O’Rourke’s Own Criminal Record
Beto O’Rourke had found himself in trouble with Texas law enforcement twice in the 1990s.
According to court documents obtained in 2012 by a congressional opponent, and then relayed though a campaign ad aired in El Paso, O’Rourke had been arrested in 1995 for breaking and entering, as well as attempted burglary, in which he defended in a Washington Post interview stating it was a “prank gone awry.”
O’Rourke was arrested again in 1998 for driving under the influence, in which he did not defend, and called the incident “stupid” and regretted his decision, also stating that he was .
Another point in the video showed the then-councilman of El Paso publicly intoxicated dancing with a women, and then being smacked while lying on the floor seemingly enjoying it. The original video has since been deleted from YouTube, but Another video shot from the night displayed O’Rourke dancing with another woman at the club. It is unknown what happened in between the two videos, nor what is also depicted in the now-deleted spanking video.
O’Rourke won the House race despite the evidence put forth, and was sworn into congress in 2013.

I'm trying to understand why POTUS signed that piece of shit budget that basically fucks over America. Once I got over my utter disappointment and started thinking clearer, I was able to start piecing a few things together. I'm thinking why was POTUS blasting out that he was going to sign the bill and declare a national emergency. He isn't one to "trumpet" his moves in advance. Then I read where he can get most of the funding from other sources without the emergency. Then I listened to the rose garden talk and POTUS lined out how the liberals would react and the lawsuit would end up in the 9th Circuit Court and eventually in the lap of the Supreme Court. Then low and behold suddenly Ginsburg is suddenly well enough to come back to work. I'm wondering now if this wasn't the plan in order to smoke her out.
Sometimes its difficult to trust the plan. After years and years of disappointment, trust doesn't come easy for me. But I am trying.

Although the property is shared with other family members, there was no answer when DailyMail.com visited the home earlier today – although evidence of the police raid could be seen in the badly dented door
The two men had flown to Africa the day after the January 29 attack on Smollett which took place close to his apartment building on East Water Street.
Smollett, 36, initially said the attack appeared to be racially motivated and claimed his assailants shouted ‘this is MAGA-land’ as they punched and kicked him.
He also told police he did not recognize his attackers. Cops later released a grainy video showing two men walking away from the crime scene.
Although Smollett said he did not know who attacked him, both brothers are known to the actor and he follows them on social media.
Their shared Instagram account also features a video of them working out at the private gym in Smollett’s luxury apartment block.

The most substantial gun measure to go before the House Judiciary Committee passed on Wednesday and, if passed by Congress in full, could pave the way for the creation of a federal gun registry that Democrats have supported in the past.
The bill is now headed to the House floor for a vote, while little is known about how it could be enforced.
The measure, which underwent nine hours of deliberation in the committee before being passed by a 21-14 vote, would require federal background checks for private gun purchases in the U.S., according to the Washington Post.

Interdasting review of "Z" (1969 film) on imdb
When the preview of "Z" was shown at the Oscars, it received a standing ovation. I didn't know why until I saw the movie. The Oscar forced it to be shown in the United States. At the time, the US backed the military government in Greece. The totalitarian government represented a stand against communism. This movie depicts the true story of a beloved olympic athlete who became a doctor and began speaking out against his Greek government. For that, he was murdered. This is about a brave investigator who begins to search for the origin of the orders to have the doctor killed.
It leads to the downfall of a country. Mikis Theordorakis wrote the music from house arrest in Greece and it was smuggled out to be placed on the film. Yves Montand played the lead role and was blacklisted from getting a US Visa for his participation until some strings were pulled and he was allowed a 24 hour visa, to be extended each 24 hours in order to allow him to film "On A Clear Day You Can See Forever". At the end of filming,that night he made a surprise appearance on Johnny Carson's Tonight Show. He told the story about "Z" and commented that he was in the care and custody of US Immigration and the FBI. The camera panned right and a dark suited man slid quickly behind the curtain. He apologized for his abruptness, but his visa expired at midnight and he had to get to the airport. When I saw these things, I was shocked my government would take a movie so seriously. When it showed up in an obscure movie theater in Houston, I had to go. I was the only person buying a ticket just after noon that day. Upon entering the theater, a dark suited man was sitting in the lobby. I walked into theater and then stuck my head back out to see what the only other individual in the theater was doing. He was stepping away from the ticket booth. I watched as he walked the short distance to my car, took out a notebook and wrote in it while looking at my license plate. This is how it happened. It was 1969. J. Edgar Hoover had stated publicly that no truly loyal American would pay money to see such a movie. It was unpatriotic. Newspaper articles that spring reported it.

Moscow court orders US investor of Baring Vostok to be held in custody over $37mn fraud allegations
The founder and senior partner of Baring Vostok private equity fund, Michael Calvey, will be detained in Moscow for two months after his bail got rejected. The US citizen is accused of a large-scale fraud involving a Russian bank.
The investor was put in pre-trial custody by a Moscow court on Saturday. The court rejected the request of Calvey’s defense to release him on 5 million rubles ($75.5 thousand) bail. Calvey's defense has already vowed to challenge the detention order.

