When searching nude models
Try to use the keyword bio to see if she is on one of the nude model bio sites
Use the name of common sites that offer these photo sets
Try to find another photo from the set. Sometimes one will lead to a mess of reddit copies via Tineye.com and another will pinpoint the earliest appearance.
If there are photos in a set with clothes, use these because there are fewer false positives on model names
Keep an eye out for potential photographer names. In the case of Jana, finding a set photographed by Tkachev made it easy to pinpoint her and skip over some false positives on two similar looking girls.
Recognize that nobody has a complete db of photos. Not Google, not Tineye, not Yandex. Use all three sites
Do not fear foreign language sites
Google translate is good enough for finding clues
Recognize that there are young women who post a few nude photos on Reddit or trade with a nude model on Twitter and are NEVER seen again. Learn to recognize these dead ends.
Learn how to tell the age from photos. One thing is to always hunt down a bio for nude models
Another technique is to take a shot with a normal facial expression, crop out the face an a teeny bit of shoulder so it could be a bikini shot, and then do similarity searches on that using Yandex. You will find lots of NON-NUDE matches. choose some of the NON-NUDE SIMILAR WOMEN and see if you can find confirmed ages. Often possible on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook. This helps train your recognition. Also look at younger teens paying close attention to particular features. You will get better at recognizing true underage skintone, bone structure, etc.
Pay particular attention to blondes. They will drive you crazy because they will show you the limits of your ability to distinguish between two different people. There are, in the nude modelling business, several young blonde women that almost cannot be distinguished without several photos to compare.
Always remember you are supposed to be comparing, identifying a person, not a photograph. One single photo can easily lie due to tricks of light, angle, expression.

The office of the special counsel Robert Mueller has asked the FBI to investigate a plot reportedly led by conservative activists Jack Burkman and Jacob Wohl to offer women large sums of money to lie under oath about Mueller committing sexual misconduct. As part of the ploy, Wohl is accused of creating a completely bogus company, "Surefire Intelligence," to pose as a private investigative agency to frame Mueller. The domain name for their website is registered to Wohl, a phone number on the site directs to his mother's voicemail, and LinkedIn profiles for supposed employees use edited photos of celebrities.
The office of the special counsel Robert Mueller has asked the FBI to investigate a suspected plot linked back to GOP activists Jack Burkman and Jacob Wohl to pay women large sums of money to lie about having been sexually harassed by Mueller. The special counsel's office was also contacted by several reporters who were told about the alleged scheme by a woman identifying herself as Lorraine Parsons, who said a man working for the agency Surefire Intelligence and Burkman offered her around $20,000 "to make accusations of sexual misconduct and workplace harassment against Robert Mueller," according to a copy of the email obtained by Business Insider. It's unclear whether the woman's story is entirely factual. The freelance journalist Scott Stedman, who first reported on the scheme, wrote that after Parsons contacted him, "she wouldn't get on the phone" to discuss her claims and "lied about journalists she was working with." The Atlantic followed up on Stedman's reporting later Tuesday, detailing another instance in which someone who worked for Surefire Intelligence, named Simon Frick, contacted the Vermont Law School professor Jennifer Taub and asked her how much money she would want in exchange for discussing her "past encounters" with Mueller. Taub told The Atlantic she has never met Mueller.
According to its website, Surefire is a "private intel agency that designs and executes bespoke solutions for businesses and individuals who face complex business and litigation challenges." Several journalists on Tuesday said that Wohl was involved in Burkman's and Surefire Intelligence's alleged scheme. When contacted by NBC News, Wohl said he didn't have any role in the matter. But the outlet reported that Wohl's email address is the one listed in the domain records for Surefire Intelligence's website. Calls to a number on the website also reportedly went to a voice mailbox belonging to Wohl's mother.
On Tuesday evening, Stedman tweeted that he visited the address listed on Surefire Intelligence's website in Irvine, California. "A representative of the office tells me they have nothing to do with the company and have no information about it," he wrote. The representative added that "we have absolutely nothing to do with that company." And The New Yorker's Jane Mayer found that a LinkedIn profile for a Surefire employee identified as "Matthew Cohen" appears to be a heavily edited photo of Wohl himself. —Jane Mayer (@JaneMayerNYer) October 30, 2018
It soon emerged that the LinkedIn profiles for several Surefire employees appeared to be poorly edited photographs of actors or models.

Wohl and fellow conservative activist Jim Hoft reportedly wanted the women contacted by Surefire Intelligence to sign sworn affidavits saying Mueller assaulted them at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City on August 2, 2010. But The Washington Post reported that on that day, Mueller was summoned to Washington, DC, to perform jury duty. He was also FBI director at the time and traveled everywhere with an FBI detail.

