I have instructed the relevant authorities that Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch, be granted full and immediate access to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
Over the past several days, Iran has repeatedly targeted the holy sites of all three monotheistic religions in Jerusalem with ballistic missiles. In one strike, missile fragments crashed meters from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
To protect worshippers, Israel asked members of all faiths to temporarily abstain from worshipping at the Christian, Muslim and Jewish holy sites in Jerusalem’s Old City.
Today, out of special concern for his safety, Cardinal Pizzaballa was asked to refrain from holding mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
Even though I understand this concern, as soon as I learned about the incident with Cardinal Pizzaballa, I instructed the authorities to enable the Patriarch to hold services as he wishes.

FRANKFURT, March 30 (Reuters) - The German government is cutting the amount of silver in two of its limited edition euro collector coins as prices of the precious metal gyrate and it seeks to cut down on speculation, the country's finance ministry said on Monday.
Silver prices, while off their highs, have surged over the past year as investors feared missing out on a rally sparked by geopolitical risks and trade tensions. The metal saw several waves of active retail demand for silver bars and coins.
The move in Germany will affect 35- and 50-euro coins, with a reduction in the amount of silver and an increase in the amount of copper. Both coins will weigh slightly less as a result.
The finance ministry said in a statement posted to social media that it was making the adjustment due to sharp fluctuations in silver prices.
"It is intended to prevent the coins from becoming the subject of speculation regarding precious metal price trends or from their issuance becoming impermissible for budgetary reasons," the ministry said.
The coins celebrate special occasions and are not for everyday use. Next year's 35-euro coin will honour the 150th birthday of German author Hermann Hesse.

A Ukrainian drone that crashed in Finland on Sunday contained an unexploded warhead, according to Finnish police.
Ukraine has apologized for the incident, stating that the drone, part of its conflict with Russia, strayed off course likely due to electronic interference from Russia.
There were no injuries or damage reported from the crash, marking the first instance of the Russia-Ukraine war affecting Finnish territory.
The drone, identified as a Ukrainian AN-196 with a 6.7 meters (22 feet) wingspan, was destroyed in a controlled detonation.
A second drone, also believed to be Ukrainian, was found in Luumäki, and police are investigating whether it detonated upon crashing.

“Restaurants and catering businesses shall serve water only upon request,” the mandatory irrigation restrictions read.
The rules were issued in the Mile High City after the commissioners declared a Stage 1 Drought and made plans to seek a 20 percent reduction in water use. City officials expect drought conditions to last until April 30, 2027.
The update will affect many businesses, including the hospitality industry.
“Lodging establishments shall not change sheets more often than every four days for guests staying more than one night, except for health or safety reasons or upon express request of guests,” the Denver Board of Water Commissioners stated.
Drivers who attempt to wash their car are told to use a bucket or a hand-held hose equipped with an automatic shut-off nozzle if they don’t use a commercial car wash.
Residents can water their grass only two days per week, according to the schedule provided by city officials, but it is prohibited between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., when the sun is up.
“Current conditions indicate that this is going to be an exceptionally challenging year for our water supply,” Nathan Elder, manager of water supply for Denver, said at a Denver Board of Water Commissioners meeting.

Iran blows hole in US aluminium supply chain with smelter strikes
With attacks on the two biggest aluminium smelters in the Middle East over the weekend, Iran struck at major suppliers to the United States of a strategic metal the world's biggest economy does not produce nearly enough of domestically, analysts said.
Before the weekend, disruption from the Iran war centred around the difficulty of shipping aluminium and raw materials through the Strait of Hormuz, which has been effectively closed by Tehran.
But on Saturday, Emirates Global Aluminium said its roughly 1.5 million metric ton per year Al Taweelah site in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates, had sustained significant damage from Iranian attacks.
Aluminium Bahrain said its 1.6 million ton per year plant was targeted on the same day.
Neither company has since provided an update on operations. But the attacks have abruptly shifted concerns from temporary shipping snarls to a potentially more serious threat to production in the region.
"That changes the nature of the risk," Paul Adkins, head of aluminium consultancy AZ Global, wrote on LinkedIn.

Two projectiles splash near vessel near Saudi Arabia, UKMTO says
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said on Monday it had received a report of an incident 22 nautical miles northeast of Saudi Arabia's Ras Tanura.
A company security officer (CSO) of a container vessel reported two unknown projectiles had splashed in proximity of the vessel, each occurring within one hour of each other, UKMTO said, adding all crew members were reported as safe.

