I've been an amateur astronomer for several decades and have always heard that the smallest object amateur class telescopes can see on the moon is about 1/2 mile in diameter so very unlikely this will be visible unless it produces a very bright flash but the absence of oxygen and likely, fuel on the rocket means this is a nothingburger.

Breaking up the middle a bit on different issues is a decent strategy. Plus, Trump can take it, even if it takes him down. He's a catalyst. His role is to usher in the future, not be the future.