The Vatican said in a statement that the bone fragments were discovered during restructuring work on an annex to the Holy See’s imposing embassy compound near Rome’s famous Villa Borghese museum.
It said chief prosecutor Giuseppe Pignatone was leading the investigation and had tasked forensic specialists with determining the “age, sex and date of death” of the body.
Orlandi’s fate is one of the biggest mysteries in modern Italian history.
Her disappearance was initially linked to a possible attempt by unknown persons to win freedom for Mehmet Ali Agca, the Turkish gunman who shot Pope John Paul II in 1981 and was then serving a life sentence in an Italian jail.
In 2005, an anonymous caller to a television talk show said the secret to her kidnap was buried along with Enrico “Renatino” De Pedis, a mobster who once led the feared Magliana gang which terrorized Rome in the 1980s.
Police eventually opened his tomb in a Rome basilica in 2012 looking for clues but came up empty handed.

An Iraqi refugee living in the US built two homemade bombs in a Las Vegas condominium which he planned to use in a deadly terror attack, DailyMail.com can reveal.
But Ahmad Suhad Ahmad was thwarted by the FBI because the bureau had set up the whole thing as an elaborate sting operation, according to bombshell court documents.
Ahmad is accused of showing undercover FBI agents how to connect the blasting caps and where to place the C-4 on the bombs – intended to hit a target in Mexico.
According to the paperwork filed at the US District Court in Tuscon, Arizona, Ahmad, is also accused of teaching ‘the making and use of an explosive, destructive device, or weapon of mass destruction’, to another person between March and April, 2017.

Alleged Pittsburgh synagogue shooter Robert Bowers was transferred Tuesday to a prison in Butler County, Pa., prompting anger from officials there who say they were not consulted about the move.
Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger, who’s also a member of the county prison board, didn’t hide his disappointment with how the situation was handled.
“I’m not happy about it. I don’t think that it’s our responsibility to be housing him. He’s allegedly committed a heinous act, and I don’t think we should be responsible for him while he’s awaiting his trial,” he told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
But the prison staff said the facility is capable of housing inmates such as Bowers, whose alleged deadly rampage on Saturday left 11 people dead and six others injured.
Warden Joe DeMore said his prison housed high-profile inmates in the past and has a contract with the U.S. Marshals Service.
He said the authorities didn’t say why they moved Bowers from an Allegheny County lockup to his prison, or for how long, according to the Post-Gazette.
Still, local officials were irked that they found out about the transfer after it happened.
“I'm angry that I found out about this after it occurred,” Commissioner Leslie Osche told the Butler Eagle. “[Bowers] was here before the warden or sheriff ever notified us.”
The county district attorney reportedly said that Bowers was in the jail’s infirmary. The suspected shooter used a wheelchair during his federal court appearance earlier this week after he was shot by police.

It isn't completely clear that he has hard technical expertise, though it could very well be so (all of his tech work could be achieved via functional knowledge (other than maybe some of the early patents - I could have written the later one related to call distribution without have any hard engineering skills). However, the fire dept. related work is interesting…..i'm sure that that experience translates somewhat. also if his entry into tech was via electrical engineering (which would be fairly common given his age - not so common any longer…) then he would certainly have the requisite skills.
My best guess, however, is that this guy is mainly a patent troll following in this guys footsteps (both in terms of the trolling as well as the method of attack and the technology sector).

Counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway has removed her White House title from her Twitter bio, leaving her profile blank.
It’s uncertain why the title was removed from Conway’s account, and the White House declined to comment on the record to the Washington Examiner. In a Fox News appearance later Tuesday evening, Conway was introduced by anchor Bret Baier as "counselor to the president," her usual job title.
Earlier this month, the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington filed a complaint with the Office of Special Counsel for potential violations of the Hatch Act, which prohibits federal employees from using their office to campaign for or against political candidates.
As a result, CREW requested the Office of Special Counsel investigate whether Conway violated the Hatch Act by using her official government Twitter account “to promote the Republican Party and to post an image of President Trump’s campaign slogan ‘Make America Great Again.’”
The group is also interested if comments made during a Fox News interview about how voters for “red-state Democrats” are not in favor of the “socialist way the Democratic party is going” violated the Hatch Act.
“By sharing these posts on a Twitter account that Ms. Conway uses for official government business and giving a television interview from the grounds of the White House that mixed official government business with political views about partisan candidates only weeks before their elections, she engaged in political activity prohibited by law,” the complaint reads.
Donald Sherman, deputy director for CREW, said he wasn't certain if there is a correlation between Conway removing her title and the complaint, but said the move was a small "positive step." He did acknowledge that omitting her title "doesn't solve the problem" though.
“But either way, I think it is a small step in the right direction," Sherman told the Washington Examiner. "Whether it’s been ethics violations of ethics rules or the Hatch Act, Ms. Conway in particular has stepped over the line and has not been held accountable for her actions.”