NATO air defenses shot down a fourth ballistic missile launched from Iran toward Turkey, after it had entered the country's airspace, Turkey's Defense Ministry said in a Monday post to X/Twitter.

Chinese container ships pass through Strait of Hormuz at second attempt, data shows
Two Chinese container ships sailed through the Strait of Hormuz on Monday at the second attempt after turning back into the Gulf on Friday, ship-tracking data showed.
The vessels were sailing in close formation out of the strait and into open waters, according to data on the MarineTraffic platform.
Officials from COSCO, the shipping group that operates the two vessels, could not be reached for immediate comment.
The critical waterway has effectively been shut since the US-Israeli war on Iran began on February 28.

"If for any reason a deal is not shortly reached, which it probably will be, and if the Hormuz Strait is not immediately 'Open for Business,' we will conclude our lovely 'stay' in Iran by blowing up and completely obliterating all of their Electric Generating Plants, Oil Wells and Kharg Island (and possibly all desalinization plants!), which we have purposefully not yet 'touched,'" the president declared.
Trump said that these actions would be "in retribution" for US soldiers "and others" killed by the "old" regime.

The IDF announced on Monday that it had struck several pieces of IRGC infrastructure located within Imam Hossein University, a primary military institution for the regime.
According to the IDF, the university had been used as civilian cover for a variety of military goals, including the development and research of advanced weaponry.
Among the targets struck during the attack on the university were wind tunnels used for the testing of ballistic missiles, the university's chemical center used for the development of chemical weapons, and the technology and engineering center of the mechanics and development group.
The IDF also stated that several countries had already sanctioned the university and its senior officials due to its affiliation with the IRGC.
The university is led by Mohammad Reza Hassani Shahnegari, a senior IRGC officer.

Denver Imposes Water Restrictions, Orders Restaurants To Serve Only On Request
Restaurants in Colorado’s capital are only allowed to serve water to guests if they ask, according to new restrictions by the Denver Board of Water Commissioners.
“Restaurants and catering businesses shall serve water only upon request,” the mandatory irrigation restrictions read.
The rules were issued in the Mile High City after the commissioners declared a Stage 1 Drought and made plans to seek a 20 percent reduction in water use. City officials expect drought conditions to last until April 30, 2027.
The update will affect many businesses, including the hospitality industry.
“Lodging establishments shall not change sheets more often than every four days for guests staying more than one night, except for health or safety reasons or upon express request of guests,” the Denver Board of Water Commissioners stated.
Drivers who attempt to wash their car are told to use a bucket or a hand-held hose equipped with an automatic shut-off nozzle if they don’t use a commercial car wash.
Residents can water their grass only two days per week, according to the schedule provided by city officials, but it is prohibited between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., when the sun is up.
“Current conditions indicate that this is going to be an exceptionally challenging year for our water supply,” Nathan Elder, manager of water supply for Denver, said at a Denver Board of Water Commissioners meeting.
“Snow pack levels are at historic lows and are melting earlier and more rapidly than normal.”

Dutch Treasury Banking Portal Goes Dark For 1,600 Public Institutions After Cyberattack
The Dutch Finance Ministry informed members of Parliament in a letter on Monday about "unauthorized access" to several of its banking systems, including the digital portal for treasury banking.
"Because of the ongoing forensic investigation and for security reasons, several systems have been temporarily taken offline, including the digital portal for treasury banking," Finance Minister Eelco Heinen wrote in the letter.
Heinen warned that the cyberattack has resulted in "around 1,600 public institutions that hold their funds with the Ministry of Finance" being "currently unable to view the balance of their treasury accounts digitally."
He continued, "Participants in treasury banking include, among others, ministries, agencies, legal entities with a statutory task, educational institutions, social funds, and decentralized governments."
"It is also temporarily not possible for participants to apply for loans, deposits, or credit facilities through the portal, change the intraday limit, or generate reports," Heinen warned.
Heinen admitted, "At this time, it is not yet known how long this situation will last."

