Jailed for touching child
A 14-month jail sentence was handed out in Kelowna court Friday for sexually touching a child – a case that brought a tear to the eye of the judge who heard the case.
Jeremy Carlson, a transgender person who has since transitioned to a woman and legally changed her name to Riley, was charged in 2016 after the victim, who was under 10 years old, came forward to her mother.
While Carlson was originally charged with sexual assault and sexual interference of a person under 16, she pleaded guilty to the sexual interference charge in November 2017, and the Crown dropped the assault charge.
Carlson's defence had sought a 90-day intermittent sentence, while the Crown had argued a sentence closer to 20 months in jail was more appropriate. On Friday, Justice Monica McParland handed down the 14-month sentence, adding that the appropriate sentence should strongly denounce crimes against children.
During sentencing, McParland said Carlson sexually touched the victim on nine different occasions, between 2015 and 2016.
The case garnered national attention this past summer when Carlson's defence, Jacqueline Halliburn, argued McParland should remove herself from the case after the judge reportedly cried when the victim's impact statement was read in court. Justice McParland said she had simply “dabbed a tear from her eye with a tissue,” and chose to stay on the case.
In a victim impact statement, the victim's mother said her daughter suffers from nightmares, anxiety, apprehension of being outside and is fearful of encountering Carlson again.
During sentencing, McParland noted Carlson had a “tumultuous family life,” and has used drugs and sex to cope with difficulties. She has since attended sex offender treatment therapy sessions, which her doctor says has “somewhat reduced” her risk to reoffend.
McParland noted that when it comes to placement of transgender inmates, BC Corrections makes decisions on a case-by-case basis, and if Carlson is initially placed in a male institution, she can apply to be transferred to a female one.
Following the jail sentence, Carlson will be under probation conditions for two years, which includes avoiding parks, playgrounds, community centres or any place where people under 16 may be present, unless with the written permission of her probation officer.
Carlson will be on Canada's national sex offender registry for a 20-year period.

Israeli Police Fire Tear Gas at Palestinian Christians Protesting Israeli Exhibit Mocking Jesus Christ
Hundreds of Palestinian Christians and their supporters gathered Friday in Haifa, in northern Israel, to protest an Israeli exhibit that featured Ronald McDonald taking the place of Jesus on the cross.
The so-called “McJesus” exhibit was created by Finnish artist Jani Leinon, and has been on display at a gallery in Haifa as part of a gallery exhibition called ‘Sacred Goods’.
It recently came to the attention of church authorities in Haifa, who called for the protest.
The Greek Patriarchate said “While we express freedom of expression, this should not include mocking and targeting our religion and religious figures”.
The Patriarchate added that they blame the municipality of Haifa for this exhibit. They said that the Municipality collects taxes, including from those Christians that were insulted by this exhibit. This was especially insulting because the timing of the exhibit came just as the Greek Orthodox Christians were celebrating Christmas, according to their calendar.
The Israeli authorities claimed that the night before the protest, an unknown person threw a flaming bottle at the museum, causing minimal damage.
During the protest on Friday, Israeli police say that three of their officers were hit by rocks and bottles and injured. Dozens of Palestinian protesters were treated for the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The Israeli Cultural Minister, Miri Regev, on Thursday weighed in on the issue, saying that she had received “ many complaints of serious offense caused to the Christian community’s feelings”, and asked the Director General of Haifa Museums to remove the controversial artwork.

