I'd agree with you more if Semblances took the form of humanoid spirits. However this comparison is extremely appropriate considering that Yang shouts "ORA ORA ORA" in the trailer for the official Japanese dub by the same company (Warner Bros Japan) that publishes the JoJo anime.

Wouldn't it be funny if there was a section of the Japanese fandom that preferred the original English version over the moonspeak dub? Kind of like how some English speaking fans prefer subs over dubs. It would be a nice, ironic (sorry if I used this word incorrectly) role reversal between Western and Eastern entertainment.
