this double spacing always happens when copying notes from the board to an editor which is why using an editor like pastebins or notepad++ is necessary

if single spaced in an editor it will always post single space

Endchan is the one exception I have found on this matter.

Green links are dead links. A cue to check your spacing and correct link number. It's easy to forget the proper formatting. should be >>post number,space then another link or the description

For good measure and practice copy this list into your editor of choice back space to make it postable and remember that anytime you take a list of notables off the bread this will need to be done. We have all lost our dough at some point and our notables as well so it doesn't hurt to run through how to fix it quick. Better to know than to go blank in a panic. PROMISE

Pastebinsare nothing more than text editors which can be given an url and saved. Most bakers keep notepad++ up for keeping a copy of the dough or for editing notables.Not sure what Mac uses but I know there is similar used. Most bakers keep a copy of the op page and one page of notables with previous list because formatting a new page is hell and impossibru on the fly.

Pastebin.com was used by bakers for a long time but the co decided to censor Trump so it could no longer be used. It also went down a few times so bakers looked for an alternative. Qbin was written by newsbaker to keep doughs, give tripcodes to bakers if they wanted and was a perfect clone and bake editor. Newsbaker stopped paying for the site after a year so it disappeared. Hastebin.com was used but also became unstable with increased traffic. Ghostbin.com has been used and seems stable but bakers decided on Controlc.com as the pastebin of choice. QRB uses fullchan.net as it is written by JW, has a larger screen size and is more like pastebin and qbin in appearance and fucntion for the OG.

Of note, OG bakers did a lot of copy pasta of dough to notepad++ then back to pastebin to bake. Bakers soon learned how to clone and bake and both fullchan and controlc offer this avenue of baking. It is the technique that will be used to teach baking here.

left click on highlighted controlc or fullchan paste in dough post, open in new tab.

for controlc go to bottom of page, find new version and click. You now have your dough in one step.

for fullchan look at top of page for clone and click it, voila, dough ready to go

2 spaces below Notables heading put in the bread number you will note for with 3 apostrophe's before and after

hit enter 5-6 times and put in the bread number again, no apostrophes

You are now ready to add your notes to the dough

Be aware if you click out of the tab accidentally you can lose your notes and will have to start over

This is why many bakers will keep their notables in notepad++ for safe keeping.

Whatever is comfy for you

TheDoughon QR now is very short and lite. two pages with as many pages of notables as the baker wants to add. That said the previous notables list should be kept to 5-7 lines. Each time a new line is added the bottom line can be removed. Each bake a new notables list is added and one should be removed to trim the dough. That said bakers are free to trim notables down as they like but admin has set the previous list limits so please abide. It makes for a neater look and anyone who wants to explore past breads need only hit the catalog as the breads are up for a couple of weeks.

The two pages of dough taken out of per bread bakes are listed in dough resource thread and contain numerous links to resources for research and up to date international thread. The thread and those int'l threads can all be found in the catalog as well.

open a new catalog tab or index tab, note catalog will say Create Thread at top of page, index will have a thread starter at the top and both will post

Index baking is faster as a rule and certainly if the catalog is borked it's the only way

copy Q Research General #xxxx: bread title Edition and paste in subject of post

add one the number, strike out the old bread title and put a new one in, copy op page to body from dough in paste and drop your banner pic in files slot

Your thread is ready to post/bake

Timing of this goes with experience. The bake should take no more than 3 minutes.

My advice is not to bake the op page until you have your final notable link in dough and are ready to make a dough post. Smoother bake with no shills/bread shitters

Click create a thread or post for op page

will come back to tell you page took too long for submission

click it again, like repost and if it comes back flood detected the thread has gone through, hit refresh and you thread should be ready to post notables and dough

this can take a minute so don't panic, op page "hang" has been a baker bane forever, just learn it and cope

Click on your new thread and you are ready to finish the bread

Notables

Rather than tackle what is notables let me help you spot check what isn't.

If it's an article heading with sauce and no body, it's not notable.

If it's a twat, gab, TS, telegram with no date or timestamp showing it's not. If this information is not back by a reputable sauce then it's not.

Anons know reputable sources. Normies and shills push things that are not. Most important, don't be pushed. Baker has last say. Use it if something is questionable.

click on post number, highlight short description and paste both in notables in dough/notepad++

you decide the notables list drops but traditionally @250, @500, last call @600, final @650, post count is at bottom of page

Notable posts are a good place for baker to ask for handoff next bread or more sauce for a notable, it is not the place to call out shills or anons or personal chatter

These are rules of thumb, nothing in stone, your call

if anons wish to argue a notable post, determine the validity of their arguments and remove accordingly, also your call

Once baked that notable can't be changed unless you are determined a shill baker or you ask for it to be

BV's/BO are loathe to change notables, period because it is a baker's job to do so and admin doesn't mess with content

BE WISE ABOUT THIS, you don't have to be perfect

once you've dropped your final notables list grab the post link and put in dough

Rule of thumb has been 3 notables lists up each bread, not in stone, baker's call

trimming the dough is a must and you do it before the bake

I do it when I first get dough, your call

keep two notables lists up with your new notables space ready to go, all others are put in previous list and then deleted from the dough

cut the previous list down to 5-6 lines

Notables are now trimmed and neat

QRBannershave been determined to be limited by use of a lighter background, a certain large perspective of iwo jima flag raise and limited words. This was done to stop shill bakers from mocking qr with inappropriate banners. I am not an artist or memer in any way, shape or form and therefore I go to the catalog to find an appropriate banner. As a side, I still like the "quantum" banner that is not allowed and hassle admin for it every once in a while for good measure. They are polite but firm with me. Meta thread is a good place to ask BO for approval of a new banner. Dropping it to gain popularity and approval is iffy as it will be replaced if not approved. Be prepared for it.

go to the catalog to find acceptable banners, click on the ones you want to enlarge and save to a banner file

Fast bake set up

1.in red text tag dough post and in red text post Confirm Handoff

2.baker will answer in red text Handoff confirmed

3.tag that post with Acknowledged in red text

4.the bake is now yours

1.grab and open dough in new tab, set up your notables space and trim the dough

2.open new tab to catalog or index and set up your next bake minus bread title only, to be added when determined

3,collect and add your notables as you go

4.final notables drop you need to grab the post link, add to bottom number of notables

5.make sure your bread title is in, the bread # is correct then post/bake the op page

6.find the new thread, copy and paste notables into thread, then hit Save for fullchan or submit for controlc and now you have your new dough

7.make dough post, this is a good time to announce you need to go, need handoff, will ghost @ posts or whatever you want to announce

8.once dough post is done I red test Fresh Bread, hit the op page post number 3 times, copy and then paste in old bread for bread link

some do dough post and some do both links, your call

Voila, you've baked your bread so get ready to do it again