Rock band REM on Friday dubbed President Donald Trump a “pretend” world leader after he shared a video taunting congressional opponents featuring one of their songs.
In the video Trump tweeted Thursday, excerpts from the president’s State of the Union speech are interspersed with clips of congressional opponents, including Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Senator Bernie Sanders and Senator Mitt Romney, looking glum while REM’s 1992 track Everybody Hurts plays.
In a tweet from their official account Friday, the band tweeted “World Leader PRETEND!!! Congress, Media–ghost this faker!!! Love, R.E.M.”
The message is a reference to their 1988 track of the same name, which the band released a previously unissued version of in 2016 for a collection of anti-Trump tracks.
The song features the lyrics “I raised the wall/ And I will be the one to knock it down.”
On Friday the video appeared to have been removed from Trump’s Twitter feed.
MSNBC reported, citing a source with knowledge of the incident, that the video had been removed following a legal challenge from REM’s publishers. Twitter did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
REM bassist Mike Mills had in a tweet urged Twitter boss Jack Dorsey to take action over the video, which was originally posted by a Twitter account named @CarpeDonktum.
"The assholes @CarpeDonktum created the meme. #PresidentAsshole retweeted it. Measures have been taken to stop it. @jack you need to get on this," tweeted Mills.
"So the meme’s fair use. I LOVE the 1st Amendment! Meme away, folks. But that takes nothing away from what a fraudulent con man @realDonaldTrump is. #WorldLeaderPretend."
He later shared a link to a tweet reporting the video's removal, quipping "winning," in reference to President Trump's campaign refrain.
It would not have been the first time Trump has provoked the ire of the band after unauthorised use of their material.
Trump and other presidential candidates were issued with a legal warning to stop using the trackIt’s the End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine) after launching their presidential bid in 2015.

Defrocking means McCarrick can no longer call himself a priest or celebrate the sacraments, although he would be allowed to administer to a person on the verge of death in an emergency.
The allegations against McCarrick, whose fall from grace stunned the U.S. Church, date back decades to when he was still rising to the top of the hierarchy there. 'You Lie, You Die': Cops Admit to Lying About Raid that Left Innocent Couple Murdered
(Support Free Thought) - Houston, TX — A botched drug raid last month shook the nation as a couple was killed by police in their own home and four officers shot. Now, after controversy and rumors have swarmed the case, the Houston police department has admitted that the entire raid was based on the lies of one of their own.
As TFTP reported last week, one of the officers involved in the raid was suspended and the department refused to elaborate as to why. Now we know. This criminal cop, lied on the sworn affidavit that led to a raid in which two innocent people were murdered by Houston police officers.
“That’s totally unacceptable. I’ve told my police department that if you lie, you die,” Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo said Friday. “When you lie on an affidavit, that’s not sloppy police work, that’s a crime.”
As KHOU reports,
The case agent obtained a search warrant to conduct the no-knock raid on Jan. 28 after he swore a confidential informant bought heroin at the home the night before. He said the informant told him he saw a 9mm handgun and a large amount of heroin in the house.
Turns out, there never was a drug buy at the house or an informant who saw a large amount of heroin and weapons.
When detectives with HPD’s Special Investigations Unit interviewed the veteran case agent at the hospital, they asked for the name of his informant.
The officer wasn’t able to talk, but he wrote down the name of an informant he said bought the heroin. Investigators then interviewed that informant, who told them he wasn’t involved in a drug buy on Harding Street. He also said the case agent sometimes paid him for work he didn’t do, according to the affidavit.
Investigators interviewed the case agent again and said he wrote down a different informant’s name. That informant said he worked with the case agent on a buy on Jan. 25 but it was at a different house in the Third Ward, about five miles from Harding Street.
Both informants named, along with all other informants the case agent had worked with in the past, were shown photos of Tuttle and Nicholas and their home. None recognized the couple or the home, according to investigators.

Back in November, I predicted all this. I wrote my most controversial column. After the GOP lost the House, I predicted the big winner of the November midterms would be … President Donald Trump.
I'm sure some of you thought I was stark raving mad. But my November prediction has proven 100 percent accurate. Back then, I prophesied that if Democrats got in charge, they would embarrass themselves, expose themselves and destroy themselves. The craziest and most radical Democrats would no longer be hidden.
I was on the money. The best thing that ever happened to Trump was Democrats taking the House.
Have you seen the latest polls? At this writing, President Trump has 50 percent approval according to always-accurate Rasmussen Reports. That's higher than Barack Obama's 48 percent at the 24-month mark of his presidency. Yes, Trump is just about the most popular he's ever been – even after the longest government shutdown in American history.
It is all happening as I predicted. The more Democrats appear in the media, the more popular Trump becomes. Democrats are in charge. Their crazy is out in the open for everyone to see. The Democrat Party is dangerous, extreme, radical, reckless and really, really crazy.
Take just this past week. Freshman Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar, the first Somali-American Muslim member of Congress, has been lashing out at Jews in anti-Semitic tirades. It got so bad that her own Democratic leadership strongly condemned her Jew hatred. She has called Israel "evil." She has defended people trying to join ISIS. She seems to think there is no difference between Israel and Iran. She accused pro-Israel groups of bribing Congress. She sounds like someone who would be more at home in the parliament of Iran.
The Democrats who run Virginia are trying to top her. The governor chose a photo of someone in blackface and someone in a KKK hood for his medical school yearbook page. The attorney general had to resign from a national AG organization for his own blackface episode. The lieutenant governor is accused of sexual assault by two women.
And let's not forget that the Virginia governor and his fellow Democrats tried to pass a bill allowing third-trimester abortions. This is mass murder glorified as "pro-woman" by Democrats.
But I've saved the best for last: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the new queen of crazy. She just released her Green New Deal. It read like a "Saturday Night Live" comedy routine or a parody by The Onion. But the joke was on her.
A draft version of the proposal demanded "total economic security" for those "unwilling to work." It envisioned the elimination of air travel and of cars, boats and military vehicles that use gas. It proposed retrofitting every single building in America and the end of cow farting. I kid you not.
Ocasio-Cortez later walked back some of this absurdity, but now I know why she and her fellow Democrats wore white at the State of the Union. Clearly, they all were given a day pass from Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan earlier in the day.
But please, crazy Democrats, just keep talking. As I predicted, you're the best thing to ever happen to President Trump. You are his re-election insurance policy. You're talking Trump into a landslide.