• Once common ground discovered, let them tell you everything they have learned about the topic. Even if you disagree, don’t say so.
• Once the topic is fully explored, compliment them on their knowledge and then ask if they think if it also ties to [blank] (another topic/event/lie you want to make them curious about).
• If they agree, do NOT “dump” on them with information you’ve already learned; ask them to dig into it and agree to speak about it in a week or so.
• During the second conversation, let them be the expert and teach you (keep playing dumb). Be sure to praise them for their open-mindedness and encourage them to keep learning.
• Ask them to learn about another topic that relates to this one and agree to speak again at a predetermined time. Then, let them teach you again, regardless about how much you already know about the topic.
• Ask a LOT of questions; allow them to “sell themselves” on new ideas (people never argue with their own ideas, but they subconsciously “push back” against other people’s ideas).
• Always play dumb; let THEM become the expert.
• Ask for their help “solving a puzzle”; let them BE the expert. For example, "Hey, Dad… you've been around a lot longer than I have. Can you remember any time in our history when the top dogs in the C_A, F_I and D_J have all been fired within the same year? This seems weird to me. Does Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Ohr, Brennan, Clapper and that group have anything in common? I'm lost here, can you help me understand this mess?" Let HIM dig and become the "expert". Works every time.
• Understand that the deeper someone is dug into the opposing viewpoint, the farther they will snap into the other direction once they wake up.
• If someone shares an idea that you believe is wrong/ignorant, do NOT push back; ask, “help me see what you’re seeing”, or “help me understand that better”. The more someone tries to explain something that has no basis, the higher the likelihood they will eventually change their own mind (which YOU can NOT do for/to them).
• Once someone shows a thirst for new knowledge, invite them to share their ideas with a third person while you are also present (the more they view themselves as a mentor/teacher, the more this reinforces their new beliefs).
• When stuck, offer to “switch sides” and debate the topic from their point of view and have them argue from your point of view. This often helps them talk themselves out of their original viewpoint.
• When you have to make a statement (instead of asking a question), open it with a “softening statement”: “Do you think it may be possible that …”, or, “I’m not sure this is right, but I just read that …” This provides possibilities for you and the other person.
• As often as possible, only discuss events that have already happened. When forced to discuss what you think MIGHT happen in the future, use softening statements first (see paragraph immediately above this one).
• Do NOT let the conversation turn into a Red vs. Blue argument. Keep repeating that there’s corruption on both sides of the aisle (point to the huge number of Republican resignations/not running for re-election for both senators and members of congress). Keep the discussion focused on GOOD vs. EVIL!
• Final point: ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT IN EVERY SINGLE CONVERSATION, YOU ARE THE SECOND-BEST SALESPERSON! Get them talking, keep them talking and encourage their passion for digging!
• SHOW the other person that you’ve embraced the teachings of Jesus through your kindness, patience and lack of judgment of their ideas.

Talks broke down last week, with Trump walking out of the White House Situation Room after Democrats said they wouldn’t fund the wall.
“I’m just so frustrated we can’t get in a room and hammer it out,” Graham remarked.
Graham apologized to the federal workers – who are either working without pay or furloughed – but said the shutdown caused “less damage than if we don’t fix our broken immigration system.”
“You’ve got two bad choices here,” Graham said.
Graham, one of the president’s most vocal Senate allies, laid out what he thought would be an acceptable deal to the White House, labeling it “wall-plus.”
Democrats could help the so-called Dreamers or enable immigrants living in the U.S. under a Temporary Protected Status to stay longer if they agreed to fund a southern barrier.
Graham also revealed that he had spoken to Trump in the last 30 minutes, with the president saying that declaring a national emergency to get funding for the wall was his “last option.”
“The president is not going to give in – no wall, no deal – but he’s ready to deal,” Graham said.

Commenting on the matter, National Security Council spokesman Garret Marquis told the WSJ that the council’s task is to coordinate policy and provide the president with options to anticipate and respond to a variety of threats. However, it remains unclear if Trump was aware of Bolton’s request.
“We continue to review the status of our personnel following attempted attacks on our embassy in Baghdad and our Basra consulate, and we will consider a full range of options to preserve their safety and our interests,” Marquis said.
Bolton is well-known for his radical views against Iran. Last year, the Intercept revealed that the senior advisor promised members of the Iranian opposition that the Iranian regime will be overthrown by 2019 during a meeting in the French capital of Paris.
“Before 2019, we here will celebrate in Tehran!” Bolton told members of the Iranian opposition group, People’s Mujahedin of Iran (MEK), according to the Intercept.
This aggressive behavior against Iran could further destabilize the Middle East, which is already witnessing dangerous conflicts in Syria, Iraq and Yemen.

