."

>"I don't like to spread rumors, but Weiss told me that she spoke with Professor Port after class and had a small change of heart," you say.

>Yang pauses again and looks up at the academy's clock tower, then turns towards you. "I guess we should head back to our dorms soon?" she suggests.

>"Come on, Verdant. You know it's been a long day for everyone," Yang shrugs.

Needless to say, you're more than a little stunned by Yang's reaction, this would have to be the first time a girl has turned down a kiss from you.

>"Dammit," you curse as you feel your ego slightly wounded. "Save that for after the bike race, huh? Sounds like I need to work on my biking skills before then."

The entire walk you reminisce about your various conquests during your time at Nova Academy, like the Atlus girl with the blonde, braided hair who always wore a shortened version of the school uniform. >But now you're probably facing one of your best challenges yet with both Yang and Weiss. The former is a headstrong blonde with mother issues and superhuman strength, the later girl is the heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, and probably the riskiest girl you've even gone after. You can only imagine your fathers reaction to finding out that you're gunning after his business partners daughter.

>You unlock the door to your dorm and find only Edread and Balder inside pouring over several textbooks, Iris apparently never checked in for the night according to Edread. As if on cue, the window to your dorm slides open and your partner Iris leaps into the room without saying a word.

>"What have you been doing for the past few hours?" you ask the faunus.

>"Walking," Iris looks at you with her purple eyes.

>"Were you jumping around on the roofs again?" you shake your head in embarrassment.

>"Everyone else is doing it," Iris says plainly.

>"What do you mean 'everyone else is doing it'?" you ask.

>"Jaune and Pyrrha are up on the roof as well," she points out the window.

>Iris nods her head before kicking off her long boots and gingerly getting into her hammock. Both Edread and Balder do the same and fall into bed about fifteen minutes later, turning off their bedside lamps as they try their best to get some shut-eye. With nothing better to do at this hour, you open to change into your sleeping wear and fall into bed as well.

>"Hopefully my dreams play out a little better than reality did," you tell yourself, closing your eyes and quickly falling asleep.

>Your dream is vague and hazy at first, almost like your bed is a ship sailing through a thick valley of mist. As you try and sit up in your own bed, you feel something heavy preventing you from moving any further. Looking down, you see Yang curled up next to you, resting firmly upon you right arm.

>Underneath the mess of golden blonde hair you can see that she's wearing a pair of black boy shorts, as well as an orange tank top that has her burning heart emblem on the front. Her large breasts are almost enough to give you pause as she steadily breaths next to you, her lilac eyes flickering open as she stretches out her arms and gives a mighty yawn.

>"Morning, Verdant," Yang gives you the heart warming smile. "Hope I didn't keep you waiting too long."

>"Hopefully my alarm doesn't wake me up before I can actually enjoy this dream," you say out loud.

>Yang puts on a sultry face as she reaches down and slowly begins to pull her tank top over her head, her large breasts bouncing one after the other within the confines of her black lace bra. The huntress gladly throws her top over her shoulder into the formless abyss of your dreamland and reaches behind her back to undo her bra, her cheeks glowing as she nervously bites down on her lower lip.

Turning over onto your other side, you see that Iris has already gotten up, though she didn't make a single sound as you'd expect from a strange faunus like her.

>It only takes about half an hour for everyone to go through their morning routine, Iris being the last person to get ready closely followed by you and Edread. Your words of warning to her yesterday appear to have affected her since she goes straight to the bathroom before changing into her school unicorn, even managing to make her hair look nice before joining the three of you.

>"Everyone ready?" you stand up straight as you adjust you tie.

>All three of your team members stand up and give you an affirmative nod.

What should you do first today?

>"Morning everyone!" Ruby hops out of her bed with a cheer.

>"Time for class already?" Yang steps out of the bathroom, slipping on her her school shoes.

>"Did you all at least remember to study?" Weiss asks everyone present.

>"Why do you say that?" Yang rests a hand on her hip.

>"Not sure if you noticed, but Professor Port has been hinting at a 'surprise' test today since we first arrived," Weiss closes her notebook and stands up.

>"Sure we have! Just not last night…," Yang says.

>"Whatever. Let's just hope that it isn't anything too severe," Weiss walks towards the door, standing between you and Blake. "Shall we?"

