Is there any way I can get the benefits of caffeine without it triggering my anxiety ? I don't get this problem with energy drinks.

L-theanine is often added to energy drinks to take off the jittery edge of caffeine. It's also found in tea, switch to that instead of coffee.

A cup of tea has around the same caffeine content as soda (25-50mg). It depends on the variety of tea of course, but that's a good ballpark figure to work from, half to a quarter what you'd get from a cup of coffee. Adjust accordingly.