Mexican Police Discover Third Drug Tunnel Near Arizona Border
Mexican authorities suspect that the tunnel was used for human and drug trafficking across the US border.
The tunnel was found in Nogales, Sonora — across the border from Nogales, Arizona, and Mexican police suspect that it was used to smuggle drugs and people, the Arizona Republic reported.
In a video, two police officers are shown opening a manhole underneath extensive drainage channels. These channels are used to ease the flow of runoff water during storms and typically flow north from Sonora into Arizona because of the terrain. They are also often used by smugglers. The police said in the video that the tunnel is 32 feet long, however, they provided limited information beyond that such as the location of the tunnel and how they discovered it.
As the video progresses, it shows the officers inside the tunnel, following it to its point of origin at an unknown location. The officer recording the video is heard asking, "Is that the exit?" A second officer responds "yes" as he pushes open the entrance to the tunnel overhead.

The suicide UAV was apparently launched from Maran, which is the historical heartland of the Houthi dynasty. The Saudi-led coalition believes that the leadership of the Yemeni group are currently hiding in the rough mountainous region.
According to the Yemeni military, this was the third UAV attack in Saada in the last ten days. This shows that the Houthis have stepped up their capabilities to operate these advanced weapon systems.

A US Navy submarine commander was relieved of his duty last summer after paying for ten female prostitutes while stationed in the Philippines.
Captain Travis Zettel lost the confidence to command the attack submarine USS Bremerton and was disciplined back in August following the investigation.
An investigation by the U.S. Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) was launched following a sailor’s tip to the Department of Defense Inspector General’s hotline.
The sailor was apparently told by Zettel that 'requested/ordered ten girls to arrive at the hotel' where they were staying, according to documents obtained by the Kitsap Sun.
The sailor later saw the commander with around ten 'provocatively dressed females outside the front door of the hotel'.
Another sailor, whose name was redacted in the documents released to the Kitsap Sun, was spotted with three 'local females holding onto his arm as he was wandering around' greeting sailors from his command.
The incident occurred March 1 while the sub was ported in Subic Bay, according to documents released to the Kitsap Sun.
Zettel was confronted by NCIS with the allegations and 'admitted culpability in the payment of female accompaniment,' the documents said.
The other sailor was also interviewed but said he 'did not participate in prostitution'. He then asked for a lawyer and that sailor was not 'pursued for disciplinary action', the document states.
Zettel was reprimanded and was relieved of his command in August. He was administratively reassigned to the staff of Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor-based Submarine Squadron 19, Navy officials said.
Zettel became the commander of Bremerton, the oldest submarine before its recent decommission, in August 2016.
'Becoming the 15th commanding officer of the now 35-year-old 'American classic' is a proud moment for me and my family', Zettel said in 2016 after taking control of the sub.
It is not known how many sailors or staff were on duty at the time of the incident.

House passes bill to force Trump to nominate “anti-semitism” head who would monitor criticism of Israel
The U.S. House of Representatives voted 411-1 for a bill that would force President Trump to nominate an anti-Semitism envoy, a position that has been vacant since he took office. The definition of anti-Semitism the position uses includes certain criticisms of Israel.
The bipartisan bill upgrades the current position of Anti-Semitism Envoy to an ambassador rank, which requires the job to be filled within 90 days.
The law states that the Special Envoy shall “serve as the primary advisor to, and coordinate efforts across, the U.S. government relating to monitoring and combating anti-Semitism and anti-Semitic incitement in foreign countries.”
The bill, H.R.221- Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism Act, was sponsored by Rep. Christopher H. Smith [R-NJ-4] and has 87 co-sponsors. Smith’s largest campaign donor was NorPAC, a pro-Israel political action committee.
To become law the bill must next be passed by the Senate and then be signed by the president. If Trump vetoes it, Congress can override this through a two-thirds vote.
The position of anti-Semitism envoy was created in 2004 over the objections of the State Department, which said it wasn’t needed. It was urged by Israeli Minister for Diaspora Affairs Natan Sharansky, who had formulated a new definition of anti-Semitism that includes criticism of Israel.
Previous envoys before or after serving serving in the position worked for the Israel lobbying organization AIPAC, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
The second envoy, Hannah Rosenthal, adopted the Sharansky definition of anti-Semitism for use by the State Department. This is part of an international campaign to insert the new Israel-centric definition in governments and other bodies around the world.
The Times of Israel reports that the impetus for the current bill was “Trump’s failure to pick someone for that opening over the last two years, despite frequent calls from Jewish groups.”
The lawmaker who voted against the bill was Republican Justin Amash from Michigan, a civil libertarian who is Chairman of the House Liberty Caucus.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), one of whose missions is to advocate for Israel, has been heavily promoting the legislation, which was first introduced last year. The ADL, which includes certain criticisms of Israel as “anti-Semitic,” has issued reports that there has been a “rise in anti-Semitism.”
Some have disputed the ADL numbers, since the ADL does not make public the incident reports on which it bases its claims, since some include actions or statements regarding Israel rather than bigotry, and since the widely publicized bomb threats against Jewish institutions turned out to be the work of a Jewish Israeli. Similarly, some reportedly “anti-Semitic” cemetery damage turned out to have been caused by neglect.
The new Congress has been quick to take up legislation promoted by the Israel lobby. The first Senate bill of 2019 is a composite bill that would give Israel billions of dollars and “combat” the campaign to boycott Israel over its human rights violations among its measures.