>Team RWBY joins up with your team before heading over to team JNPRs dorm. Turns out that Pyrrha and Nora were the first girls up, having already gotten dressed for the day ahead. Ren was almost immediately woken up by his energetic friend, but neglected to wake up the team "leader" Jaune. You're not sure if it's a result of them simply forgetting, or them having zero respect for him, but you honestly doubt the later.

>"Everyone at this school is far to forgiving of the bullshit constantly happening around them…," you frown internally.

>"Morning…," Jaune yawns heavily as he rubs the crusts from his eyes. To your horror, he's still wearing that stupid rabbit onesie.

>"Sorry, Jaune! I thought you'd be up by now!" Pyrrha apologizes to her team leader genuinely.

>"It's alright, Pyrrha. I probably shouldn't have stayed up so late anyway," Jaune shuffles towards the bathroom to change.

>"Come on, slow poke!" Nora pushes Jaune into the bathroom. "We've got class in like fifteen minutes!"

>"Gah!" Jaune cries as he's flung forward into the bathroom.

>"That's more like it!" Nora smiles before slamming the door shut behind him.

>Jaune skips most of his morning routine, deciding that showing up to class is probably better than combing his hair and brushing his teeth. Once Jaune exits the bathroom in his school uniform, Nora pushes him towards the door with everyone else following closely behind.

>"Glad someone at this school has a sense of urgency," you shake your head to Jaune who's still being effortlessly pushed by Nora.

>All three of your teams arrive several minutes ahead of scheduled, much to your relief. Professor Port is already at his desk, patiently awaiting the toll of the first bell.

>"Good morning, everyone!" Professor porn smiles from behind is massive grey mustache.

>"Morning, Professor!" Nora waves to the pudgy huntsman as you all take your seats in the front row.

>"I suppose we're having a surprise test this morning?" Weiss asks.

>"Sharp as ever, Ms. Schnee! I hope everyone has been studying in their free time!" Professor Port says.

>"This isn't good…," Jaune grumbles to himself, the dark shadows underneath his eyes giving away his lack of proper sleep.

>The morning bell rings as the last of your fellow students come filing in, everyone taking their seats as Professor Port stands proudly before the class. He begins the class by speaking about the importance of keeping your senses keen, and the benefits of being prepared for anything.

>"-And that's why I've decided to surprise you with a test! Aha!" he poses proudly.

>Professor Port hands out a pile of tests to every individual row, who in turn pass it across to everyone else. The test starts about fifteen minutes after the ringing of the bell, Professor Port giving everyone ample time to finish before the end of class. The air is thick with tension as everyone scribbles away on their test sheets, some clearly having a harder time than others.

>Looking across from you at team RWBY, you notice that Weiss and Blake are taking the test the most seriously. Weiss has an almost arrogant aura about her as she finishes her test and looks it over one last time, a perfect record! Yang and Ruby are certainly less serious about the test, and more fun-loving than the others in your class.

>Turning your head, you notice that Jaune is struggling to make any progress on his test. The eraser on his pencil has been worn down to the metal bit, his fingers digging deeply into the wood of his desk. You almost feel sorry for the dope, almost.

>With plenty of time to spare, you place your pencil down on your desk before looking over your completed test one last time. Name looks perfect, all the dots perfectly penciled in, and not an error to be found! The test is almost as perfect as you are!

>"Pencils down, everyone!" Professor Port calls out. "Well done everyone! Place the sheets on my desk as you leave! I'll see you all bright and early tomorrow morning with the results!"

>"Crap…!" Jaune nearly snaps her pencil in half out of nerves.

>"Did he seriously not finish his test?" you shake your head.

>The second bell rings, everyone in the classroom stand up to deliver their tests before moving on to their next class. Jaune sits in his chair nervously before finally standing up and approaching the front to face the music. You and the others are gone by then though, your interest in what happens next long gone. Jaune eventually does catch up to the group, Pyrrha staying behind to talk with him as he exits the classroom with a heavy sigh.

>"Sooo boring!" Nora's shoulders sag.

>"How did you do, Verdant?" Yang asks you.

>"Probably perfect," you smile.

>"That so?" Yang grins at your comment.