UAE Will Be Pounded If US Invades, Iranian Officials Warn
Tehran believes the United Arab Emirates is playing an active role in the US-Israeli war on Iran and any ground invasion could lead to widespread attacks on Emirati state assets, two senior Iranian sources told Middle East Eye. A month into the conflict, which has battered global markets, Donald Trump is weighing whether to use ground troops to seize strategic islands in the Strait of Hormuz in an attempt to stop Iran from disrupting energy supplies.
Attention has particularly focused on Kharg Island, the hub through which roughly 90 percent of Iran’s oil exports flow, and Qashm Island which overlooks the strait. Such an operation would probably be launched from US bases in Gulf Arab states, which have come under Iranian attack in retaliation for US-Israeli strikes on Iran, which have killed at least 1,900 people so far.
Anti-Iranian sentiment has grown in Arab Gulf states, where retaliatory strikes have hit various targets, including key energy infrastructure. Combative rhetoric has particularly come from the close Israeli ally the UAE, whose ambassador to the US wrote a column in the Wall Street Journal this week saying a ceasefire would not be “enough” and the belligerents should push for a “conclusive outcome” that “addresses Iran’s full range of threats”.
The WSJ even reported that some Gulf Arab states were considering joining the US-Israeli attacks on Iran. However, according to a senior Iranian security official, leaders in Tehran now believe the UAE has played an active role in the war from the very beginning.
According to the official, the Iranian leadership has “decided to end a weeks-long period of tolerance towards Abu Dhabi, after concluding that the Emirati role went beyond simply hosting US military facilities already hit in Iranian retaliatory attacks”.
The official said: “Iranian intelligence believes the UAE also made some of its own air facilities available for operations against Iran.”
Abu Dhabi has served as an advanced platform for Israeli interests in the region, the official said. He suggested this included “deception operations” - false-flag Israeli attacks on Oman and at least one other country intended to look like Iranian ones.

Talks with Iran are continuing and progressing well, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters on Monday.
"Despite all of the public posturing you hear from the regime and false reporting, talks are continuing and going well. What is said publicly is, of course, much different than what's being communicated to us privately," she said.
She said the movement of oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, including 10 previously announced vessels and a further 20 expected in the coming days, was the result of direct and indirect talks between the United States and Iran.

UN experts say efforts to end Iran war must address Iranians’ rights
United Nations experts said on Monday that any effort to end the war between the United States, Israel and Iran must prioritize the human rights of people in Iran, warning that recent strikes have worsened an already severe situation.
“The people of Iran are under attack from outside and from within,” the experts said.
They said military strikes by the United States and Israel had increased civilian casualties, displacement and pressure on infrastructure, while longstanding human rights concerns persisted.
“The US-Israeli military strikes not only violate the UN Charter but have dramatically worsened these conditions and intensified internal repression,” they said.
The experts also pointed to executions, restrictions on civil liberties and limited access to information, including a prolonged internet shutdown.
“An end to the war is urgent and necessary but it will not on its own resolve Iran’s human rights crisis,” they said.
They called for any diplomatic process to include the release of detainees, restoration of internet access, accountability for violations and broader protections for civilians.

A 15-year-old boy has died after shooting a teacher at his Texas high school, police said.
The teen opened fire on a female teacher at Hill Country College Preparatory High School in Bulverde on Monday morning, the Comal County Sheriff's Office said.
The teacher was taken to a hospital in San Antonio. Her current condition is unknown.
The gunman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not yet disclosed how he died or who shot him.
The high school was placed under lockdown and students were transported to nearby Bulverde Middle School, where they were reunited with their parents.
The FBI has personnel on the scene and is assisting state and local police, a spokesperson from the agency's San Antonio field office said.
Although police say there is no ongoing threat to the community, law enforcement investigators are still working the scene.
Hill Country College Preparatory will remain on lockdown as they continue their investigation.

