Drones Strike Russian Aviation Plant Servicing Tu-95 Bombers and Chemical Giant in Tolyatti

Drone attacks struck industrial and military facilities in the Russian cities of Taganrog and Tolyatti overnight on September 12, with fires reported near an aircraft complex that services A-50 surveillance planes and Tu-95 strategic bombers, as well as at one of Russia’s major chemical producers.

According to Exilenova+ on September 12, satellite fire-detection data and footage shared by local residents showed several fires in Taganrog, including near the Beriev Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex.

The facility specializes in maintenance and modernization of Russia’s A-50 airborne early warning and control aircraft, Be-series amphibious aircraft used by the Russian Navy, and Tu-95MS/MSM strategic bombers.

Russia uses Tu-95 bombers to launch Kh-101 air-launched cruise missiles against Ukraine.

NASA FIRMS satellite data showed fire hotspots in the area of the aviation enterprise. The nearby Taganrog-Yuzhny airfield serves as the Beriev complex’s main flight-testing base.

Separately, ASTRA reported that drones may also have targeted the Taganrog-Central military airfield, home to Russia’s 708th Military Transport Aviation Regiment. The 325th Aircraft Repair Plant, which repairs military transport aircraft, is located nearby.

Another fire was recorded near Taganrog’s automobile plant, according to satellite observations and reports from local residents.

In Tolyatti, Samara region, drones targeted the KuibyshevAzot chemical plant, according to monitoring group Exilenova+. A fire was reported on the plant’s premises following the attack.

KuibyshevAzot produces ammonia, ammonium nitrate, urea, ammonium sulfate, nitric acid, caprolactam, and polyamide products.

The company is among Russia’s major producers of nitrogen fertilizers and caprolactam, a chemical used in the production of polyamide plastics and synthetic fibers.

Earlier, on September 11, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the sanctioned Volgogradpromproekt enterprise in Volgograd with FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles, triggering a fire at the facility.

The company is involved in Russia’s military-industrial complex and produces ferrocene-based combustion catalysts and chemical production technologies.

Two weeks before 9/11, Bernard Kerik flew to Israel. Within months of the attacks, he had pocketed a quarter-million dollars from an Israeli billionaire and had his rent—$236,000 over two years—quietly paid by a developer in Donald Trump’s inner circle. He disclosed none of it.

That is not speculation. That is the documented record of the man who ran the NYPD on the day America was attacked—a record that includes a $250,000 “unconditional loan” from Eitan Wertheimer, a board member of the Jewish Agency, the organization that surfaced in FBI files as the employer of Paul Kurzberg, one of the “Dancing Israelis” arrested for celebrating the collapse of the Twin Towers.

The Israel Trip

In late August 2001, just two weeks before hijackers would commandeer four commercial airliners and bring down the Twin Towers, Bernard Kerik traveled to Israel. The trip was ostensibly a routine exchange with Israeli law enforcement officials. Kerik was still serving as Correction Commissioner at the time, though he was already in line to become Police Commissioner—a transition that would occur only days before September 11.

The timing of this trip has long been a footnote in the broader narrative of that summer. But for researchers who have combed through the 9/11 Commission files and subsequent investigations, the proximity of Kerik’s travel to the attacks—and the company he kept while there—has never been fully explained.

The Money He Didn’t Declare

Two financial arrangements from that period have since been confirmed through court documents and journalistic investigation, both of which Kerik failed to disclose on his official financial statements.

First: In 2001, Israeli billionaire Eitan Wertheimer extended Kerik a $250,000 “unconditional loan.” The funds were ostensibly for a business venture, but the terms were remarkably generous—no collateral, no repayment schedule, and no apparent expectation of return. Kerik later claimed the money was a loan, but failed to report it as income or as a gift, a violation of New York City’s financial disclosure rules.

Second: In October 2001—just one month after the attacks—Kerik began receiving $236,000 in rent payments for two years, paid by none other than Steve Witkoff. Witkoff, a real estate developer and close associate of Donald Trump, covered Kerik’s housing costs at a time when Kerik was a public servant. Like the Wertheimer loan, this arrangement went undeclared.

Who is Eitan Wertheimer? At the time, he was one of Israel’s wealthiest industrialists, heir to the Iscar metalworking fortune. He was also a member of the Board of Governors of the Jewish Agency, an organization with a long and complicated relationship with U.S. intelligence files.

The Jewish Agency Connection

The Jewish Agency for Israel is a century-old institution responsible for facilitating Jewish immigration to Israel. It is, on its face, a charitable and administrative body. But FBI files declassified over the years have placed at least one notable figure within its orbit: Paul Kurzberg.

