Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin called top executives from the six largest U.S. banks over the weekend, he said Sunday on Twitter, an action that followed heavy losses in the stock market last week.

“The CEOs confirmed that they have ample liquidity available for lending to consumer, business markets, and all other market operations,” the Treasury said in a statement.

On Monday, Mnuchin will convene a call with the President’s Working Group on financial markets, which he chairs. The group includes representatives from the Fed, the SEC and the CFTC.

But left unsaid: If he’s that worried, shouldn’t investors be as well?

The unusual and unprompted attempt at reassurance came after the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, -1.81% posted its worst week since 2008 — the height of the financial crisis. It was the Nasdaq Composite’s COMP, -2.99% worst week since 2008 as well, as it dipped into bear-market territory. It was the worst week for the S&P 500 SPX, -2.06% since 2011.

On Sunday, the Treasury Department tweeted that Mnuchin “conducted a series of calls today with the CEOs of the nation’s six largest banks” — Bank of America BAC, -3.07% , Citi C, -3.88% , Goldman Sachs GS, -4.96% , JPMorgan Chase JPM, -2.36% , Morgan Stanley MS, -3.16% and Wells Fargo WFC, -2.00% . “The CEOs confirmed that they have ample liquidity available for lending to consumers, business markets, and all other market operations. He also confirmed that they have not experience any clearance or margin issues and that the markets continue to function properly.”

similarly to what is written in the q post, the spambot uses a 5 prong pre packaged injection, only this time it has a precursor post serving as bait. After an anon takes the bait and replies, the bot searches for "negative" keywords ("bot", "r2d2", "spam", "shill", etc). If it found these words, then the 5 prong pre packaged delivery is injected, meaning 5 automatic posts are inserted, with the first one auto generating the other 4 posts at random designated times with deltas in a range of 10 to 30 minutes. Note that all 4 posts are linked to each other, forming a chain of posts with a common driver (root).

Border Patrol Snags More MS-13 Members, Convicted Sex Offenders Trying To Jump Border

United States Customs and Border Protection say they have arrested at least two more members of the notorious MS-13 gang, and two convicted — and previously deported — sex offenders trying to cross the United States-Mexico border.

The Daily Mail reports that CBP apprehended the four men in four separate incidents ranging across the southern border from Arizona to Texas. All four had had previous run-ins with border patrol.

"Then on Thursday evening, Nogales Station agents arrested a 24-year-old national of El Salvador," the report continued. "During processing, agents conducting records checks learned that he is a member of MS-13, a violent trans-national criminal organization operating in many parts of the U.S."

Specific details weren't available on the other two men, but CBP did report that one was a member of MS-13 and the other had been previously convicted of a sexual crime and deported back to his home country. All four appear to have been booted from the United States between 2012 and 2013 and returned, recently, with the influx of asylum-seeking migrants.

This isn't the first time that MS-13 has been caught hiding among asylum seekers. Back in November, border patrol agents intercepted a member of MS-13 who had been hiding himself in the so-called "migrant caravan."

"Jose Villalobos-Jobel, 29, was arrested Saturday evening near the Calexico Port of Entry by agents who suspected he’d made it into California illegally, US Customs and Border Protection said in a statement," the New York Post reported in late November.