Syrian Army repels ‘large-scale’ drone attack on military bases near Iraq border

The Syrian Army said Monday it repelled a “large-scale” drone attack targeting several military bases near the Iraqi border, the SANA news agency reported.
The Syrian Army’s Operations Command told SANA that a large-scale attack involving multiple drones targeted positions near the border with Iraq at dawn.
It said Syrian units were able to confront and shoot down most of the incoming drones.
The military said it will carry out an “appropriate response” to neutralize any threat and prevent further attacks on Syrian territory.
No immediate information was provided on casualties or damage.
The army did not specify the launch site of the drones. Its bases have previously been targeted by similar attacks from within Iraqi territory, the most recent being on Saturday, though no group has claimed responsibility.
An Iraqi group loyal to Iran, calling itself Saraya Awliya al-Dam (Brigades of the Guardians of Blood), claimed responsibility for a previous attack a week earlier that targeted a Syrian army base in the northeastern province of Hasakah.
Regional escalations have continued to rage since Israel and the US launched an offensive against Iran on Feb. 28, killing more than 1,340 people to date, including then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Iran Alleges Series Of 'False Flags' - Including On Kuwait Water Plant - Designed To Perpetuate War
The Iranian military denied on Monday being behind the recent attack which hit a desalination plant in Kuwait, labeling the strike a US-Israeli false-flag operation aimed at "destabilizing and destroying the region."
"The brutal aggression by the Zionist regime against the desalination facility in Kuwait, carried out in recent hours under the pretext of accusing the Islamic Republic of Iran, is a sign of the vileness and depravity of the Zionist occupiers," the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Iranian army said in a statement.
"We declare that US bases, personnel, and their interests in the region, as well as the military, security, and economic infrastructure of the Zionist regime in the occupied Palestinian territories, remain powerful targets for us," it added.
The Iranian military went on to urge "countries of West Asia must remain vigilant against the sedition of the US–Zionist axis aimed at destabilizing and destroying the region."
Regional states "must put an end to the presence of the criminal US army and occupying Zionists in the region," it stressed. The attack on the desalination plant took place on Sunday.
"A service building at a power and water desalination plant was attacked as part of the Iranian aggression against the State of Kuwait, resulting in the death of an Indian worker and significant material damage to the building," said a spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Electricity Ministry.
This is not the first attack Tehran has labeled a false flag. Iran has also denied recent strikes on fuel tankers in Oman and a refinery in Iraq's Erbil, as well as one that targeted an Aramco facility in Saudi Arabia at the start of the month.
US journalist Tucker Carlson reported earlier in March that Mossad agents were detained in Gulf states for planning bombings.
Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on March 15 that the US has been using its new Lucas drone – modeled after the Iranian Shahed – to carry out false-flag attacks in the region and attribute them to the Islamic Republic.

Large Michigan Solar Projects Can Now Bypass Township Permit Denials. 122 of 148 Lawmakers Took Utility Money
One of Michigan’s electric utilities, Consumers Energy, announced plans to build up to 9,000 megawatts of solar power on 209,000 acres of farmland. The total size of these solar projects is about 326 square miles. That’s about 2.5 times the size of Detroit itself.
Nearly all these costs get added to citizens’ electric bills. Recognizing this would likely create opposition within townships, Democrat politicians in Michigan passed Public Act 233. It overrides a township if they deny a solar or wind farm permit.
For decades, Michigan’s 1,773 local township governments had the authority to decide whether a large solar farm could be built in their communities. In late November of 2023, Public Act 233 was signed into law. Larger solar (>50MW) and wind (>100MW) projects can now skip the voices of local residents. They now have almost no say in some of Michigan’s biggest industrial projects.
If the local jurisdiction denies the solar application, takes too long, or imposes excessive rules, the developer can bypass the township entirely. They can apply directly to the 3 person Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) for approval. All 3 commissioners are appointed by Democrat governor Gretchen Whitmer. In some cases, these developers can bypass townships from the onset.
PA 233 was introduced by MI House of Representatives Abraham Aiyash (D), a top Muslim lawmaker from the Detroit area. Every Democrat voted in favor of the bill, every Republican against (20-18). Like fascists, the MI Democrats took oversight from these small townships and gave it to MPSC. Democrats also control MPSC, which determines how much the two utility companies can charge their MI customers (Consumers Energy, DTE Energy).

Three men charged as drones, drugs seized in Dublin

Gardaí have seized two drones and drugs worth €7,000 in an operation to prevent the supply of drugs into prisons in west Dublin.
Three men were arrested by Ronanstown gardaí on Friday and Saturday and have been charged.
On Friday a man in his 20s was arrested and a drone worth €2,500 was seized along with a mobile device.
Controlled drugs valued at €7,000 were seized on Saturday, together with a drone worth €3,000. Two men aged in their 20s and 30s were arrested.
Gardaí said the drugs will be forwarded to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis and the drones will be subject to further technical examination.
The three men arrested in connection with this investigation have since been charged.
They are scheduled to appear before the courts today.
The arrests and seizures are part of Operation Throwover where the gardaí are supporting the Irish Prison Service to prevent illegal drugs and other contraband getting into prisons.