apologies for the reply to my own post, but the connection between the strategies of Katz and this Muir Cohen character doesn't sit completely well with me. Mainly because the all the large Telco development companies (Bell labs and related offspring as well as other european long term telco vendors) have known about this strategy since the late 90s at least (and in exactly the area Cohen is getting his patents). I can't believe that no one put in defensive patents for this stuff or has challenged them. A lot of corps just go ahead and pay the license fee which hardly makes sense.

i replied to my own post earlier with some further thoughts on the patent trolling point. both the patent and the property could indicate some form of money laundering. on the other hand maybe he took on liens and other problems with the property when he bought - some issue is usually what drive a "legal" $1 sale (though not a lawfag and there may be a lot of other innocent reasons for such a sale. it seems to be worth some investigation.

“The [outcome of the investigation] isn’t anything that will be known in a few days, it will take some time.”
Detectives will be looking in particular at whether they are a DNA match for Emanuela Orlandi or Mirella Gregori, both of whom were aged 15 when they went missing separately in Rome within the space of 40 days in 1983.
Orlandi was the daughter of a member of the Vatican’s police, and was last seen on 22 June 1983 when leaving a music class.
Theories have circulated that the then 15-year-old was kidnapped by an organised crime gang to put pressure on Vatican officials to recover a loan.
Another claim was that she was taken to force the release from prison of Mehmet Ali Agca, the Turk who attempted to assassinate Pope John Paul II in 1981.
Her brother Pietro has been leading a decades-long campaign to find out what happened to her and has accused the Vatican of silence and even complicity in the case.
The Vatican has said on several occasions that it has cooperated with Italian police over the case.
However, Pietro Orlandi organised a sit-in manifestation in June, accusing the Vatican of “raising the wall even higher”.
“A few days after Emanuela disappeared, Monsignor Giovanni Battista Morandini told my dad that the State was concerned about the incident. and that it was suggested to plug the leak before it was too late. I think the decision to drop the investigation was a consequence of those words,” he said at the time.
The family’s lawyer, Laura Sgrò, said on Wednesday: “We’re waiting to understand the details of the discovery, such as when the bones were found, who found them…gradually we should understand better what happened.
“The family’s hope is that [the remains belong to Emanuela], for so long we have fought a battle to bring her home.”
Gregori disappeared exactly 40 days before Orlandi. Her mother says Gregori answered the intercom at the family apartment before telling her parents it was a school friend and she was going out to speak to him. She never returned.
Investigators have not ruled out that the cases could be connected.

The short term predictions are what bring in NSF dollars, and since NSF's budget had been slashed throughout the Hussein admin, those dollars had been hard to come by (never mind the libshits blaming Trump for the woes Hussein inflicted upon them).
As such, most grants that didn't have anything to do with "muh climate change" got chucked. More often than not, all you have to do is mention "climate change" to land a grant, but now that everyone's picked up on the rules of the game, it becomes harder to play.
Right now, most geo departments are gunning for young paper mills to replace their retiring/dying old guard - the only folks who could still pull down gov't cash with their name alone - and continue to come up dry.
The point/hope? With enough papers, no matter how badly written or arcane the subject, that shitpile of writing can substitute for clout or meaningful work, like it did back in the old days.
Unfortunately for them, all the sharp students see the writing on the wall and dive into the O&G workforce ASAP to tackle their loans, leaving the faculty to gamble on 1.) the real brilliant folks who might actually make good professors, 2.) the next paper mill who will burn out after two years and happily lecture for the rest of his life or dive into the workforce with a Ph.D., or 3.) someone who never should have been in grad school in the first place.
With the advent of President Trump, that writing on the wall has never been clearer. Academia may not be a priority at the moment (economy and border security come first), but I would expect a major shake-up some time in the next two years. What that would look like, I don't know - give me a beer or two later and I can try to hash that out - but I would not be surprised if we see a return to stronger corporate-academic ties (think Cold War, when we needed the best minds to fight the commie bastards).
Sorry for the ramble. I don't have any outlets to really expound on this, and baking usually keeps me preoccupied anyway, but I'm pretending to take minutes and this is as good a way to spend time as any.

Anecdote time: my Ph.D. advisor had a really promising Chinese student come in for an MS - awesome student, decent guy, could very well have been a Chinese spy, who's to say. Shortly after that guy left, advisor got foisted an absolute brainlet who could barely operate an elevator, let alone the machinery needed for his own MS.
My advisor took on the best, they got what they needed from him, and he got the shit dumped on him afterwards.
