Influencer brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested by federal authorities Saturday in Miami, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

The charges against the pair were not immediately announced by U.S. authorities. Brady McCarron, a spokesperson for the Marshals Service, told The Associated Press that the warrant was sealed.

The Christian confesses because it is our way of making worldly and spiritual amends and to walking the path of truth. To be one in the light where if you got nothing to hide, if you've done no wrong, then, what do you think is going to happen to you? What judgment can be made against you without justifications that would find you guilty and castigate you? Staying clean, good, honorable, dependent, trustworthy, virtuous, righteous. Stay in the light. That's why we say we are sinners. Because we self-reflect and judge ourselves and by that measure, sensible people will treat others the way they'ed like to be treated and judge others proportionately. A people of order through laws that we believe in a kingdom of mind and spirit and that we cannot be free unless we obey the law.

Sacrifice. No good deed goes unpunished and whenever anyone does anything out of their own will to help others, you take the load, the burden, you pay the bill, you carry the weight of whatever challenge for others in need. By these measures we like to think we are making a better place around us but also that we may be making spiritual amends by actions that are good noble and sacrificial in practice.

And of course the greatest of all sacrifices that you would accept in the death of Jesus Christ being for your sins and by that savior of the world, then go and sin and sacrifice no more. And if you do, mercy. Confess and make amends.

Restrain, moderate your sinning with what is not natural. Wisdom. Wisdom comes from the knowledge you have like a library of memory. The more information the more the patterns of teachings emerge. Wisdom is in knowing what is real or not real, possible or not possible. It'll get you to be inquisitive and about knowing what is the truth and the lie. Investigative like a dog sniffing out the clues. The eyes are like lamps to the body and what you put in it determines what kind of choices you will be making.

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested in Miami today on a combined 59 new charges, including child and extreme pornography and rape.

The Tates were taken into custody by US Marshals outside of the James L Knight Center on Saturday afternoon, just moments before Andrew was due to host a bareknuckle boxing event.

The pending charges in the UK accuse Andrew, 39, and Tristan, 37, of abusing women between July 2010 and August 2017, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said.

Andrew faces seven further counts of rape, three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and 19 additional charges for offences relating to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography.

Tristan is being charged with one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation.

The brothers have strongly denied any wrongdoing. Their lawyer Joseph McBride said in a statement to the Daily Mail: 'The world knows Andrew and Tristan Tate are innocent. Their enemies know it best of all. That is exactly why they have been attacked.'

Andrew and Tristan's arrest comes just days after the Daily Mail revealed that the brothers met with US Republican Rep Wesley Hunt in DC and attended a party hosted by President Donald Trump's special envoy Paolo Zampolli.

Body found at Boston home owned by husband of Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley

Boston police are investigating thediscovery Saturday of a dead body that was found at a property that is owned by the husband of Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts.

Police spokesperson James Moccia told CBS News Boston officers were called to a house on Malta Street in Boston's Mattapan neighborhood at 1:52 p.m. "for a report to investigate a person."

When they arrived, they found the person deceased, Moccia said.

Moccia did not have any further details and said the homicide unit is handling the investigation. A Boston police cruiser was seen outside the home Saturday evening and it was sealed off with red crime scene tape.

According to property records from the city of Boston, Pressley's husband, Conan Harris, is listed as the owner of the Malta Street home. The property has an assessed value of $919,000.

The two-story, seven bedroom house was built in 1910. Pressley and Harris do not live at the home. It's a rental property that's currently for sale. The asking price is $1.15 million.

"The Congresswoman extends her deepest condolences to the impacted family," a spokesperson for Pressley said in a statement Saturday night.

Pressley, a Democrat, was first elected to Congress in 2018, when she defeated longtime former Rep. Michael Capuano in a primary.

During the 12-day war in June 2025, Iranian missiles and drones struggled against sophisticated Israeli and American electronic warfare. GPS jamming and spoofing repeatedly disrupted their guidance systems, limiting their effectiveness during the intense 12-day conflict. Fast-forward to early 2026, and the battlefield dynamics had shifted dramatically. Iran’s precision strikes began threading through advanced air defenses, hitting high-value targets across the Gulf with surprising accuracy.