Migrant Households Are Claiming £1 Billion a MONTH in UK Welfare Benefits.
Foreign nationals are claiming close to £1 billion (~$1.3 billion) in welfare payments from the British government each month, according to the latest Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) figures. Promising his government wouldn’t engage in the joint American-Israeli attempt to reduce Iran’s capacity to hold the global economy to ransom, Sir Keir said in Wolverhampton on Monday that he wouldn’t change his mind “whatever the pressure and whoever it’s coming from”. He said:
We’re facing on a war on two fronts: the Ukraine war, now four-and-a-bit years in, and let’s salute the bravery of Ukrainians over so many years both on the frontline and the civilians as they fight for the values that matter to us.
And the other war … the Iran war, which I know is causing huge concern. People look at their screens and they’re worried when they see explosions, infrastructure blown up, the rhetoric that goes with it, worried about whether this is going to escalate even further.

United Nations experts said on Monday that any effort to end the war between the United States, Israel and Iranmust prioritize the human rights of people in Iran, warning that recent strikes have worsened an already severe situation.

They said military strikes by the United States and Israel had increased civilian casualties,displacement and pressure on infrastructure, while longstanding human rights concerns persisted.

The White House confirms that it reached out to Israel to express its concern over the Israel Police’s decision to block two top Catholic officials from praying at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre on Palm Sunday yesterday.

Hours earlier, Catholic officials in Jerusalem announced that prayer arrangements for Holy Week, which culminates with Easter on Sunday, April 5, had been resolved with Israeli authorities, ending a diplomatic spat over the issue.
“We want worshipers to be able to access these holy sites. Of course, safety is a top priority, but we understand Israel is working on the security measures to reopen the sites throughout Holy Week, and that’s something that we’re appreciative of,” she adds.

Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations said Tehran, in separate letters to the UN secretary-general and the Security Council, urged the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait to prevent the use of their territories for attacks against the country.

Hezbollah Destroy More Tanks And Israeli Army Acknowledges More Casualties
Hezbollah on March 30 shared footage showing its fighters targeting more main battle tanks in southern Lebanon, as the advance of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) slowed down.
A total of three Merkava tanks can be seen getting hit with anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM) in the footage, taken in the area of Khalat Imai near the town of Debl in the central sector of southern Lebanon four days earlier. Hezbollah fighters apparently used thermal imagers to detect the tanks, then engaged them using Russian-made Kornet missiles, or the Iranian copy of the system known as Dehlavieh.
Syria’s military said on March 30 that a large-scale drone attack targeted its bases near the border with Iraq, vowing to respond.
In a statement, the military reported “a large-scale attack by a number of drones targeting several army bases near the Iraqi border at dawn today,” saying that most of the drones were intercepted.
“We are studying our options and will respond appropriately to neutralize any threat and prevent any aggression against Syrian territory,” it added in a statement carried by the state-run SANA news agency.
Following the attack, the military deployed large reinforcements, including rocket launchers and drone units, along the border with Iraq, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The London-based monitoring group noted that many of the troops sent there are foreign jihadists, and said that a Tribal mobilization was ongoing.
Assistant defense minister for eastern Syria, Sipan Hamo, said a day earlier that four drones from Iraq attacked a United States base near the town of Qasrak in the governorate of al-Hasakah, but were intercepted.
“We hold Iraq responsible and call upon it to prevent the recurrence of attacks that threaten our stability,” Hamo said in a post to X.
The day before, Syria’s army said it repelled another drone attack from Iraq targeting al-Tanf in the governorate of Rif Dimashq, a base which used to house U.S. forces.
Another base in eastern Syria was targeted with rockets last week. An Iraqi official said an Iraqi faction was behind the attack, and four people were arrested in connection with it.

Missouri Veteran Reports Shape-Shifting UFO Over Table Rock Lake

If you're like me, you often roll your eyes when someone tells you they saw a UFO.
It's a completely different story for me, though, when that story comes from a Missouri veteran.
This new account details a shape-shifting object that he spotted over Table Rock Lake.
This new UFO account in Missouri was just shared by YouTube channel Sasquatch Theory
They say that Dan from southern Missouri has had many accounts with strange happenings including a bizarre encounter that happened after his service in the military where he had aviation experience.
He says that he saw a craft that appeared to change shape from a boomerang to a cube in the Table Rock Lake area of Missouri.
There's even video of one of the strange sights that were witness included in the video above. Here's a snapshot.
Dan - "definitely was more of a boomerang shape…And I could almost see multiple lights within within that shape.
But then when it when it went back up in the air, it fragmented or separated…and then it resembled more of what I would consider a cube-type configuration…can't explain it".
He went on to elaborate on how the objects he saw were either doing surveillance on him or maybe even trying to communicate in some way.
It's easy to dismiss stories like this as imaginations gone wild, but I think Dan's aviation background in the military makes his story much more compelling considering he is very familiar with what conventional craft and objects can and cannot do.

