My wife would like to see President Trump figure out how to turn the name calling (I.e. Sleepy Joe) more into a call action. I don’t know how to do it because I like the nicknames. However, you are now bringing in more and more people that care about this types of things and this type of complaint is what I hear the most from them.

Why are they complaining about this? Because the name calling was a barrier that they had to overcome to see the truth. Which means it remains a barrier for those that want to come over but can’t because they feel as though they would need to defend a behavior that they don’t like and therefore cannot support. I suspect, there is a large portion of the silent majority that is silent with friend because of this. If they felt like they did not have to defend it, they may start having discussions about Trump accomplishments without feeling like they need to defend the name calling.

Make these new people proud they woke up. If you can, give them what they need for a short period of time so they can feel what it is like to be on our side when the hammer drops. Remove the barrier as soon as possible so their heart is with you when the tide turns. Anything we can do for them to accept it when it happens should be done. I understand the reasons for it then and now, and I also agree with my wife and the strategy.