>"And me and Ren can bring the studying snacks!" Nora beams.

>Pyrrha looks over at Jaune as he tries to straighten out his bedhead. "Are you going to be able to study tonight, Jaune? You look like you didn't get enough sleep last night."

>"Of course he's tired! He was up all night reading comic books under his bed covers!" Nora says.

>"Nora! You said you wouldn't tell anyone!" Jaune glares at the redhead as you enter the history classroom.

>Half a minute before the bell rings, you see a white and green blur rush into the classroom. Professor Oobleck stands in front of his desk and takes a quizzical sip from his coffee cup, immediately noticing Jaune's rugged appearance.

>"Ah, Mr. Arc! It's good to see someone in this class is taking the time to study the material I've assigned!" Oobleck smiles at his student.

>"Actually I was-" Jaune tries to explain before the Professor presses a button on his scroll.

>The lights in the classroom begin to dim as a hologram appears before the professors desk, hovering just above the central stage.

>"Today we will be returning to the Faunus War to discuss the impact it had on Remnant's trade, as well as the sociopolitical impact it had on Vale in particular!" Oobleck presses another button on his scroll, causing a movie to start playing. "I'd suggest that you all take in depth notes during the presentation!"

>The video presentation lasts over an hour and twenty minutes, immediately followed by a followup lecture by the caffeinated Huntsman. Just when you think your hand can't take anymore note-taking, the bell rings, bringing everyone's pain to an abrupt ending. Turning your head to the side, you see that the rest of team VIBE have taken equally detailed notes during the class.

>"Finally!" Yang stands up.

>"I think my hand is going to fall off…," Ruby whines.

>"Let's get lunch before I starve to death!" Nora leaps out of her seat.

>"Second," Ren says.

>Without further delay, your three teams make their way to the cafeteria for lunch. Most of the tables are already occupied when you arrive, the second and thirst year students mostly grouped within the western half of the bustling cafeteria. You and the others retrieve your meals for the day and head over to your usual window seats on the opposite side of the room, close to a group of stray second year students.

>"Isn't the girl that Cardin was throwing stuff at?" Blake looks over at a girl with long rabbit ears.

>"She's a member of team CFVY, I think her name is Velvet?" Pyrrha says as everyone takes their seats.

>"I think she can hear us…," Yang comments as Velvet turns her head to look behind her.

>Edread awkwardly waves at the girl who quickly looks away, almost like she thinks he's making fun of her somehow.

>"At least there's no sign of Cardin," Jaune comments as he lazily digs into his food.

>As you eat your food, you notice a stay newpaper laying next to you on the table. Normally you wouldn't pay much heed to such an incredibly dated form of news media, but the title still manages to grab your attention. 'Mysterious Lights Over The Harbor' the paper reads, a small article detailing recent sightings and sounds from Vale's local harbor.

>"Probably just a fluff piece since nobody is buying their paper," you tell yourself.

>"Watcha lookin' at, Verdant?" Yang asks, grabbing the newspaper off the table. "Sounds like somebodies up to something in Vale!"

>"Let me see!" Ruby grabs the paper and gives the article a quick scan. "I wonder if that Torchwick guy and his gang have anything to do with this."

>"What makes you think he's behind it?" Yang asks curiously.

>"Well, before he escaped from prison, crime in Vale way almost non-existent," Ruby says.

>"It was mostly White Fang members before him, wasn't it?" Yang asks.

>"Yeah, kinda weird…," Ruby comments.

What should you do?

1. "Probably a whole lot of nothing. We should focus on our classes and studying tonight."

2. "How about we check out the docks this weekend after our bike race?"

3. "Feel like having a rematch during combat training today Ren? Nora?"

4. "Why not go and talk with Velvet, Edread?"

5. "We need to come up with tactical team attack names for the future."

>While the others are discussing crime within the Kingdom of Vale, you zone-out for a brief moment to focus on the various crimes that have been taking place. First you have the escalating attacks on your families trains, now you have mysterious lights in the harbor. There's no doubt in your mind that it's criminals like the White Fang stealing Dust for their little "revolution" across Remnant.

>"You know, things have been pretty boring around Beacon…," you tell yourself, considering your possibilities before speaking out loud. "How about we check out the docks this weekend after our bike race?"

