*Westworld*. Great exploration of https://wiki.lesswrong.com/wiki/Narrative_fallacy in the last few episodes.

TOS. Every series since TNG is degenerate.

TNG and DS9 are the only ones worth watching

I'm watching Enterprise now and liking it a lot. That said, I liked SAO and Attack on Titan.

TNG and DS9 are next, in that order.

I've watched the first episode of DS9 and it sucked. Why do you lie?

It's 7 fucking seasons with close to 200 episodes. When does it get better?

In season 3, when they get the USS Defiant. You can use this guide for the essential episodes of seasons 1 and 2: https://www.reddit.com/r/DaystromInstitute/wiki/algernonguide_ds9

You remember how TNG got better when Riker grew the beard in season two? DS9 gets better when Sisko shaves his head in season four.

So it was allowed to suck for four seasons?

Stargate: Universe started to get good after a season and a quarter, but was canned after two seasons. Yes, I am bitter.

You shut your whore mouth, Stargate: Universe was never good. It sucked so hard it killed the whole franchise. It should have been cancelled sooner.

The Culture series by Iain M. Banks is basically rational!Star Trek. The Culture is what the Federation would look like if it was based on realistic technology, and Contact is their equivalent of Starfleet.

>realistic technology

It has warp drives, come on. It's harder sci-fi than Star Trek, sure, but "harder SF than Star Trek" is like "less racist than The Turner Diaries".