SPALLETTA surrendered today and will be presented this afternoon before U.S. Magistrate Judge Ona T. Wang. The case is assigned to U.S. District Judge Jed S. Rakoff.
“As alleged, Jonathan Spalletta repeatedly hacked smart contracts to steal millions of dollars’ worth of other people’s money for himself, and destroyed a cryptocurrency exchange in the process,” said U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton. “In describing his alleged ‘heist,’ Spalletta told another individual ‘Crypto is just fake internet money anyway.’ Stealing from a crypto exchange is stealing—the claim that ‘crypto is different’ does not change that. Former Newport News firefighter pleads guilty to sexually abusing an infant and distributing videos of the abuse
NORFOLK, Va. – A Suffolk man pled guilty on March 25 to production of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and coercion of a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity.
According to court documents, beginning in October 2024, Alex Tyler Buenaga, 32, began sexually assaulting a three-month-old infant, filming the abuse, and distributing the resultant CSAM online. Buenaga invited others, including Ryan Wade Johnston, 45, of Virginia Beach, to his residence to participate in the sexual abuse and smoke methamphetamine. Buenaga, a former Newport News firefighter, recorded himself sexually abusing the infant over 90 times and on at least one occasion, recorded himself blowing methamphetamine smoke in the infant’s face.
On Jan. 24, 2025, in response to an emergency tip that a user of the Telegram instant messaging application was producing and distributing CSAM, agents with the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force located and proceeded to Buenaga’s residence. Buenaga and Johnston were arrested before they could inflict additional abuse on the infant.
Buenaga is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 22 and faces a mandatory minimum of 15 years and up to life plus 60 years in prison. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
Johnston is charged with production of CSAM, receipt of CSAM, coercion and enticement of a minor, and possession of CSAM. A bench trial for Johnston is scheduled for June 15.
The FBI’s Norfolk Field Office investigated this case.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Joseph L. Kosky is prosecuting the case.

On April 1, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in one of the highest-profile cases of the 2025-26 term – and indeed, one of the biggest cases in several years. Trump v. Barbara is a challenge to President Donald Trump’s January 2025 executive order seeking to end birthright citizenship. All of the lower courts that have weighed in so far have ruled that the order is unconstitutional, but the Trump administration contends that those rulings – as well as the longstanding view that virtually everyone born in the United States is entitled to U.S. citizenship – are based on a fundamental misunderstanding of the Constitution. The challengers counter that the Trump administration “is asking for nothing less than a remaking of our Nation’s constitutional foundations” – one that “would cast a shadow over the citizenship of millions upon millions of Americans, going back generations.”
The constitutional provision at the center of the case, known as the citizenship clause, is part of the 14th Amendment, which was added to the Constitution in 1868. The clause confers citizenship on anyone “born … in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof.” It was intended to overrule the Supreme Court’s notorious 1857 decision in Dred Scott v. Sandford, holding that a Black person whose ancestors were brought to this country and sold as enslaved persons was not entitled to any protection from the federal courts because he was not a U.S. citizen.

John Sauer, was enacted to overrule Dred Scott and give citizenship to formerly enslaved people and their children, rather than to “the children of aliens who are temporarily present in the United States or … illegal aliens.” In the years that followed the adoption of the 14th Amendment, Sauer said, the court twice acknowledged the limited purpose of the citizenship clause. First, in the Slaughter-House Cases in 1873, the court “recognized that the Amendment’s ‘one pervading purpose’ was ‘the freedom of the slave race’ and ‘the security and firm establishment of that freedom.’” And just over a decade after that, the court in Elk v. Wilkins indicated that the clause’s primary purpose “was to settle ‘the citizenship of free[d] [slaves].’”
The Trump administration also contends that the executive order’s limitations on birthright citizenship are consistent with the rules used in early English and U.S. history, under which children were entitled to citizenship only if they were born within the allegiance of the government – that is, owing the government a duty of support and loyalty.

