I visit hacker news for tech related stuff out of habit and I saw this on the first page, well not actually this, this article to be more precise.

Since I'm a believing poltard it immediatly made me lose my shit ( as in fun ) and decided to make a pseudo-bait thread.
On a first look the study looks like absolute shit but I plan on reading it today or later tommorrow except if someone else advices against it.

in retrospect this might not have been the best place to post this and the first post actually seems to imply I'm somewhat anti-{experimental_method}, it was more of a projection of a /lit/ specific meme when people talk about "scientism"
That beeing said I still haven't read this and probably never will because I'm afraid of the physical pain I might encounter if I do, I'm sorry if any of you wasted your time on this.