Around 109 lobbyists and corporate executives are named in a memo welcoming the guests to the seaside resort in Puerto Rico. NCIS grabbed ahold of the uncorroborated allegations, even with the lack of evidence and numerous eye witnesses, including 2 Iraqi generals, that came forward to testify that the events never occurred.
The accusers claimed Eddie stabbed a teenage ISIS combatant to death. However, Eddie was a medic and was in a room full of people who witnessed him try to save the terrorist’s life. Eddie hoped to be able to interrogate the insurgent later. The ISIS member died from his injuries. Numerous platoon members and Iraqi forces witnessed this.
The accusations were so ludicrous that friends, family and fellow seals laughed it off saying, “No way! This did not happen!” thinking it was so crazy it could never go anywhere. They were shocked when NCIS arrested him on ‘’’9/11’’’ and made his sons stand on the sidewalk, in their underwear, while they raided his house. It was also leaked that NCIS deliberately withheld evidence that would have helped Eddie’s case.
During his arraignment, a Jag officer claimed that, “Eddie is the reason that ISIS does what they do. Eddie is Manna from Heaven as a recruitment tool for ISIS.” The Jag officer even said, “I ‘’’empathize’’’ with ISIS, you’re the reason they do what they do.”

Summary
Under the United States Constitution and congressional practice, Members of Congress may have
their services ended prior to the normal expiration of their constitutionally established terms of
office by their resignation or death, or by action of the house of Congress in which they are a
Member by way of an “expulsion,” or by a finding that in accepting a subsequent “incompatible”
public office, the Member would be deemed to have vacated his congressional seat.
Under Article I, Section 5, clause 2, of the Constitution, a Member of Congress may be removed
from office before the normal expiration of his or her constitutional term by an “expulsion” from
the Senate (if a Senator) or from the House of Representatives (if a Representative) upon a formal
vote on a resolution agreed to by two-thirds of the Members of that body present and voting.
While there are no specific grounds for an expulsion expressed in the Constitution, expulsion
actions in both the House and the Senate have generally concerned cases of perceived disloyalty
to the United States, or the conviction of a criminal statutory offense which involved abuse of
one’s official position. Each house has broad authority as to the grounds, nature, timing, and
procedure for an expulsion of a Member. However, policy considerations, as opposed to questions
of authority, have appeared to restrain the Senate and House in the exercise of expulsion when it
might be considered as infringing on the electoral process, such as when the electorate knew of
the past misconduct under consideration and still elected or re-elected the Member.
As to removal by recall, the United States Constitution does not provide for nor authorize the
recall of United States officers such as Senators, Representatives, or the President or Vice
President, and thus no Member of Congress has ever been recalled in the history of the United
States. The recall of Members was considered during the time of the drafting of the federal
Constitution in 1787, but no such provisions were included in the final version sent to the states
for ratification, and the specific drafting and ratifying debates indicate an express understanding
of the framers and ratifiers that no right or power to recall a Senator or Representative in
Congress exists under the Constitution. Although the Supreme Court has not needed to directly
address the subject of recall of Members of Congress, other Supreme Court decisions, as well as
the weight of other judicial and administrative decisions, rulings, and opinions, indicate that (1)
the right to remove a Member of Congress before the expiration of his or her constitutionally
established term of office is one which resides exclusively in each house of Congress as expressly
delegated in the expulsion clause of the United States Constitution, and (2) the length and number
of the terms of office for federal officials, established and agreed upon by the states in the
Constitution creating that federal government, may not be unilaterally changed by an individual
state, such as through the enactment of a recall provision or a term limitation for a United States
Senator or Representative. Under Supreme Court constitutional interpretation, since individual
states never had the original sovereign authority to unilaterally change the terms and conditions of
service of federal officials agreed to and established in the Constitution, such a power could not
be “reserved” under the Tenth Amendment. Even the dissenters in the Supreme Court decision on
the Tenth Amendment and term limits, who would have found a “reserved” authority in the states
regarding “qualifications” of Members of Congress, conceded that the exclusive authority to
remove a sitting Member is delegated to each house in the expulsion clause of the Constitution,
and that with respect to “a power of recall … the Framers denied to the States [such power] when
they specified the terms of Members of Congress.”