Intelligence analysts pointed to one key factor: Iran had ditched GPS for China’s Beidou satellite navigation system.

The US unwittingly provided the spark that ignited China’s quest for the Beidou. The story begins in 1993 when a single Chinese container ship, the Yinhe, sailing to Iran, the vessel was accused by the CIA of carrying chemicals for weapons production.

Middle Eastern ports, under pressure from the US, refused entry and the ship was stranded in the Indian Ocean. The US not only pressured allies but reportedly disabled the ship's GPS access, forcing it to drop anchor for weeks. Inspections in Saudi Arabia eventually cleared the vessel, but China received no apology or compensation.

This humiliation—losing navigation mid-ocean due to reliance on a foreign-controlled system—became a pivotal lesson for Beijing. It accelerated development of an independent satellite navigation network: Beidou (BDS).

BDS-1 (2000s) provided initial regional coverage.

BDS-2 expanded capabilities.

BDS-3 (completed around 2020) transformed it into a global powerhouse with dozens of satellites, far more ground stations (especially in the Global South), and superior accuracy in many regions compared to GPS.

Today, Beidou outperforms GPS in coverage and precision across roughly 165 countries, offering a resilient alternative that cannot be unilaterally jammed or spoofed by Western powers.

After the 2025 conflict exposed vulnerabilities in GPS-dependent systems, Iran moved decisively. By late 2025 or early 2026, it integrated Beidou into its missile and drone arsenals. Reports from March 2026 already highlighted dramatic improvements: Iranian munitions evaded electronic countermeasures that had worked months earlier.

Key advantages of Beidou for Iran include:

Resistance to jamming/spoofing — Advanced frequency-hopping and anti-interference tech.

Higher accuracy — Circular error probable under 5 meters in key regions, enabling precise strikes with fewer munitions.

Real-time command — Secure messaging allows mid-flight adjustments over long distances.

Republicans have cut into the lead Democrats have heading into the 2026 midterms, according to the latest Washington Post-Ipsos poll.

The new poll showed Democrats have a 48% to 45% edge on Republicans among registered voters — which means the GOP has sliced into the five point edgeDems had the last time the poll was released in May.

Dems have a bigger lead among voters “absolutely certain to vote,” with a 53% to 45% cushion. But the Republicans have made up a little bit of ground there as well, after the Democrats had a nine point edge two months ago.

One issue for Republicans, though:their voters aren’t as excited to get to the ballot box in November.

Reporters Scott Clement and Gregory S. Schneider wrote, “Republican supporters just aren’t as energized to turn up at the polls, the Post-Ipsos poll suggests.If Trump is able to mitigate some top concerns by Election Day — for example, by bringing down the price of gasoline or ending the war with Iran— then his push to draw new congressional districts in red states could be enough to retain the GOP majority in the House.”

They added:

Democrats’ hopes of flipping the House hinge on a more enthusiastic base, which is evident in the poll and in the party’s strong turnout in recent primaries and special elections.

The Post-Ipsos survey offers mixed signs for Democrats compared with the polling ahead of the 2018 midterm in Trump’s first term, when Democrats gained 40 House seats in a blue wave.

That year, Democrats had a 10-point lead in support for Congress in Post-ABC polls of registered voters,compared with Democrats’ three-point edge this month. But the enthusiasm gap is greater now.

Saturday’s poll also showed most Americans are not thrilled with President Donald Trump’sleadership on the Iran war, with 29% approving of “the situation with Iran” and 69% disapproving.

The poll’s release coincided with the news two U.S. soldiers died in an Iranian strike on a military base in Jordan.Respondents said the most important issue to them was the economy — with 54% of respondents listing it as their first or second-biggest concern; immigration was second, with 28%, and the Iran war was third with 20%.

As for the Dems, victories by several democratic socialist candidates in recent primaries had some liberals worried. Bill Maher vented that the Democrats would “blow” the midterms if they embrace the “crazy” socialists, and James Carville urged congressional Democrats to shun any socialists who enter Congress.

The WaPo-Ipsos poll was conducted between July 8-13 and had 2,648 respondents.
