What I'm mostly concerned with in the meta sense is the power of the STEM class. Less jobs for STEM nerds lead to STEM nerds losing power. And..of course I don't want to see us losing the few powers we still have.
AI wins. However at the same time seducers also win compared to us. No. That should not happen.
In case some people say that since I believe in Social Darwinism and moral minimalism I should STFU because seducers ruling the world is "natural order" I believe the very action of advocating for my own interests and my sectional interests IS a natural way to attempt to make myself more mighty. When I advocate for something I never care about fairness. Instead I only care about my own sectional interests (i.e. high IQ groups, STEM people, autists). Hence the principles of moral minimalism and Social Darwinism are applied in my advocacy.

I believe in amoral Hobbesianism which is something very few people dare to believe in. The universe is a fucking dark place and the hereditary elites may not leave us alone. Survival can only be achieved through strength and deterrence while moralizing and begging can not stop disasters.
There is no hope in the social fabric which might not be preserved in the age of AI with certain groups gaining tremendous amounts of power and resources. With the current power balance broken so might social norms and laws. Societies have been maintained by balance of power/terror and when the plebs can't overthrow the elites through military means elites rule with impunity. Those in power will be able to slaughter have-nots for sadistic pleasure or because the mass will no longer be economically productive. Universal Basic Income is basically an unrealistic fantasy. When the Singularity happens there will be no more democracy and those who have the resources if such humans will still exist won't give a shit about you and me.
Leaving the earth and starting an independent colony might be a good strategy to preserve oneself. Alternatively we can try to join the elites by gaining some tech-based or wealth-based power. Might is right. If you do get power then you do have it.

When I feel safe and fulfilled I'm usually pretty altruistic. However I can not feel safe now. Whenever I don't feel safe I usually support extremely selfish and sectional ideas. Furthermore regardless of my views on morality I'm in fact a fairly nice dude who won't actually physically harm anyone. I don't believe that most humans are benign though.
Furthermore this concern is mostly about programming and other systemizing/rational/autistic jobs getting lost. Of course that's not going to make me happy. If AI can replace all systemizing/rational/productive jobs what the hell are we autists going to do? Writing human code or furthering human science as a form of art? Isn't this also awful for you non-autists? If the only employment humans have will be emotionally and socially satisfying other humans then humans will be redundant from the point of view of production of material goods. Then it won't be long before AI eradicate humanity with humanity unable to successfully resist. Sorry. When robots control production they will also have power.