>"I'd be down," Yang grins at the thought of a little adventure.

>"You mean you actually want to investigate this yourself? Isn't that a job for the police?" Weiss looks at you as if you just suggested the group go Ursa riding through the halls of Beacon.

>"Weiss is right. We should leave it to the police," Blake says.

>"What's the matter, Blake? Are you a scaredy cat?" Yang jokes with a playful wink.

>"Of course not!" Blake glares at her partner more nervously than expected.

>"Then it's sealed! We're going to do some investigating down by the docks after our bike race!" Yang holds her fist in the middle of the table.

>"Yay!" Ruby bumps Yang's fist.

>"I can't believe I'm agreeing to this…," Blake gives a half-hearted first bump.

>"Ugh, fine!" Weiss rolls her eyes.

>"If there are thieves plaguing the city, I believe that it's the duty off every citizen to see to their capture," Edread bumps Yang's fist eagerly.

>"That's the spirit!" Yang nods with a grin.

>Both Iris and Balder join in on the moment with their own fist bumps to seal the deal between teams RWBY and VIBE.

>"Are you guys interested in join us?" you look over at Pyrrha.

>"Weren't you doing it this Saturday night? Me and Jaune are gonna be busy, but we could probably join later," Pyrrha says.

>"But Ren and me can still join them, right?" Nora asks eagerly.

>"Don't I get a say in this?" Ren sighs, already knowing the answer.

>"I don't mind if you two go without us," Jaune says.

>The school bell rings overhead as you finish the last of your lunch and all come to agreement on what to do for the upcoming weekend. Yang is almost fuming with excitement at the idea of doing some investigating in town, even if it could untimely turn out to be a wild Nevermore chase. Any kind of break from the monotony of your daily routine would be a fair one.

>"Are we going to be staking out the docks for long?" Nora asks. "Because if we are, I'm going to bring some snacks!"

>"I doubt anything will become of this, Nora," Weiss says dryly.

>"There's still nothing wrong with being prepared," Yang adds.

>You and the other students file into the combat training room where Glynda is already waiting. Everyone takes their seats and listens to the Professor as she begins her lecture of the day. Taking out your notebook and readying your trusty pencil, you begin scrawling down everything Glynda says in preparation for your future test.

>The entire lecture focuses on the various kinda of terrain a Huntsman is likely to encounter outside of the safety of the four Kingdoms. Glynda discusses the advantages and disadvantages of each, as well as how to adjust yourself accordingly to your surroundings. Before you know it, the long lecture has ended and the second to last bell has already rung.

>"Please review your notes after your final class in preparation for tomorrow. We'll be continuing this lecture in greater detail after lunch tomorrow," Glynda gives a soft smile to the glass before taking her leave.

>"Kind of surprising that Mantle isn't just ice and snow all the way up north," Yang comments as she stands up.

>"I wonder what would happen if a beowolf fell into one of those acidic hot-springs… eww," Nora says.

>"Remember how someone got taken out by one of the geysers during that last Vytal Tournament? It might looks something a little like that," Ruby recounts the tournament from two years ago.

>"The faunus with the body armor?" Yang asks.

>"I think he was supposed to be some sort of crab actually," Ruby says with her finger rested upon her dainty chin in contemplation.

What should you do now?

1. Strike up a discussion about the Vytal Festival.

2. Head straight to Professor Peach's class without a word.

3. Ask Weiss about life in Mantle and Atlus.

4. See if you can get Balder to tell you about Atlus (Probably won't work).

5. Find out if any of the others want to go shopping before the bike race.

After months a silence, I have returned to finish what I started. Assuming everyone doesn't want to kill me right now, I'm gonna post the latest update in a few hours before continuing with the story. I was feeling pretty damn demoralized by V4 & V5 being… less quality than normal.

Plans have been drawn up for the future of this cyoa in my head, and I hope to continue this thing in a similar format to the show. Each part of the story begin divided into 'volumes' with their own plots and sub plots, all culminating in some much bigger.

We're going to continue right were we left off, after Glynda's combat training class. If you guys remember, you've already made plans to race motorbikes with Yang this weekend and do some snooping around the docks later. Yang and Weiss seem to be the current best girls, and the tug-of-war might never end.