Good Afternoon Everyone!
I had an interesting conversation with a fellow at the Pittsburgh 2A rally, I was able to speak with one of the speakers, He had an interesting message that caught my attention,
So at the conclusion of the rally, we had an opportunity to speak to with the speakers.. I just couldn't help myself. I asked this Speaker if the number 17 meant anything to him… He replied, with a grin.. well Q is the 17th letter of the aphabet…
so that opened a door to discussion of course. He said that Q's Message needs to be brought to the normies, which is what motivated him to speak. I asked him to send me a transcript of his speech. And he finally did today. The speaker said he had a busy week, but I wanted to share this with you all.
He said he likes to lurk on our board, and enjoys the research that we all provide. He said I was the only Anon that had approached him. He did write on the board a few times asking for people to come find him at the rally.
He wants to spread the message of unity. The speaker obviously was concerned about being doxxed by the public for his views. So he toned his speech down a bit. The speaker said he was working closely with a few pro 2A groups trying bridge the communications gaps and get everyone on the same page.
He felt that there is a lot of division in the 2A community, he wants to try to fix that. People get hung up on every little detail. As he put it.. we can agree to disagree on things. But we should never work against each other. In his speech he talked about that as well.
He said to keep his eyes on Pennslyvania, as he felt its an Epicenter for Corruption. (election fraud etc) he didn't elaborate passed saying that the midterms had an unusual amount of help calls and other issues with the electronic machines. ( someone close to him fielded phone calls)
This is the first time I Have reached out and spoke to another Anon in RL. It was pretty neat. We even share professions… The speaker thinks that a lot of out of state money is being funneled into the state to work on destroying the gun rights in the state.. knowing full well that the mayors campaign was sponsored by Bloomburg.
The speaker also said its important that we all work together to wake up the normies. Use soft language to get them to see the dangers. The speaker said he had to water his speech down to the audience.. he felt that if he went brimstone and fire that he would scare the normies and close them off. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find his speech anywhere else but on facebook live streams. All of the speakers had great messages. However his stuck out the most.

Process leading to expulsion
Presently, the disciplinary process begins when a resolution to expel or censure a Member is referred to the appropriate committee. In the House, this is the Committee on Standards of Official Conduct (House Ethics Committee); in the Senate, this is the Select Committee on Ethics (Senate Ethics Committee).
The committee may then ask other Representatives or Senators to come forward with complaints about the Member under consideration or may initiate an investigation into the Member's actions. Sometimes Members may refer a resolution calling for an investigation into a particular Member or matter that may lead to the recommendation of expulsion or censure.
Rule XI (Procedures of committees and unfinished business) of the Rules of the House of Representatives states that the Committee on Standards of Official Conduct can investigate allegations that a Member violated "any law, rule, regulation, or other standard of conduct applicable to the conduct of such Member … in the performance of his duties or the discharge of his responsibilities". The Senate Select Committee on Ethics has the same jurisdiction. The committee may then report back to their whole chamber as to its findings and recommendations for further actions.
When an investigation is launched by either committee, an investigatory subcommittee will be formed. Once the investigatory subcommittee has collected evidence, talked to witnesses, and held an adjudicatory hearing, it will vote on whether the Member is found to have committed the specific actions and then will vote on recommendations. If expulsion is the recommendation then the subcommittee's report will be referred to the full House of Representatives or Senate where Members may vote to accept, reject, or alter the report's recommendation. Voting to expel requires the concurrence of two-thirds of the members. This is set out in Article 1, Section 5, Clause 2 of the United States Constitution