Kurzberg was one of the so-called “Dancing Israelis”—five men arrested on September 11, 2001, after witnesses in New Jersey reported seeing them cheering and celebrating as the towers collapsed. The men were employees of Urban Moving Systems, a New Jersey-based moving company that the FBI later concluded was “at least in part” a cover for Israeli intelligence operations. Kurzberg’s name appeared in FBI files in connection with the Jewish Agency.

Iran, Oman deal sets path to reopen Hormuz, Iranian source tells Tasnim

An understanding between Iran and Oman does not provide for the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz but establishes the basis on which it could reopen, an Iranian source told the semi-official Tasnim news agency on Saturday.

Iranian workers are going on strike as inflation rises to 128% and the fuel crisis worsens living conditions across the country.

Iranian civilians are struggling to pay for fuel and other essentials as the Rial plunged to 2.3 million per one US dollar and the economic impact of war takes hold, according to a Thursday Wall Street Journal report.

The economic fallout from the war and the US's naval blockade on Iranian ports along the Strait of Hormuz is driving up the price of goods for Iranians, many of whom earn roughly $250 a month, according to a study by Euronews.

The regime is also attempting to repair damage sustained by its refineries during the war and faces difficulties importing fuel and other goods due to the US naval blockade.

Nigel Farage is today celebrating an astonishing £72million windfall after receiving two donations of £36million in the space of 24 hours.

Mr Farage's Reform UK announced on Friday evening that it had received the first £36million donation — the largest in British political history — from cryptocurrency billionaire Ben Delo.

Now the Mail can reveal that Mr Delo's donation has been matched by another billionaire Reform backer, Christopher Harborne.

It takes the total amount raised by Reform this year close to £90 million, compared with just over £10million for the Tories and £8million for Labour.

It is understood that the £72million will be spent trying to more closely replicate the office 'infrastructure' of the established parties, including appointing campaign managers in all target constituencies, competing for the best strategists and policy experts and setting up an 'attack unit' to target rivals.

Party sources said that the unprecedented injection of funds meant that Reform could 'stop worrying about fundraising and step up preparations for Government'.

It comes amid speculation that Prime Minister Andy Burnham is considering calling an early general election - something he might think twice about if Mr Farage is able quickly to ramp-up his political firepower.

Mr Harborne, a former Tory donor who has previously donated a total £15million to Reform, is at the centre of an investigation by the parliamentary commissioner for standards into whether Mr Farage should have declared a £5million personal gift from him.

Mr Harborne said: 'There will be a lot of media speculation regarding this donation. So what do I expect in return for my donations? Nothing. No peerage, no policy change, just a Party that is ready for government.

'I have already accumulated enough wealth for the rest of my life. I am committed to putting that to work for Britain and humanity as a whole.

'I want the same as everyone else in Britain: for my children and grandchildren to have the chance to live happy and productive lives here and be rewarded for their hard work.

'At the next General Election people will have to vote for the Party that they think will best get that done and I'm making a donation very clearly to the Party that I believe will do so.'

Mr Farage said he was 'honoured' and 'humbled' that Mr Delo and Mr Harborne have 'shown such confidence in Reform'.

He said: 'Both men know that we are the only party that can turn the country around and win the next General Election - thanks to their generosity, we are now able to fight that election on a level playing field.'

Mr Delo, the co-founder of BitMEX, a cryptocurrency trading platform, said that he had given the £36million - in addition to £4million donated earlier this year - because he wanted to ensure a 'fair fight' at the next election against the 'entrenched advantages' of Reform's opponents.

Mr Delo, 42, announced he was moving back to the UK this year after Labour announced plans to cap donations from British citizens living abroad.

Mr Delo said: 'Unlike the people who express mock concern for the health of 'our democracy' while doing everything they can to keep it as a cartel, I want a fair fight and a level playing field'.

Reform deputy leader Richard Tice said following Mr Delo's donation: 'Thank you Ben for helping us employ the best people.

'We will build the most professional campaign and policy platform. We must win to save Britain and make Britain amazing again.'

The Metropolitan Police announced last week that it was launching a criminal inquiry into claims that senior figures in the party breached legal donation rules, after a sting by undercover reporters was broadcast by Channel 4.

A Labour Party spokesman said: 'Reform UK can't buy their way out of questions about sleaze, criminal mates and dodgy finances.

'It's time Farage and Reform finally came clean with the public, co-operated fully with the police, and proved they're not just in it for themselves.'