Have you ever seen or heard stories of a black triangular object hovering at low altitudes? For three decades, the object has been reported as a silent black UFO with bright colored lights in its centre.
It is said to be a secret US aircraft called TR-3B Black Manta. Typically observed at night, the TR-3B is rumoured to have a steady geometry that silently loiters in the air and vanishes like a state change.
The visible bright pulsating lights change through modes, giving the UFO a mysterious look. The aircraft is allegedly a top-secret, anti-gravity reconnaissance aircraft developed by the US military under a black project.
A black project is a classified military project not formally acknowledged by a government or associated authorities.
What is a TR-3B Black Manta, and what is it possibly designed for?
While the existence of the TR-3B UFO is speculative, the strong pattern of sightings in different parts of the world suggests the presence of a purpose-built aircraft.
A recent article from Medium, which focused on the physics and engineering of the TR-3B, states that the UFO shows two operational patterns.
A steady power mode showing silent low-altitude hovers for station-keeping, and a pulsed mode revealing state-change transitions through speeds and altitudes.
The sightings imply that the TR-3B is purposely designed to perform station control, power transitioning, and thermal management under atmospheric loads.
The Black Manta is speculated to also have what is known as the “anti-gravity” technology. While having no gravity is impossible, counteracting the gravity in various ways can be achieved.
The UFO may use nuclear energy to accelerate high-pressure plasma, creating an anti-gravity field around it.
Moreover, specialised thrust generators onboard the UFO offer rapid transitions in speed, orientation, and position.
Military.com states that the plasma created through nuclear reactions significantly reduces radar signatures, enhancing the aircraft’s survivability and lethality.
The perceived capability coincides with the TR-3B’s reported sightings at various locations. The aircraft can fly to any part of the world undetected by most air traffic radars and defence systems.
The design elements were determined from hundreds of Black Triangle sightings
The National Institute of Discovery Science (NIDS) conducted an extensive investigation into the black triangle sighting, following the accumulation of over 150 separate reports from the US, Canada, and Europe.
All reports suggested the sighting of a large, low-flying triangle object. Based on the NIDS reports and from the accounts of independent aircraft designers, the size, thrust, and payload approximations of the black triangle were estimated.
The NIDS concluded that the black triangular-shaped object is a very large, brightly lit, and extremely silent craft. It is mostly sighted near water, including lakes.
Moreover, its ability to quickly accelerate from a hovering position suggests the use of powerful nuclear-based technology. The Black Manta may be designed to conduct intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions.
Given the aircraft’s relatively flat triangular shape, as suggested by numerous sightings, a range of advanced systems can be installed.
From aperture radars and high-resolution cameras, to Electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensors, the patterns suggest sensing and data-gathering missions.
With its low observability and minimal signatures, the TR-3B seems to operate in specific timeframes while having significantly long station times.
Moreover, if Black Manta is indeed a human-built aircraft, it could be designed as a technology demonstrator to explore advanced technologies for future IS aircraft.

Ex-Biden staffer said he accidentally shot girlfriend in shower, charged with death
An ex-security staffer for President Joe Biden charged with killing his girlfriend in San Francisco told police it was a horrific accident.
Nation Wood, 25, was arrested Wednesday 24 hours after he allegedly shot and killed Samantha Emge, 22, a 2025 graduate of San Francisco State University, at the home they shared in the city’s Sunset District.
Wood says on his LinkedIn profile that he was as a part-time security staffer who worked with Biden’s White House Secret Service team starting in 2023. A photo on his profile shows him smiling with former VP Kamala Harris in front of a presidential jet.
The former White House security staffer told police he accidentally shot Emge through the wall in their apartment while she was showering, according to The San Francisco Standard.
Wood was “dry-firing” his weapon and didn’t realize it was loaded when a bullet pierced the wall and killed Emge while she was showering, The Standard reports.
Dry firing is the act of pulling the trigger on an unloaded firearm to practice shooting without live rounds.
Wood was charged with involuntary manslaughter for killing Emge. That charge is brought when prosecutors believe a killing was unintentional.
Charging documents filed by the San Francisco district attorney say Wood killed Emge “without malice.” He faces up to four years in state prison if convicted.
Wood shot and killed Emge at their apartment near San Francisco’s Ocean Beach on Tuesday, according to police.
