Iran's Araghchi, US envoys head to Pakistan; Tehran says no talks on agenda

• Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Islamabad on Friday, according to Pakistani media. Iranian state media say no US talks are on his agenda, but CNN reports that US negotiators are heading to Islamabad for talks with him.
• Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stepped down as head of Iran’s negotiating team amid internal disputes, with Saeed Jalili seen as a possible replacement and Araghchi seeking control of the talks, informed sources told Iran International.
• Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will begin a regional tour on Friday, visiting Islamabad, Muscat and Moscow, state media reported.
•US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said at a Pentagon briefing that Iran has “an important choice” to make a “good deal” if it abandons its nuclear programme in verifiable ways.

US lawmaker urges continued pressure on Tehran
Republican Representative Wesley Hunt said on Friday Iran is currently weakened and should be met with sustained US pressure, arguing that recent developments show the country is acting out of desperation.

US-China panel praises Treasury move targeting Iranian oil purchases
The House Select Committee on China said it “applauds” the US Treasury Department for what it described as action aimed at preventing China from purchasing Iranian oil.
"As a recent investigation detailed, China is acquiring oil from Iran using its shadow fleet of thousands of foreign-flagged tankers. This report’s policy recommendations called for Treasury to sanction ports and terminal operators receiving shadow fleet cargo, such as illegal crude," Committee posted on X on Friday.

US senator urges end to Iran talks, calls for military action
Republican Senator Roger Wicker said on Friday negotiations with Iran should be halted, urging instead military action to dismantle Tehran’s nuclear program and degrade its conventional forces.
"The time is over for negotiations with Iran's regime. The radical successors of Khamenei can never be trusted to keep any promise or agreement," chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee posted on X.
"Our Commander-in-Chief should direct his skilled military leaders to finish destroying Iran’s conventional military capabilities and eliminating any last remnants of their nuclear program. This is the only way to ensure lasting stability in the region," Wicker added.

I posted this yesterday for the 100th time, someone has to tell Jim to reboot the image and web servers, from there anon keep bread counts below 500 to help alleviate the problem:
Here is the problem with this site and you can test it out for yourself. I explained this about dozens of times now for the last few years. It is about bad image urls. How to test. Load a page by the browser refresh button and take note of how many posts there are at the bottom of the page. Let's say there are 500. Those 500 posts, you will be able to expand and enlarge the images on the first 500 posts. But if another anon posts say 501 and above, those posts you cannot enlarge the image because they have a bad image url. If you open that image in a new tab, you will get a not found, because it the image it looks for is of this signature https://8kun.top/… If you add .nerv like this https://nerv.8kun.top/… the image will be found, and you can expand it. Now why is that important? Because the bottom ad server is also using at times bad urls automatically. Ping ponging between A, B, A, B, A… of bad image urls which not both eats the web server's and image server resource, which eventually the proxy server sees, and then starts shutting down all requests. This is why posts take long, and images do not showed for a long time due to limited system resources. So the code for the reply button and whatever is generating ads, has to add the 5 characters of .nerv in the urls. Why is this important? Because all it takes is one anon to walk away from a web page that has a fail ad server image that puts the web server in an endless search loop, and it will eventually take down not only 8kun but 8ch too, because they both rely on the same image server. Hope that makes sense. 5 character fix in one or two places, that is it.

A judge on Friday overturned the firearms prohibition on James O’Keefe after West Palm Beach Police confiscated his guns
Last month James was served with a restraining order while he was livestreaming at his West Palm Beach, Florida, headquarters on Tuesday.
The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Deputy served James with a domestic violence restraining order.
The domestic violence restraining order was from Matthew Tyrmand, a former Project Veritas board member.
“Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department just served me with a domestic violence restraining order from Matthew Tyrmand. The former board member from Project Veritas who said he wants to murder me,” James O’Keefe said.
“Despite admitting multiple times on hidden camera wanting me dead, Matthew Tyrmand filed a restraining order against ME in Miami Dade County,” O’Keefe said.
“Saying such things as: “I would kill him [O’Keefe]. Because he is one of the most evil people I’ve ever known.,”” he said.
“He even shot up my book with rifle bullets through my heart on the cover. The audacity of evil has no bounds,” O’Keefe said.
James O’Keefe previously honey-trapped Matthew Tyrmand at a restaurant.
During the encounter in Miami Beach that was recorded by camera, Tyrmand ‘admitted’ to being an FBI-Southern District of New York (SDNY) informant.
So Tyrmand responded by slapping James with a restraining order.
James O’Keefe appeared before a judge in a Miami court earlier this month.
The judge extended the restraining order and ordered James to surrender his firearms.
On Thursday evening, West Palm Beach Police arrived to OMG’s headquarters in Florida and confiscated O’Keefe’s firearms.

DOJ Reinstates Firing Squad as Official Federal Execution Method, Moves to ‘Restore Solemn Duty’ and Deliver Justice for Victims of the Most Barbaric Crimes

The move is part of several broader reforms aimed at “restoring the Department’s solemn duty to seek, obtain, and implement lawful capital sentences,” whichincludes readopting the lethal injection protocolused during President Donald Trump’s first term,expanding available execution methods to include the firing squad and other constitutional alternatives, and streamlining internal processes to expedite death penalty cases.
The department also released a report titled “Restoring and Strengthening the Federal Death Penalty.”
“The prior administration failed in its duty to protect the American people by refusing to pursue and carry out the ultimate punishment against the most dangerous criminals, including terrorists, child murderers, and cop killers,” Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said in a press release.
Blanche continued, “Under President Trump’s leadership, the Department of Justice is once again enforcing the law and standing with victims.”
The department criticized the Biden administration for imposing a moratorium on federal executions, directing prosecutors not to seek the death penalty in appropriate cases, dismantling key capital punishment infrastructure, and recommending the commutation of 37 lawful death sentences without fully consulting victims’ families or prosecutors.
“Under the leadership of President Trump and Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, the Justice Department is committed to correcting these failures and restoring the lawful administration of the death penalty,” the department said in the announcement.
“The Department has rescinded the Biden-Garland moratorium on federal executions and has authorized seeking death sentences against 44 defendants. Acting Attorney General Blanche has already authorized seeking death sentences against nine of these defendants, including three MS-13 members, two of whom are illegal aliens, accused of murdering a federal witness.”
The DOJ cited serious supply and legal challenges with lethal injection drugs as a major reason for expanding options.
Some states have already reinstated firing squads due to these issues.