>"I'm actually looking forward to this years Vytal Festival now that we're actually allowed to compete," you say, making your way down the halls of Beacon.

>"It's gonna be so awesome!" Ruby clasps her hands together joyfully. "We'll probably get to see more cool weapons than ever before!"

>"And get to try foods we're never tasted before!" Nora joins Ruby in gushing over the upcoming festival.

>"Fighting with other Huntsmen and Huntresses in training, and maybe meeting new people will definitely be on the top of my list," Yang says, smirking at her little sister's display. "Does that mean that everyone here's gonna be competing too?"

>Yang looks over at you, Edread, Iris, and Balder curiously, but already expecting an answer.

>"But of course! We'd never miss a chance like this!" Edread says proudly. "I'm sure that my entire family back home will be expecting us to at least reach the finals!"

>"It could be… fun?" Iris says softly.

>Fun isn't exactly a word you imagined existed in the pale faunus' vocabulary. Perhaps Iris is finally beginning to understand how to socialize now that she's finally living among civilized society? Regardless, you're not going to let a chance to show off in front of millions of people slip by you.

>Teams VIBE, RWBY, and JNPR enter Professor Peach's lecture hall before taking their usual seats in the front row. After the bell rings, the old man slowly enters the classroom and brings up a hologram projection. You make detailed notes for over an hour as the Huntsman dryly going on about the various species of trees found within the kingdom of Vale.

>Hours later, the last bell of the day ring, causing the entire room to sigh with relief. Professor Peach gives everyone in the classroom their required reading assignments for the night before slowly making his exit. Surprisingly, Cardin hasn't messing with Jaune all that much, not that you really care.

>"Should we all meet up for another study session?" Ren asks the three teams.

>"I suppose, but let's keep this one short," Jaune says. "I've got things to do tonight."

What shall you do now that classes are over for the day?

1. Head straight to your dorm room and get ready to do some studying.

2. Make your way to the cafeteria and grab some snacks for later.

3. Take time to discuss battle tactics with your team before you study. Maybe you can come up with some team attack names?

4. Stick with team RWBY for now, and maybe learn more about Weiss' life in Atlus. Or maybe ask Yang if she'd be interested in exploring the town before the big race.

5. Make a quick call with your scroll and book one of your servants to deliver your motorbike Saturday afternoon.

>Returning to your dorm room, you stand at the foot of your bed and discuss tactics with your team while RWBY and JNPR get ready.

>"What exactly did you have in mind, Verdant?" Edread asks, standing with his hands on his belt.

>"I've been going over our initiation on the first day of school, and I feel like there's still plenty of room to improve," you begin.

>You pause dramatically and look your team over a few times, Balder towering next to his partner, while Iris sits cross legged on the floor. If a teaching from Atlus' military school walked in right now, he'd probably sneer in disgust at the unprofessional sight, probably before sending everyone off to run a few miles in the cold snow.

>"Iris' semblance, and acrobatic skills are definitely one of her greatest strengths," you continue. "But the lack of communication is going to be an issue, so I want you to straighten that out as soon as possible."

>"Might I make a suggestion?" Edread speaks up.

>"Speak," you say in an official tone.

>"Given her excellent stealth abilities, maybe she should actually remain silence during combat unless absolutely necessary?" Edread begins to pace about the room, hand resting on his chin. "Perhaps we could even develop a sign language system so that she can deliver vital information to us on the battle field?"

>"I like the way you think," you nod with a smirk. "We should probably work on that now before meeting for our study session. Another problem is Balder's uncooperative nature when it comes to communication."

>Balder simply keeps his eyes forward, standing before you as if he was his own CCT tower. Sizing the giant up once, you glare at him before looking to Edread for an opinion.

>"His raw physical strength, and ability to pin even the strongest of enemies down will have to speak for themselves," Edread sighs before giving you a look that tells you everything you need to know. Edread is planning on working with Balder to break him out of his shell, for your sake, and Edread's own.

>"Alright then, let's start coming up with some basic hand signals," you help Iris to her feet.

>You spend several minutes coming up with a few basic gestures and having Iris mimicking them, just to be sure she's paying attention. After that, you sit down and discuss the subject of 'Team Attack' names with everyone.
